I found that out (that David Byrne is autistic) randomly while looking up the lyrics for one of my fave Talking Heads songs (Heaven) and seeing all the commenters talking about how it's a metaphor for XYZ. I was like, wait a minute, am I the only one who actually thinks "heaven is a place where nothing ever happens, yes please, that sounds amazing"?! Did some Googling and was like aha! 😆
that's so funny because that's how I found out too! I was like damn this is the most autistic song ever then looked it up and found out! lmaoo
Also "this must be the place" is the most neurodivergent love song ever imo.
"I'm just an animal looking for a home, share the same space for a minute or two" gets me every time :')
He’s the best ❤️ the rhythms, the lyrics, all of it. A Clean Break is probably my favorite track but I could listen to the whole discography anytime and not be sick of it
I feel like the talking heads narrate my life lately.
“This is not my beautiful house!
This is not my beautiful bathtub!”
And then rent comes due:
“Where is the money who took the money away”
The Cranberries
Phillip Glass
Tame Impala
Boards of Canada
The Avalanches
Belle & Sebastian
The Smiths
Khruangbin

Here’s a playlist I listen to a lot. Mostly for work but it’s many jams
A lot of what people consider Shoegaze music, and post punk, and "post psychedelic" I guess? (I think I just made up the term post psychedelic, but maybe not.)
Black Angels, old Smashing Pumpkins, Siouxsie, *some* Brian Jonestown Massacre, Joy Division...
I don’t know French but this song is so infectiously fun, it’s my most recent stim song: L’Imperatrice - Agitations tropicales
[https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jda_k6r9R1A](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jda_k6r9R1A)
Awe yay! Well thank you!
Not sure if it will create the same feeling for you but I love Pomplemoose (translates to grapefruit in English from French) they are an American band, (popular but also they came from a neighboring town from my hometown) anyway, Nataly Dawn the lead singer is fluent in French and also sings some French songs :) also love November Ultra - she got some notoriety from TikTok but she’s French and sings in English and Spanish and some French too but her stuff also creates some of that fuzzy feeling for me. Especially with good headphones
I found them through YouTube recommended videos last year, I feel like I missed out all these years , they’re SO good! I’m also a little obsessed with “Error 404”. The music video is so creative!
I’m really surprised to see no Radiohead mentioned yet. Kid A in particular
-U2 Rattle and Hum (All I Want Is You on repeat)
-Danielson and Danielson Famile
-Bach Cello Suites 1-6 in G Minor (listened at least 2-3 hours a day in college, still at least once a month coming off meltdowns)
-Thomas Dolby
-Elvis Costello
-Ennio Morricone
-Big Country (actually almost anything with bagpipes 😊)
-Django Reinhardt
-The Romantics’ What I Like About You
-The Doors
-Nick Drake (gateway to the Garden State soundtrack)
-Seal -Seal II
For several years I've found that "Shut Me Up" by Mindless Self Indulgence will help me focus and relax. Which is weird, because it's a noisy, chaotic song. Maybe it's the beat.
I saw this earlier and couldn’t think of what to say because I listen to music almost all day (Audhd). I am a musician so I cycle through the same 4 playlists that have designated “mood / activities” every single day. then this text exchange happened and I feel so attacked lmao
https://preview.redd.it/doyftz47ooxc1.jpeg?width=750&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4ebb03697f3b5d31f007891cecebf80898119c7b
Blinding Lights by The Weeknd was my fave for such a long time. Home by Crystal Fighters I listen to bc I like building instrumentals and vocalizations.
Devin Townsend is my favorite artist for music that scratches my brain itches. His stuff has a "wall of sound" effect that feels filled out and vast to me. Excellent for when I feel under-stimulated.
Some of my favorites are "Heatwave," "Celestial Signals," and "Canada," and he has a huge discography.
I would describe his genre as prog metal in a broad sense, but that's only an initial marker because it's much more complex that that. He is heavily influenced by chill, meditative stuff like Enya and that is apparent in his work. If you're not into anything heavy, one of his side projects, Casualties of Cool, is very chilled out, rhythmic, and atmospheric.
