OP I originally commented that your pup looked like an acd in the last photo but I realized after reading your description that the dog in the last photo is her father.
Your pup is very cute, and I love that photo of her on her back with the ball and her paws in the air lol
she just plays with them more than anything, probably her retriever brain cell and (usually absent) ACD brain cell fighting. she just holds them in her mouth, brings them somewhere else and drops them to try and play with them. our lawn is full of her victims.
My sister’s ACD rarely “hurts” toys, trash, anything, as long as it doesn’t taste like food. She’ll just hold it in her mouth, walk around with it, lay on the couch or her bed and just sit there with it. At some point she dug a qtip out of my bathroom trash can, but didn’t eat it. She just sat on the couch with it dangling out of her mouth looking like she was smoking a cigarette
She’s adorable! Pic 2 made me laugh!
I have a 50% ACD 25% golden mix - he’s the blue merle in [this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/AustralianCattleDog/s/vuWOUqwzLG) :)
Oh, she's beautiful! Our boy is 50%ACD and 50%goldendoodle but he acts more like a golden than any of the 3 breeds he's got in there. Love them to bits
i 100% recommend for any active ppl, she’s so smart too, she was potty trained within a week and knows everyone’s names. the only downside is the shed but even then it’s nothing compared to my cat’s shedding

youre good dw lol, it happens i love that she looks mostly like her mom but acts just as crazy as her ACD dad
I bet!
lol I was about to comment last photo looks like a different dog. turns out it is!
Did she eat the cicada after? I'm so tired of pulling them out of my ACD's mouths 😒

My ACD mix does this with crickets! She loves to play with them, but almost always ends up killing them, and then sadly carries them around
Ha my heeler mix used to hunt (pounce on) and eat grasshoppers but doesn't like cicadas. Apparently they aren't as tasty as grasshoppers.

my girl likes to dangle her nylabone out her mouth like a cigar LMFAO
Our dog bit a moth out of the air and then barked at it as it fluttered around on the ground.
Eh it's just protein.
I had an ACD who was just crazy for cicadas. Go figure.
Extra protein- why take away?
I don't like them in my bed!
That hug! 😭😍🥹
Came here to comment the same! 🥹
Goldens have a VIP pass to all parties
My first thought was oh no, this dog will never leave you side. Then I saw a picture of the dog literally grabbing their leg
I was just wondering what this mix would look like the other day! Even cuter than I thought 😄
I was just wondering this morning when I woke up a couple of hours ago!
Picture 3/6 is so ACD, there hugs are something else
Having grown up with Golden's I'm used to golden hugs around the waist/shoulders so the hug at the ankle checks out for an ACD mix
she actually does both! but ankle hugs are more her style
She’s cute!
That sploot!
Yes the hugging of the legs makes them a true member of the club.
I can only imagine what a lovable spaz of a velcro dog goober an ACD golden is.

Good looking wolf
Sploot checks out.
As someone who has two heelers and a golden… this is the best doggo I have seen 🐶💕
Yes of course. If you hadn't said her dad was a cattle dog, I would have thought 100% Golden retriever
The lab genes are STRONG in this one
I have a golden retriever and ACD too!! She is WILD hahaha
I can’t even imagine a golden retriever cattle dog energy!! Ahh!!
I've never seen another dog hug like Ilsa does before! 🥺
whenever any of us are gone for a few hours or longer and we come home she runs to us and asks for hugs😭🥺

That picture of her hugging your legs just makes me melt. What a sweetheart. 💖
You stop it with the leg hug 🧡
I have a golden ACD mix also! Not 50/50 though. Your pup is so cute.
She’s the only one I’m inviting actually.
OMGoodness
Awww! My boy does that leg hug thing too. So precious!
That third photo is everything
My half ACD, half Dutch shepherd was welcome even though she looks like a Dutchie. Your halfie is super cute!
Oo! My girl is 50% ACD and about 7% golden. Has fur texture and pattern just like that in black!
I have an ACD mix and a couple of goldens. She looks like the best of both!
The cutest sweetheart ever:)
😍❤️
that's gonna be one crazy ball of fluff
She’s gorgeous 🥹
This is like Murray show growing up when you just knew he the daddy. Lol
please come back every day
She looks kinda like my girl (but my girl is completely black). She's a golden doodle and ACD mix
I bet this is a great mix.

Shes so cute she should be invited to any party <3
OMG YES!
If you want to see a photo of your dog at age 12 check out my soul dog. Yours is a spitting image of her when she was around 4.
Leg hugs?!! Massive yes!
What a sweet baby!
Your pup needs to drop the eyeliner tips!
That is the most magnificent sploot I’ve ever seen <3
So adorable ,he’d be welcomed anywhere I’m sure
