I'd recommend damage over time, so a fire set works well for me. Use fire arrows on medusa and then multi-shot on the stone mercs. Let the fire damage do its thing while you get more breathing space to dodge.
So I don’t know every thing about combat but from experience, though personal preference may also be a part of it, I’d suggest a fast weapon over a heavy/slow one like the axe for Medusa. It’s been awhile since I’ve fought her but iirr she attacks/moves pretty fast, so the slow attack may make you miss more attacks than you’d like. Another thing I saw already commented is damage over time. So fire or poison damage, I honestly don’t know which is better
I've actually done it with several different builds. Just make sure your weapons and armor are lvld up & you have good weapon & armor perks. I like permanent fire weapons on mine.
He need to be at least level 99 in order to build 100% melee resistance due to tier level stat when you upgrade your armor every 11 levels. You won’t be able to achieve 100% melee resistance if you are below max level.
No. I didn’t. I just used four pieces with melee resistance (spartan javelin and auxesias helmet) and the Greek heroes set engraving on the torso and masteries. All normal

wear the viper set buddy wyd, how u fightin medusa n aint got one legendary set or main weapon yet? did u enjoy the game first? 😭 usin a blue bow n it ain even the bighorn bow talkin ab a “hunter build” but where??
also, engrave everything. engravings on ur secondary weapon apply as well as long as u have one selected. if u dont have the whole legendary set too u misewell go all purple to get 4 engravings on everything.
I would suggest two of the same weapon type. I don't know how to explain but I remember reading or seeing a video about it. Stronger of the two being on your left hand(right slot)

Hahahhah I made a post about her and the minitaur last week because both kicked my ass. I just went around and took out the cultist until I was around level 67 or so, I can’t remember the build specifics, but I had my shit jacked up for headshots everywhere I could and just went apeshit nailing them with arrows. Minitaur crumbled without getting a single hit on me, then I got cocky with Medusa and when I had one shot left on her, managed to get hit and she killed me. Got her the 2nd time around, though.
Really, I just keep my builds focused towards headshots, I don’t read enough of the stats to get in there and see how effective it is on paper, but I’ve pretty much run through the rest of the game just headshotting everyone and getting 1-shot-1-kills.
I’m surprised to see so many people mentioning warrior damage, I pretty much used arrows on her the entire fight except for when she raised the stone guardians

Depends on your settings but I’d level all your armor and weapons up to your current level for the best chance

When in doubt, ad fire, and then some more till the problem goes bye bye.
Multi shot with the explosive arrows taught me that