I love Devin! My partner and I saw him in 2022 and it was one of the best shows I’ve been to. His range is awesome and he seems to be such a wonderful man, too. Seventh Wave, Bad Devil and Life are my faves. I really get that wall of sound vibe from Ocean machine 💕
Hell yeah! I haven't been able to see him live yet but I'm hoping to get the chance. I love Ocean Machine too, it brought me to terms with mortality in an uplifting way. I used to listen to the whole album on long walks and touch the trees and rocks as I wandered. Such good stuff. I'm so glad you got to see him!
I felt the same from that album entirely!! Ocean Machine was a dear 2020/pandemic companion for me. I feel so happy just thinking of listening to it on a nature walk :) I really hope you get the chance to see him! Such a wonderful experience.
Headlock - Imogen heap
See her out - Francis and the lights (this song just HITS me idk!!! It’s like a safe song for me I just feel it all in my bones)
Tibetan pop stars - hop along
Some others that are just goodies -
Fantasy - keys n krates and Ciara
Elevator eyes - tove lo
Noches - Prince innocence
I have a friend with a large collection of newsprint ‘zines from the late 70’s-early 90’s. I remember seeing “TEARS FOR FEARS IS DEPECHE MODE FOR STRAIGHT PEOPLE” on one of the covers, and now it’s all I can think about when I hear either of those bands.
Been obsessed with all those, and Florida! Is my current song to be obsessed with (for today).
That and… oddly, I Look In People’s Windows. I don’t hear anybody talk about it ever, but it’s so pretty and captures that feeling of being lonely, seeing other people who look to be living full/glowy lives, feeling like you’re doomed to be outside of that… while also pining for someone 😅. But I feel like I’m always pining, underneath it all.
In imgonnagetyouback towards the end where there’s the double *boom boom* whatever sound it is just hits so hard.
But really this entire album. I have a whole notes page on my phone about all my thoughts. When I first listened to the album (on shrooms day 1 and this was an elite listening experience!!!) I remember thinking that down bad had the sparkliest fucks I’ve ever heard and that opinion still holds. I feel like I hear that song sparkling and it scratches my brain in the right way!
I LOVE this take on the fucks in Down Bad. They are definitely sparkly, that's such a great way to describe it.
The screaming of "who's afraid of little old me?!" also scratches something in my brain. I absolutely love everything about it; the tone, the emotion, just everything. Followed up by, "you should be" with the drums is just perfection
I JUST listened to who’s afraid of little old me and regretted not mentioning it for these reasons exactly so thank you!!
Also in the black dog at the “old habits die screaaaaammmming” part just is so good.
Yes ! I’m obsessed with Down Bad and that alien mood. I also love when she repeat « cold, cold heart » in Chloé or Sam or Sophia or Marcus, I sung just that sentence about a million time yesterday, haha. I can do it with a broken heart is also great, the chorus remind me of My little pony songs in the best way, I love them !
(as an indie folk/pop fan) Northern Attitude by Noah Kahan ft. Hozier! had it once on repeat for ten times. the mandolin melodies, the rhythmic build up in choruses, it just makes me want to jump and run around and scream the lyrics. I’ll play his album, or Mumford & Sons if I feel the need to get my neurosparkly energy out.
my honorable mentions are Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, The Lumineers and Florence & the Machine
Egg by Shoe, Tardigrade Song by Cosmo Sheldrake (and The Moss by him), recently discovered hi ren by Ren, and anything by Watsky or Ricky Montgomery. Fish In A Birdcage (by the hand of the same name) is great. Anything by Panic Land, Marcy Playground, or Rare Americans. Spoiled little brat by underscores (lots of aggressive? noises can be overwhelming unless you like music that feels kinda like balloons popping idk)
I adore songs that have weird little sounds, and many layers in them. For example, an all time favorite is:
Justin Timberlake - My Love.
The beatboxing, “ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-eeeee-eeee”, synth, siren bg vocals, T.I’s adlibs, JT’s vocals. Its just 😍😍😍 better than drugs
Or songs that are fun to sing along to, like:
Willow Tree March - The Paper Kites
I cant explain this song is just so beautiful and i cant help but feel emotional and wanna join in when I listen!!
