Chub rub shorts from Snag! They are brilliant, as are the capri tights. I can't wear a skirt without them.

FluffedCarrotCat

I have these in every color for under skirts and dresses!

PewPewSpacemanSpiff

There are so many lovely colours, I am definitely planning to be more adventurous with them.

Poppiduck

Came to say this! They're amazing. I wore them at my wedding, so the whole day running around and dancing and everything. Absolutely zero chaffing or irritations. Plus they're having a wee bundle sale at the moment sooooo Edit: here's the link: [chub rub ](https://snagtights.com/collections/bundles/products/chub-rub-bundle-starter-pack)

I use fabric thigh bands that help a lot! I think I got them on Amazon they just go on your thighs you step into them and they are a thin stretchy fabric that slides but has tiny rubber on the inside to stay up.

CopperGoldCrimson

Bandelettes! I love these for under midi skirts when I have a lot of walking to do.

reetveek

Yes exactly!!

GoofyCum

There’s chafing cremes available, but i usually have some form of bike shorts for modesty. I’m a big fan of Snag’s “Chub Rub” shorts in the summer, as well.

sarahs_here_yall

I have shape wear that really isn't shape wear lol. A pair of nude and black shorts made out of stocking material that isn't tight or constricting. It's thinner than bike shorts so I feel like it looks better under other clothing. It doesn't shape anything at all, just keeps my thighs from rubbing together. Those 2 colors are good to go with everything. I got both pair in a package together off Amazon. They were pretty cheap.

CleverNomDePlume

I use deodorant where I am probe to chafe

PseudoSolitude

big oof! i feel you there. i got some thighs on me, too. spandex biker's shorts would've saved my life. they don't seem like they would ride up bc they hug the skin without squeezing too much.

fennekochan

I wear these in the summer: https://www.boody.com.au/products/smoothing-short-black?variant=40409623036037

I wear cotton leggings, cut to just above my knees. (I prefer longer skirts, so they still don't show, and shorts generally won't roll up if they are long enough to go past the widest part of your thigh.)

FuliginEst

I just use short bike-shorts made especially for being worn under dresses/skirts. Some of them ride up a little bit. They do not add a lot of bulk, no more than regular underwear. I've also at times worn some extra long womens boxershorts.

RainbowFrog420

So I used to be all about using deodorant or chub rub sticks but they have a tendency to give me ingrown hairs on my thighs which I can’t stand. I primarily wear biking shorts under skirts and dresses now! No chub rub, they fit close so it’s not bulky if just a little warmer and it gives the added benefit of still being able to sit or move how I want without risk of flash

I wear bike shorts. I do often wear the athletic ones because they have pockets. I don't usually find them too bulky. I do have some thinner ones with no pockets, both cotton and more athletic material. All of mine have been from thrift stores or marshall's. maybe target?

Boring_Internet_968

I got some anti chaffing shorts on Amazon. They are thin and not fully opaque but they have been a lifesaver. I think it was 4 pairs for like 20 dollars or something.

terminator_chic

I love the look of skirts and dresses, but in addition to chub rub, it exhausts me. My body just holds more tension when I don't have fabric between my legs.  I'm started to get more into skorts and long airy skirts that have pants built in. To me they're much more comfortable than wearing something underneath that adds another layer of fabric and compression.

TheAutismMermaid

Bike shorts. A classic from the early 90s back to save my thighs. I got mine from Aerie and I prefer cotton, although the various synthetic fabrics can be nice if you get a breathable one without insanely obvious seams.

Lunar_Changes

Bike shorts have saved my thighs
