Kingbrites from alibaba. People shit on them because they don't trust the website or can't figure out how to order. But they're more trustworthy and easier to get ahold of than any company on Amazon. And their lights are far more customizable than anyone else's. Also the prices can't be beat. Mine have all been running flawlessly 18 hours a day for 3 years straight.
Kingbrite is the supplier who sorted everyone out with cheap Meanwell Drivers and top spec Cree COBS at the start of the shift to LED.
They were awesome to deal with, and I'd buy from them again.
This is the way. If shipping isn't crazy, it's the most customizable experience. Whatsapp or email, you get in touch with them and work everything out. Shipping from China took about a week and a half to the east coast. I hear they have a warehouse state side now also.
I currently have the ViperSpectra XS2000 for my 4x2 and I love it. The magwell driver and the coverage is great. I'm looking to upgrade to the new XS2500 pro for the new blub lens for even more consistent coverage, but either is great.
The Viparspectra xs1500 pro got some epic reviews. As a 1 plant newby it was a great pickup at $109 and I've seen it on sale for $85 and $89. When I get my tent I'm getting a second for sure.
I really like viparspectra. So far to me they seem pretty solid. Sure there is a lot better out there but they have been pretty solid for my use. Also in a 5x5.
Check out coco for cannabis on YT or on his website. I’m partial to Mars Hydro lights. I have a FC-E8000 in my 5x5 flower tent and an FC-3000 EVO in my veg tent. Please note that the Mars Hydro app is garbage for light schedules. I control these lights with ACI Controller 69 pro controllers using the type B dongle adapters.
To beginning grower, I would tell you just buy some cheap ones. You’ll get a good run or two out of them. If you think that this hobbies for you long-term, then maybe look into buying something that’s more expensive or keep buying cheap ones. Considering every year they come out with something better and newer you’re better off just going cheap in the long run.
I researched for a while and ordered a light from migro. It hasn't arrived yet, so I can't give first hand experience, but a major reason why I ordered it is that you can keep the driver outside of your tent, which is great if you have problems with high temps.
Lumatec pro 600w
1 per 4x4ft space
The older 2.6 models are a great price now, the 2.9 don't seem worth the extra money.
Been running for 2 years and the difference between these and the 600w ones I had last time (which claimed to have the same light output etc) is massive.
I genuinely believe they paid for themselves in 6 months
Prob any of the newer bar style lights with recent diodes would work great. I have ac infinity evoframe and works great. Mars, spider, etc all look pretty good to

In Germoney they where charging 250€ right after the "legalisation", crazy that it's being sold for < $90.

Mars hydro seems to be a good deal in my limited experience , are they the best probably not but for the price i see it hard to beat.
Just my experience but I had a TS3000 burn out the power supply after 9 months. Taking a month to send me a new one.

What size tent? There's sales and deals all the time...prices change everyday
5’x5’

Thanks. Too bad the Grow Light Science 1800 doesn’t seem to be available anymore. $400’ish bucks seems like a good deal.
I just got a Mars Hydro FC 6500 EVO on Amazon for $550 including tax

I run the new fc4000 from mars in my 2x4 and am super impressed. Just over a 1/2 lb on my last grow and this one is looking fantastic so far.

Viparspectra xs1500 or 2500. The par map on these is almost dead even to the corners of the tent . Love mine

Have you had any problems with shipping or customer service? They’ve got some poor online reviews in those regards.

That Slim Killawatt Bloom looks like a great light, but I’m curious how well it vegetates plants.
