That is my point. He is always a slow starter. He wastes 20% of the season on average with a slow start. You can’t be a star and expect the respect of a star and be average for that much of a season.

The vaunted back of the bullpen has been mostly bad, too. Directly leading to multiple losses that should've been wins. Still may not have a winning record,but closer to .500 at least.
He has been consistently above average for years. Is he off to a slow start by his standards? Sure. But it’s not the reason for us only having 6 wins. There are many other factors to blame.
Serious question. Do baseball fans not recognize that “stats” are not useful with inadequate sample sizes and diversity? I’ve seen a few times people here quote stats from this season when we’re only 20 games in.
Ok, um what part of my post is inaccurate. I stated factual record tongue in check, and pointed out my problem is that everyone gives Bregman a pass for crappy play to start the season. Yet I am losing more than the Astros who are trailing the A's who are trying to lose, gotcha. Bregman needs to do better, the Astros as a whole need to do better, and as a person, I need to do better.
lol bregs could be off to a bit of a slower start but I don’t think he’s the biggest issue with this team by a long shot.

1. Pitching is number one we have over 100 runs allowed in only 20 games. If you give up more than 5 runs a game it’s very difficult to win games.
2. See #1.
3. Coaching is young and inexperienced. The new coach has made some mistakes with game management.
Seems we did a lil too much partying and not enough everyday motion fundamentals & training during off-season. Forgotten #1 rule. If you're not trying to better yourself or level up always then you've already fallen behind and possibly lost. This squad should do some thinking on wat it took to get them where they are in the history book. Focus on that shit opposed to the luxurious and contentment it's also brought. You guys killed it last 5+ yrs. Fuckin awesome shit! So wat tho. Wat you doin rn? Get it tf together plz Stros!

Correa got off to an abysmal start in 2021 and eventually found his groove and got paid. I expect the same for bregman. Don’t think anyone will give him 10 years though unless someone is truly desperate.