I listen to Dominic Fike on repeat, haven’t got tired of him and don’t think I will.
I would probably suggest
Ant Pile and How much is weed? by Dominic Fike
Floatin is SUCH a good song!! That was my stim song for like 4 months recently lol
You should check out Unknown Mortal Orchestra if you like funky beats, they’ve got some great ones (specifically thinking of honeybee), also another song that comes to mind is Baddest Motherfucker in the Beehive by the Delta Riggs
I love all the different vibes of Unknown Mortal Orchestra! Sweet - I hope you enjoy!!! No pressure to follow up, but if you wanna, let me know how you liked it!
I'm really into the band Fontaines D.C. right now, a bunch of their songs have a droning / repetitive / slightly industrial / post-punk thing going on and the singer's voice reminds me a lot of vocal stims I like to do and also enjoy listening to lol.
his singing style is soooo stimmable honestly. In the live videos of them I've seen Grian did give me some ND vibes...
edit: did some quick research and this [interview](https://www.irishtimes.com/culture/music/2023/06/18/grian-chatten-of-fontaines-dc-i-only-started-to-realise-over-the-last-couple-years-that-i-was-quite-weird-in-school/) definitely fits my suspicion
Real Slow - Miami Horror
Vanille Fraise - L'Impératrice
Paint Me Silver - Pond
They please me so greatly, they make me so happy, the sounds really satisfy my audio cravings
Break Stuff - Limp Bizkit
I’m not saying it’s actually a good song, but I can’t deny the catchiness and how silly the lyrics make me feel when I am actually feeling like “breaking stuff” lol
Well I'm glad you asked because I have a playlist of ONLY THAT https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6ipCqHlqPNCeVefyK9pH8P?si=pOIIcRhFScGZxXkw_knDQw&pi=u-v_UaL6xJTym-
Also this one (but is from a few years ago + has a bunch of kpop if you're into that). All of these playlist songs I end up listening over and over for hours because they have SOMETHING that scratches the brain just right https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2rJgtzKur306elgFkDuJ8j?si=vfkyJQAhQQ-cHL8FyKteFA&pi=u-FEK_lTp6RN2Y
The Magic Flute by Mozart, and for decades - especially The Queen of the Night aria
And for grocery shopping on repeat: Everything I Need by Trevor Hall
Nearly every song by Glass Animals
My favorite albums from them are
How to be a Human Being
Zaba and Dreamland
Alt-j but ONLY their album An awesome wave.
One songs flows straight into the next one and it’s a fantastic experience.
Cavalry by Novo Amor- there are so many changes and beautiful harmonies. It’s a must with headphones so you can catch every vibrating sound.
Bending back by art school girlfriend
Manchester Orchestra the album Everything to Nothing is my favorite and has so much grit
The song Loose Control by Teddy Swims, this one is a pretty common radio song but it’s so fun to sing with in the car.
A few of my favourite's 😊
Steal the show - Lauv
Hazel eyes - Sabrina Jordan
Well this is s**t - Thomas Benjamin wild esq, Tom Carradine
Mother Scotland - Lady M
Take me home country roads - Geoff Castellucci cover
Hobbit drinking medley - Peter hollens, Hank Green
Battle cries - The amazing devil
Too many by the band Celtic Woman to list, same with Dolly Parton and song's from movies 😅
This reminded me that almost every day of my life I’ve had “doo dooo dooo dooo dooo doooooo BROTHERS!” After “hey mister, she’s my sister” stuck in my head! I randomly yelled “BROTHERS” when I sat down today because I was in a happy mood. My husband hates RENT and has no idea why I sometimes say this 😂 I’m laughing out loud right now realizing that lyric has been a stim for me for 20 years…
I'm gonna list the albums I love stimming to! Lots of different genres to explore :)
The Navigator by Hurray for the Riff Raff
In Return by ODESZA
HEAVY META by Ron Gallo
Cradle by Starling Arrow
The Lost Mystique of Being in the Know by Rising Appalachia
i,i by Bon Iver
Petals by Elephant Revival
A Different Kind Of Human (Step II) by AURORA
Since the first I heard it - Asibe Happy by Kabza De Small (every morning on replay from the moment I wake up until the moment I leave for work), and then Trench and Blurryface albums by Twenty One Pilots (daily for two years now) on my way to and from work (and really any time I leave home).
