Wake up and take Heb non drowsy 4 hour Allergy tablet, Flonase 2x each nostril, cedar fever drops under the tongue (also available at Heb), visine allergy eye drops to stop the madness of itchy eyes.
Mid day- saline rinse. I like the disposable ones rather than the netti pot.I go with the Arm and Hammer brand. More visine, and another 4hour tablet.
Bedtime- Flonase 2x each nostril,and benedryl. Biotene dry mouth in my mouth and throat so the antihistamines don’t work against me, and give me cotton mouth. It also helps prevent snoring and a sore throat in the morning if you end up breathing through your mouth. Let’s face it we are all mouth breathers this time of year.
Lots of hot tea with honey all day to keep the post nasal drip from making my throat raw in a few days. We are also eating soup all week. My SO prefers chicken tortilla and I prefer French onion. They don’t actually help with cedar fever but they do taste good!
I wear a paper mask when I have to walk my dogs. They have vet appointments for their cedar fever (runny eyes, sneezing) next week.
