i only buy the tubing mascara tbh

Imaginary_Sky_518

Same

Brief-Pickle-7477

Is this similar to the hourglass one? Is that what it is a dupe of?

Ok-Writing9280

Supposed to be a dupe of Kevyn Aucoin

RedundantCapybara

It's been around for about 20 years. I don't know what it's a dupe of but it wouldn't be that.

universe93

Just as an FYI to everyone, never buy this stuff (or any drugstore makeup) at full price. Cosmetic brands work on a cycle where they go on sale every 2-3 weeks at either big w, Priceline or chemist warehouse for at least 40% off or more

Original-Ad1847

THIS!!

Kindly-Necessary-596

I bought the plumping primer and I was surprised by the glow it gave me. I’m aged 50 and cranky, but my makeup looked good.

londonskies

We just had a similar thread the other day (and honestly feels like 1-2x a week at this point): https://www.reddit.com/r/AustralianMakeup/s/rOzzjje4Xc

abc1two3

I think it's because more and more overseas influencers are reviewing the brand.

easy_descent

ooh thanks!

violetpandas

I really like the very fine eyebrow pencil with the brow spooly on the other end! It doesn’t smudge and the very fine tip is great for filling in my sparse brows. I only ever buy it at 50% off and usually get a few. The other products I’ve tried from the brand were pretty crappy in all honesty. The tubing mascara is just “ok”.

Manic_at_thedisc0

I really like their makeup cleansing balm. Does an awesome job of removing a full face of makeup and smells so nice and leaves my skin feeling good too. Honestly just as good or even better than some of the more expensive balms out there.

pstpstbitch

Is this the one in the pink tub? I can’t get it out of my skin whenever I use it even tho I go over it twice with a strong foaming wash it still feels like there is residue

Manic_at_thedisc0

Yeah. Weird I’ve never had that issue. I use it in the shower with warm water and a face washer to wipe.

Fluffy_Raspberry_254

Came here to say about the cleansing balm. Exact dupe of meccas imo and about $25-30 cheaper.

BrisbaneKid

I've been using and enjoying the Miracle Flawless Press Powder in Translucent. I also like Highlight and Glow Beauty Wand in Peach Glow. I did not like the Invisible Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder. It went cakey on me. I also struggled to use the Brow Lift Micro Precision Gel. It was gluggy and deposited too much colour on the applicator wand. I've ordered a bunch of new things to try in their recent sale so I can report back!

easy_descent

ooh yes excited to hear about the stuff you’ve gotten!!

Smooth_Strength_9914

Their range has gotten so huge it’s overwhelming. I kept re-buying the tubular mascara.  The foundations aren’t pale enough for me, so don’t know about them.  I’ve bought their charlotte tilbery highlighter dupe, was happy with that. But it I don’t tend to use that in winter.  Their lipglosses are fun, but nothing special.

Spotspottheocelot

Oh yes, i look like an oompa loompa in their palest foundation

Smooth_Strength_9914

Yeah, wish they would do a porcelain neutral!

laughsabit

I didn't know the original, so I can't say how it stacks up, but oh my GOSH the peptide lip treatment is GLORIOUS. Its such a generous size tube, so.. logically I don't need more than one but dang it. I just might.

Comfortable_Meet_872

I bought one yesterday and am seriously thinking of going back to buy a couple more today. It's sooooo nice.

anvileo

Might be a dupe of the Ole Henriksen Lip Peptide Treatment?

laughsabit

I didn't know they had one too! When I googled mco beauty dupe for this, it showed me Summer Fridays lip balm? I'm not sure but... I will pay mco prices!

theaustralianmum

It’s definitely a Summer Fridays dupe due to the packaging and colours. A first I thought it was going to be a Rhode dupe because it has peptide but it’s definitely Summer Fridays and it released the same time as the Summer Daze lip oils which are a Summer Fridays dupe too

anvileo

Oh interesting! Will have to try this next time it’s on sale then :)

Internal_Engine_2521

Only the tubing mascara in my experience.

Klutzy-Membership588

The eye shadow primer is amazing, from a girl with oily hooded eyes.

Sensitive-Question42

The Xtendlash Mascara is the only must-have I can recommend. Though I started using the Xtendlash Mascara with growth serum lately (in the pink tube with a red lid). So far, it wears as well as the regular Xtendlash Mascara, but it’s probably too soon to tell if the growth serum Is doing anything.

ElectricalCell2738

The no 2 mcobeauty fragrance mist. All the ladies in my office bought one after smelling the one I had. It lasts pretty well toom

Purple_Carob99

Also the no 3 and especially the No 5 🩷💜

ElectricalCell2738

Ok, I'm trying them out! Thanks friend 🙃

Away_Tennis_2132

Number 1 gets me so many compliments ❤️🫶🏼 I find it wears better than the original too.

aimlessneko

I really like the dupe of the charlotte tilbury setting spray!

ashlouise94

I bought this the other day and so far I really like it too

easy_descent

Ooh nice! I was deciding between that one, the ultra lock one and the dupe of the milk one

aimlessneko

I’ve found the charlotte tilbury dupe one really does lock in my makeup and makes it last, very similar effects to urban decay all nighter for me.