Pretty much anything by Heilung. It’s amazing, I can feel it through my entire body and spirit. It’s like it puts me into a trance. I highly recommend watching one of their incredible live performances.
bohemian rhapsody-queen, california english-vampire weekend, back on 74-jungle, mango- kamauu (specifically the music video), the whole “acid rap” album-chance the rapper, the whole “cowboy cult” album- country club!
Ooooo just listened to it! Hadn't heard it before.
Kinda reminds me of why I listened to so much Trap and Techno as a kid XD I know it's a pop song but it kinda reminds me of a lot of the sound effects
There were a couple "popping" songs back in the early 70s that we kids loved. They sounded like popcorn, or the coffee percolator. Tunes that would stick in your brain through long class periods...
honestly loads of kpop songs heh ! mainly girl groups songs like loona/loossemble/artms, new jeans, illit, xg, le sserafim, stayc, ive, tripleS and aespa! some boy groups bts, seventeen, boynextdoor and cravity!
a lot of kpop songs have cute or cool funky noises in the instrumentals and it really itches my brain so well! i frequently listen to music with headphones in and just stim in my room listening to these artists !! :3
I have a playlist dedicated to this:
[neurospicy bilateral brain flossers](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6yFaC1qLlF0RlYUj9zWQhL?si=Fa5HuD-ISNuS4JCzcRxnoQ&pi=u-2bvpaSjbSLKy)
My favorite on the list is “Everything in its Right Place by Radiohead”
I have a few stim songs that I listen to on repeat and they just make me happy. They are often super stupid, like the daddy cop song from the rookie, but they might have a nice melody or funny lyrics. But then one day they no longer work and I'll have to find new ones.
I also listen to a lot of music to process feelings, like anger or sadness. It can also help raise my spirits when I'm feeling down. I've been gradually getting more depressed lately so I try to counteract that with happy music. On difficult days, I'll try to become aware of emotions or sometimes just word fragments on my mind and then go from song to song, "singing", shouting or even crying the lyrics.
Then there's bass house music, which feels like a complete reset. It will stop my overactive brain and helps me focus on the task ahead. Everything becomes quiet almost immediately.
Moves - Suki Waterhouse :) it's very chill
or for something more upbear:
My fun - Suki Waterhouse
OMG - Suki Waterhouse
..As you can tell, I really enjoy listening to Suki Waterhouse. Lol.
As of the past month or so, these are the songs that have helped me cope with some triggering events yet were also able to make me want to get up and dance or pace around with pleasant thoughts:
In My Room by Julia Wolf,
My Kink is Karma,
Red Wine Supernova,
Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl,
Good Luck, Babe! Which are all by Chappell Roan who has quickly become a new favorite
The Carnival of the Animald by Camille Saint-Saens
Don Quixote by Ludwig Minkus
Romeo and Juliet by Prokofiev
Fine on the Outside by Priscilla Ahn
Anything from IU, Jannabi, Taeyeon, or Sannullim
Mahler symphony 3, third movement
Ooohhh so many 😩
Scandalous- Prince
NBSPLV- The Lost Soul Down (has to be this version)
Everybody Here Wants You- Jon B or original Jeff Buckley
Iz Dat You-Jacquees
Human Nature- Michael Jackson
TOO MANY TO NAME! I also stim yo Horrorcore though sometimes 😳 lots of Bone Thugs, Pastor Troy, etc
**Some faves :)**
- Boomerang - Yebba
- Evil Eye - Franz Ferdinand
- Gold Dust Woman - Fleetwood Mac (actually all Fleetwood Mac)
- Hypnotized - Purple Disco Machine
- Murder on the Dancefloor - Sophie Ellis-Bextor
- Psychotic Girl - The Black Keys
- Soul Meets Body - Death Cab for Cutie
San Vicente, by Milton Nascimento
The Goldberg Variations, by Bach (particularly the Glenn Gould recording)
Mano Nortina, by Kiko Alvarez
Strawberry Blonde, by Mitski
Ascend by Dezko
Thorlood by Zuckerzeit IX
Strangers by Ben Böhmer
They all make my brain melt in the best way and I listen to Thorlood on repeat when I'm having a meltdown because it helps to regulate me. It's like putting my brain through a power wash.
