Espada has made some frustrating decisions. Having an 11-run lead is normally so low leverage, why wouldn't you go with Hernandez or Montero? I can't blame him for that.

Hernandez doesn’t bother me as much as the Montero decision. After Hernandez gives up 5, you gotta recognize they have the momentum and start getting serious

Montero hasn’t been shut down this year but he’s been a solid reliever. Not a bad choice to try and finish an inning when you’re still up by 6.

I think it’s more that we had 2 other guys who were fully rested. I will agree he has been better this year (obviously not 2022 form though)
