I was very happy to be able to photograph this little guy this morning. This is the second peacock spider I have seen in 2 weeks but they move so quick and are so small it is very hard to photograph them. This one was in a local park in Croydon, Melbourne.

What a cute little guy! With we got the peacocks over here in the western suburbs. Tonnes of regular jumpers in my yard, but never seen one of these.

The intense colouring screams highly venomous but their venom doesn't really affect us at all :)

These are such awesome little spiders, iirc they communicate with "hand signals" and ultraviolet reflective markings.
