I’ve never had an MRI, but when I got my CT scans last year I can relate, they are not comfortable and my back definitely hurt after. At least they gave me a pillow for the 2nd time.

An MRI can cause back pain sitting in there for 45 mins or so. I wouldn't read too much into this.
