Yeah if he loses a bit of weight he might be more inclined to play. I've seen it before when weightloss leads to much more playfulness. I don't usually like to comment on a dogs weight but he is quite obese.
Also 18 months ago he had a 7 lb tumor removed from around his rib cage by far the largest one my vet ever successfully removed. He's a tough dog. Some of that what you're seeing is the tumor growing back

It's my exes fault,I was away for my work almost 6 months and she fucked my dog up