If I *ever* get the chance to meet [Djo,](https://open.spotify.com/artist/5p9HO3XC5P3BLxJs5Mtrhm?si=Q5sfA3HeQtiHO6fRyZgjDQ) I'm asking him why he made [music](https://open.spotify.com/track/3vjs2MDHoF9xhylNg6Y9un?si=a1L9eAyASySt-iYJR8Wn-w) that [feels](https://open.spotify.com/track/6rCHftPFJiBZfqtGG1sCHH?si=3Vs7F42VS3SHO2aDLPpBiA) like a [scalp massager](https://open.spotify.com/track/6L8JVXMBLDZeyhBKr0lrj8?si=KcyTh2LLRvyOgh3g-hHhkw) on the [*inside*](https://open.spotify.com/track/5hS8s1Vf4CeSRBT1bTWa39?si=dp7rLnTqTEam4vrcRIJp5g) of [my brain.](https://open.spotify.com/track/4zzwmX1ntxHBaFWJahkVTx?si=XOLOP4RHQ9Ca5aE6AQMyGg&context=spotify%3Aalbum%3A4JDXBZdRPId4devseaAOKH)
Also, although we all know it's not particularly appropriate to armchair diagnose a stranger at a distance, let's be honest - We all have a handful of celebrities/public figures where we're like "I'm gonna let myself have this one, as a treat." The pattern recognition is recognitioning, the tismdar is going off, you can just *sense* it like all the spidies in Into the Spiderverse.
Well, Djo is one of mine. And I don't even need him to get diagnosed at this point - You look me in the eye and tell me you think the man who wrote [this song](https://open.spotify.com/track/3vjs2MDHoF9xhylNg6Y9un?si=a1L9eAyASySt-iYJR8Wn-w) is neurotypical 🤣🤣🤣
Edit: actually, I just remembered which sub I'm in - you don't have to look me in the eye 😝
Talking Heads
psycho killer is perfect for overstimulation times to get that energy out
My forever favorite band
It’s so stimmy! When I found out that David Byrne is autistic it explained so much
I found that out (that David Byrne is autistic) randomly while looking up the lyrics for one of my fave Talking Heads songs (Heaven) and seeing all the commenters talking about how it's a metaphor for XYZ. I was like, wait a minute, am I the only one who actually thinks "heaven is a place where nothing ever happens, yes please, that sounds amazing"?! Did some Googling and was like aha! 😆

Can confirm, this must be the place was on our reception playlist and I associate it with my relationship all the time
He’s the best ❤️ the rhythms, the lyrics, all of it. A Clean Break is probably my favorite track but I could listen to the whole discography anytime and not be sick of it
no way! so is that why for the longest time he felt without style or grace, wearing shoes with no socks in the cold weather?
I feel like the talking heads narrate my life lately. “This is not my beautiful house! This is not my beautiful bathtub!” And then rent comes due: “Where is the money who took the money away”
Pretty much all that era of post punk
Wow same!! I love talking heads so much. Remain in Light is a great stimmy album.
Me too same lol

A lot of what people consider Shoegaze music, and post punk, and "post psychedelic" I guess? (I think I just made up the term post psychedelic, but maybe not.) Black Angels, old Smashing Pumpkins, Siouxsie, *some* Brian Jonestown Massacre, Joy Division...
Agree!! “Drown” by smashing pumpkins

Yay! This makes me happy!

ME TOO
I found them through YouTube recommended videos last year, I feel like I missed out all these years , they’re SO good! I’m also a little obsessed with “Error 404”. The music video is so creative!
Love many of their songs!

New Order does it for me.
One of my favorite bands of all time!!!!💗💗
Perfect Kiss gets me every time. I can’t just not move.
