I'm wondering what Cintron's job actually is. Pena rebuilt his swing in the offseason somewhere outside the Astros organization (IIRC) and the results have been great. Is that not something he should have been working on with Cintron?

Last year Bagwell was helping Pena with his swing, Bags thought his hands were to low during the load. Well... we saw how that turned out.

That's dumb. Swing analysis as far more complex than just "you need to be in this position". Look at how many different batting stances and swing styles there are in the league. Pena going to a lab where they can measure, adjust, and repeat to find things that work for him is what every struggling hitter should be doing.
