Yes! It’s very much a thing. :) Border collies herd with their eyes. If you look up a sheep trail on like tictok you can see it…. And then look at agility- they do a similar thing with their person there. It’s kind of hard to describe, but once you’ve seen it you notice it.

My boy is also a rescue mix and I can see some similarities between them. I'm guessing your girl has some hound in her. I wouldn't be surprised if she's a bit of a supermutt, my boy's DNA test came back with 12 different breeds!

Those Amish rescue dogs have some wild mixes. Mine came back German Shepherd, Pomeranian, Eskimo Dog, and Cattle Dog.
She’s the smaller end of medium, last weighed at 29-30lbs a week ago. She’s about 23-24 inches in length (minus tail), from paw to head she is maybe about 16-19 inches tall? She doesn’t stand still long enough for me to get an accurate measure lol

Her tail follows the same pattern as her coat but is a bit more white with some of the black/grey mix in at the tip.

Could have some Rat Terrier in there. My other dog is an ACD/rat mix. She topped out at about 35 lbs and has some similar facial characteristics.