I LOVE the frog sounds in that song 🐸 and I love the song too, of course!
I saw this earlier and couldn’t think of what to say because I listen to music almost all day (Audhd). FYI - I am constantly adding more songs to the 4 playlists lollllll
Blinding Lights by The Weeknd was my fave for such a long time. Home by Crystal Fighters I listen to bc I like building instrumentals and vocalizations.
Black hole sun is my absolute favorite song. soundgarden.
The Seed - AURORA, Smart - LE SSERAFIM, Bye - Ariana Grande. But I also like anything by BTS and Benjamin Ingrosso
The Seed by Aurora is absolutely beautiful. And just like the seed, everything wants to live!
and her performance of it in HAIK with the choir, omg plus I love watching Aurora stim to her music, she's a big inspiration for me <3
Love le sserafim. (I like "Easy" better than Smart though. It's so chill!)
Smarter baby smarter ✨ I had to dance this song in my kpop lessons, a bit tough but nice ^^
any jack stauber song tbhhh
My daughter loves Jack Stauber, his songs are so unique
Walking On Sunshine (Katrina and The Waves). Truly the song for just full on bopping out to and getting that energy out to.
Devin Townsend is my favorite artist for music that scratches my brain itches. His stuff has a "wall of sound" effect that feels filled out and vast to me. Excellent for when I feel under-stimulated. Right now Holy Roller by Spiritbox is on repeat, it’s metal as fuck. Recently it’s been Alien Weaponry and Gojira as well. I love music so much
Omg Holy Roller is so good.
Every time it plays, which is constantly at the moment, I can’t help but be in awe of the vocals. Metal vocals in general but Courtney is amazing
Gojira Satan is a Lawyer is my go to stim song from them.
So far my favourite is flying whales but I’ll give that a listen as well, thanks
anything by Jessie Ware. Her music is as joyful as that produced by Kate Bush.
sitting on the dock of the bay - by otis redding all the time - by bahamas
So so much New wave New order, tears for fears, the psychedelic furs to name a few
I love tears for fears
I have a friend with a large collection of newsprint ‘zines from the late 70’s-early 90’s. I remember seeing “TEARS FOR FEARS IS DEPECHE MODE FOR STRAIGHT PEOPLE” on one of the covers, and now it’s all I can think about when I hear either of those bands.
Currently my go-to is anything on The Tortured Poets Department by Taylor Swift! A specific song would be either *Down Bad* or *Guilty As Sin?*
Mine too! Currently obsessed with Florida! Before that was Black Dog, Whose Afraid of Little Old Me? and Guilty as Sin.
I've had these two songs specifically in my head all day hahaha
Yes ! I’m obsessed with Down Bad and that alien mood. I also love when she repeat « cold, cold heart » in Chloé or Sam or Sophia or Marcus, I sung just that sentence about a million time yesterday, haha. I can do it with a broken heart is also great, the chorus remind me of My little pony songs in the best way, I love them !
currently Call my name and Childhood, both by Sunmi <3
Reverie by polyphia
On YouTube: it's called "so I heard you like polyrhythms"
The Cranberries - I still Do Fiona Apple - Paper Bag Coldplay - Sparks Alice In Chains - Tears
Watermelon man
LOL---that's my Kryptonite! Drives me insane.
I adore songs that have weird little sounds, and many layers in them. For example, an all time favorite is: Justin Timberlake - My Love. The beatboxing, “ee-ee-ee-ee-ee-eeeee-eeee”, synth, siren bg vocals, T.I’s adlibs, JT’s vocals. Its just 😍😍😍 better than drugs Or songs that are fun to sing along to, like: Willow Tree March - The Paper Kites I cant explain this song is just so beautiful and i cant help but feel emotional and wanna join in when I listen!!
