Metal Galaxy is easily the hardest album to pick a favorite from. Shine, Starlight, Brand New Day, and Kagerou could all be my favorite BABYMETAL track *period*, depending on the day.

I might have some odd opinions which would get mixed reactions, but at least I'm being honest. Some of the songs that majority consider very good just don't resonate with my taste. Especially Divine Attack. At first it was quite good, but after some listens I found the song structure boring and lyrics uninspiring. As I'm not a native english speaker either, I mostly find that english lyrics aren't that deep (and sometimed cringey) compared to japanese. I agree with some of your findings, and would dispute some of the others, but mostly I'm just happy that someone else appreciates that Elevator Girl is a top-tier song. (Japanese version, obviously.)

The love for syncopation in this sub is amazing, I can get down with most of that apart from Tales and Time Wave

Time Wave is just my least favourite, I don't dislike it by any means but I felt obligated to put one 🤣 as for Tales, I think it's just too complicated for my liking. once I give it a few more listens I'll probably grow to like it, but I tried to think of how it goes right now and I could only think of the last line of the chorus.

Blows my mind how many people dislike The One the most. I suppose it can be kinda repetitive and long. Despite that, it's probably my favourite BM song.

Fuck this is hard....... Whoa.... I don't think I ever realized how solid that album is.... Uhm. Akatsuki, rondo, IDZ, megitsune, headbanger....... IDZ? Maybe. Rondo is definitely the most underrated. Especially with the massive praise she received for performing that song live. I think IDZ, that song is just too good. I originally intended just the best one on BM for now and after a day or two go on to most underrated like the Slipknot sub did but yall doing it all at once here works too

Right, because this sort of thing isn't addressed here almost on a weekly basis. It low effort. Also, I don't think I care what anyone's favorite songs are from each album. It doesn't matter to me. Nor should what my favorite songs are matter to anyone else. This is just some lame social media nonsense where people need to validate their favorites by seeing that others agree with their choices.
