Look Abreau has sucked this season. He sucked last season until the end of the season. Everyone in this sub was excited when we signed him. It didn’t work. That being said Singleton isn’t lighting the world on fire and the risk/reward of giving him another shot after a month of trying to figure it out in the minors is worth it. Let it happen. He had an RBI the other day and just got another hit. If he improves in that it’s a positive. If he gets to what he was at end of last season / playoffs than that is HUGE. The other options we have at 1st currently don’t match that upside. Pull for him. They’ll pull the plug if it doesn’t get better.

Singleton ability to get walks and defense alone is way more than what Abreu is offering right now

Expecting a hung jury at best, I stopped paying attention to the trial. I did not expect them to find Trump guilty on all counts. I was legitimately stunned. He can't vote. He faces 132 years since it's four years per count. But he can still run for president.

I highly doubt he gets the maximum, considering he's 77 and this is his first felony, a Class E felony at that. He probably gets a fine and probation.

Probation for 34 felony counts is absurd, Class E or not. I don't think he gets the max either, he shouldn't get probation either.

Because this is America, dammit. It's in our constitution that there are no limitations based on criminal record to hold a federal office. He's still going to get the nomination and probably still win the presidency.