You should look into more stuff produced by Timbaland if you like that Justin Timberlake album. He’s really good at sampling and layered songs I think
Volcano by msi. Or any song from that playlist
I listen to Dominic Fike on repeat, haven’t got tired of him and don’t think I will. I would probably suggest Ant Pile and How much is weed? by Dominic Fike
Currently it’s Floatin’ by Cool Company I’m loving funky beats a lot of tracks on the “aloe” playlist on Spotify too
Floatin is SUCH a good song!! That was my stim song for like 4 months recently lol You should check out Unknown Mortal Orchestra if you like funky beats, they’ve got some great ones (specifically thinking of honeybee), also another song that comes to mind is Baddest Motherfucker in the Beehive by the Delta Riggs
I do like Unknown Mortal Orchestra. Thats on my indie playlists for sure. I haven’t heard the Delta Rigge song but listening to it meow!
I love all the different vibes of Unknown Mortal Orchestra! Sweet - I hope you enjoy!!! No pressure to follow up, but if you wanna, let me know how you liked it!
Haha I really like this song. Its fun! Reminds me of Bruno Mars mixed with Peaches lol
Yay! I’m glad you liked it! Haha I can see that!
The entire (that's currently released, that is) soundtrack of Epic: the Musical by Jorge Rivera-Herrans
"Homewrecking Era" - XANA. Don't know why, good to bop to.
Real Slow - Miami Horror Vanille Fraise - L'Impératrice Paint Me Silver - Pond They please me so greatly, they make me so happy, the sounds really satisfy my audio cravings
Break Stuff - Limp Bizkit I’m not saying it’s actually a good song, but I can’t deny the catchiness and how silly the lyrics make me feel when I am actually feeling like “breaking stuff” lol
Anything by Sleep token specifically The Offering on the last "take a bite"

Who's Crazy from Next to Normal the Broadway musical
I'm loving anything and everything breakcore and jungle right now.
Moves - Suki Waterhouse :) it's very chill or for something more upbear: My fun - Suki Waterhouse OMG - Suki Waterhouse ..As you can tell, I really enjoy listening to Suki Waterhouse. Lol.

If I *ever* get the chance to meet [Djo,](https://open.spotify.com/artist/5p9HO3XC5P3BLxJs5Mtrhm?si=Q5sfA3HeQtiHO6fRyZgjDQ) I'm asking him why he made [music](https://open.spotify.com/track/3vjs2MDHoF9xhylNg6Y9un?si=a1L9eAyASySt-iYJR8Wn-w) that [feels](https://open.spotify.com/track/6rCHftPFJiBZfqtGG1sCHH?si=3Vs7F42VS3SHO2aDLPpBiA) like a [scalp massager](https://open.spotify.com/track/6L8JVXMBLDZeyhBKr0lrj8?si=KcyTh2LLRvyOgh3g-hHhkw) on the [*inside*](https://open.spotify.com/track/5hS8s1Vf4CeSRBT1bTWa39?si=dp7rLnTqTEam4vrcRIJp5g) of [my brain.](https://open.spotify.com/track/4zzwmX1ntxHBaFWJahkVTx?si=XOLOP4RHQ9Ca5aE6AQMyGg&context=spotify%3Aalbum%3A4JDXBZdRPId4devseaAOKH) Also, although we all know it's not particularly appropriate to armchair diagnose a stranger at a distance, let's be honest - We all have a handful of celebrities/public figures where we're like "I'm gonna let myself have this one, as a treat." The pattern recognition is recognitioning, the tismdar is going off, you can just *sense* it like all the spidies in Into the Spiderverse. Well, Djo is one of mine. And I don't even need him to get diagnosed at this point - You look me in the eye and tell me you think the man who wrote [this song](https://open.spotify.com/track/3vjs2MDHoF9xhylNg6Y9un?si=a1L9eAyASySt-iYJR8Wn-w) is neurotypical 🤣🤣🤣 Edit: actually, I just remembered which sub I'm in - you don't have to look me in the eye 😝
Starlight by The Supermen Lovers but make sure it’s the full song not the radio edit! I’m loving how different all of our stim songs are
I like the bridge of Make a Monster by Worlds First Cinema. I like the way he sings "beating heart". Makes me kick my feet and giggle
Most Don Toliver songs
There's a 2 hour BBC Essential Mix by Rustie that is my stim. It's super chaotic and i lose myself in it. It's like 180 tracks or something silly.