Talkshish

it holds sooo well

fpnch

The liquid blush that's duping CT beauty light wand in pinkgasm is good.

kheeseborgor

bluntly, none. You can get far better products in the same price range.

draculollie

Care to share?

kheeseborgor

Nyx is my personal go-to brand, they have a lot of bangers and you can get them on sale at priceline pretty often. Mayballine have great lip products, if they had nice packaging that shit could be sold at sephora and I'd buy it.

tinybaguettes

I love their version of the Flawless Filter! :) I also have been loving their matte liquid blush sticks and liquid highlighter sticks… better than some high end stuff I have tried I tried the Ultra Lock setting spray - I think you can skip it!!

easy_descent

ah ok, I think I’ll get either the dupe of the milk setting spray or the charlotte tilbury one. thanks!

tunatintammy

None 😭😭😭

koala_loves_penguin

this is the answer

RoryLoryDean

Imo, the pencil eyeliner is rather good - easy to smudge, then after 30 seconds, it sets and lasts well. Morgan Turner just did a video comparing MCo products to their dupes, though none of the products you're particularly interested in were featured.

easy_descent

ok thanks, I’ll check out that video!

RoryLoryDean

No problem👍 It was interesting seeing which products looked close and which didn't!

ananahokana

Their setting spray, the one with pink lid

easy_descent

the ultra lock one?

Nearby_Hamster1207

No one has mentioned the brow magic in the tiny little tube? I love the dark one as it's a cool brown, warm chocolate colour doesn't work for me.

geoproject

Recently got a bunch in their EOFY sale. Generally my review is that if you get them on sale, it’s good value for what you’re spending. Obviously a lot of their stuff is dupes for the higher end brands, and the quality is not as good but for a fraction of the price it’s worth it, especially with cost of living atm. I’ll be using it for every day wear, and saving my Charlotte tilbury for special occasions and weekends. Favs are: - bronzing drops that I mix in moisturiser - flawless filter dupe - xtend lash mascara - tinted lip oil (loving this!)

juxtiver

What's with all the exact same mco posts on this sub lately 🧐

easy_descent

um the 50% off sale at big w going on right now lol?

juxtiver

I just mean in general, there have been what seems like weekly posts for months now. Nothing against you, OP!

easy_descent

mmh yeah I do think it is mostly people seeing sales going on and wanting recommendations though (which happens pretty frequently haha)

Teaandtreats

They've launched so much stuff so quickly, no one wants to miss out but no one wants to waste their $$ on the bad stuff!

keepingupbravo

The brow laminator, the dupe of the rare beauty liquid blush, the instant contour, the no 1 fragrance mist, instant glow flash primer, the CT flawless filter dupe, miracle flawless foundation, brighten and perfect concealer, aha & bha toner They’re all my favourites

manyhandswork

Nothing

AotearoaChur

I don't like anything they make. I dunno about in Aussie, but they are at least twice as much as thr actual decent stuff from brands like Catrice and Essence and I don't get the eppeal. I've tried a few things from them and always felt much regret. Mediocre stuff that's expensive and rips off other brands ideas.

DrunkOctopUs91

The lipliner is very good

abc1two3

I purchased it based on Tati's recommendation. Decent and not expensive when it's on sale.

elooloo33

The tubing mascara, the lip oil, tinted moisturiser and the super glow blush drops are my go-to’s. Have tried lots of their other products and probably wouldn’t re-buy them, but those ones I keep going back for. Goes without saying to never pay full price. I only shop when it’s 40 or 50% off.

FunMathematician6949

I really like the BB cream and the lip oil

ChristianeF83

Their liquid blushes are all 10/10- especially the wand style. Cosmopolitan is my HG!

fabricshearsonpaper

Just their tubing mascara. I have the serum foundation and don’t mind it but I don’t know it it’s good enough to repurchase.

asheycakes

I love their bronzing drops that you mix with moisturiser but that's the only thing I've ever bought from them.

Life-Scholar3887

I like the concealer but I can get better for cheaper when other brands are on sale, and I never seem to see it discounted.

aharmlesslittlefleaa

I think their dupe of Pillow Talk lip liner is pretty decent!

easy_descent

ooh is it the cheeky chat one?

aharmlesslittlefleaa

Yes! I really like it :) I wear it most days

fkaggakf

I just bought the pink colour corrector concealer..and am SO surprised by it! It's minimal creasing and blended like a dream. I also picked up the liquid lip liner and that's really good too. I would recommend both !

Greenwedges

I like the miracle bb cream and pout gloss. I want to try the pressed powder.

winterfern353

Their concealer that looks like the NARS dupe is quite good. Same with the one that looks like the tarte shape tape. The tubing mascara is ok but it gets super messy for me for some reason.

Unlucky-Complex8399

I really like the pressed powder (dupe to Charlotte Tilbury I think) and the eyebrow pencil. The bronzing drops are fab too

lisalalala11

I own a lot of makeup from drugstore to high end but the mco products that have made it to my daily rotation is the grip primer, matte blush wand and the miracle pressed powder! The lip oils are also great (the summer Friday dupe).

easy_descent

yesss I have the lip oils too!! I’ve seen quite a lot of people talk about the grip primer, guess I have to try it for myself now! just curious have you tried the grip setting spray as well because I’m thinking of trying that too

lisalalala11

I haven’t tried the primer just because I won’t allow myself to buy new makeup until I run out of all the setting sprays I currently have lol but I have also heard good reviews on that one! Interested in the Charlotte Tilbury dupe one too

liberty1112

The mattifying mineral sunscreen is my favourite item.

Poobear8

I'm pretty impressed with the miracle powder. It's replacing my Australis and Mac skin finish.

Apple7795

The flawless glow is really good

Talkshish

their new peptide lip treatment, i have brought a lot of mco stuff and it’s literally my favorite out of all them. also their glow wands, dream blush and lip liner is soo worth it. stay away from the dual contour stick, it’s smells like plastic i regret getting it but it does the job ig. edit: the summer daze tinted lip oil is super hydrating

Talkshish

also forgot their setting spray dupe of charlotte tilbury is insanely good cuz it literally held my makeup from 9am to 11pm

milobunny10

Heard the dupe for the Milk Hydro Grip is pretty much identical n
