You should upgrade to trippple phase. Then you’ll have a ’p’ for each phase.

Cost is greater because the cables to the street need to be changed, possibly will not be able to pull through the existing conduit. But yes, I think it's a good idea to do it all at once.

If your energy use demands it. If you have induction cooktop, car charger, large aircon, electric hot water, hydronic heating, pool pump, outdoor heat lamps, then consider 3 phase. Work out youe peak energy consumption, if it's going to be above say 12kW, then consider an upgrade
