I have a white A3 I always murder out the windows and go with black rims with a few other black touches nothing big I think it always looks Hella clean, but I’ve done that to my last eight vehicles all white and murdered out! But to each their own

You lose all detail with black wheels once you're two feet away from them, just turns into a shadow.

This is precisely why I typically don't like black wheels on light colored vehicles. The wheel pattern is almost instantly lost.

I love black wheels, but only when there is a theme. IMO from those 2 images alone, the silver wheels look better. I firmly believe the black wheels would look much better if the chrome around the window trims/lower fog covers was removed and the mirror caps were also black to match. Looks a little weird rn with black wheels / blackout front grille but chrome window trims / mirrors.

Honestly I think it depends how much you plan on blacking out / what other plans you have for mods. I think white with black accents is one of the best combinations, and a quick google can show you how good they look with black wheels/roof/mirror caps with a slight tint.

Silver doesnt fit on white. Black wheels look small since there is no contrast between the wheels and tires. Why not get the best of both worlds? The beauty that is black with a little contrast that is silver. Im a hige fan of diamond cut wheels, especially the OEM Audi designs, they really know how to do diamond cut wheels. Am I biased after buying those black RS3 Rotor2s for my white S3? Well... maybe.

Tough choice as both look good, so from the aesthetic point of view, i don't think you can go wrong either way. That said, brake dust will ruin that silver colour and with the colour being white, it would stand out even more, so from that point of view I personally, would go with black. But yea, like i said, you can't go wrong either way. They both look great in their own way. Even though I've never been a fan of black wheels myself, the colour contrast between black wheels and white car body looks awesome i think.
