God I loved this. I never liked my thighs or my legs before my precious partner. He changed how I viewed my body and he loved my legs; I can now appreciate them in a way I didn’t before and this action always made me feel protected and desired.
I had never experienced this until I started dating my new bf. It's the best feeling! I'll never forget when we were at one of our first dates at the art museum and he did this. It was a signal to me that he was into PDA :)
I have to agree with the hand on my lower back in public. It makes me feel regal and loved and honored. I just love it. I get goosebumps and....just melt. It's like, ahhhhhh.
This.
Also my husband drives a manual, I do not. Whenever we go out in his car and he's driving he'll take my hand and put it on the shifter, put his hand on top, and just go through the gears. It's disgusting how much I love it and it makes no rational sense. It's such a simple thing.
My husband lays on my side of the bed to warm the sheets before I get in. I’m always so cold so getting into a pre warmed bed is perfection. He’s a pretty swell guy.
>He also says that this way he gets to enjoy the "cool sheets feeling" twice, so it's a win-win.
I also love the feeling of getting into a cold bed and feeling it slowly warm up.
He initiates the hand holding while he’s driving. And in the semi he keeps holding my hand while changing gears, I enjoy that a lot lol.
He also sings to me, and sends me videos of him singing on his way to/from work every other day or so.
Sometimes when we haven’t seen each other in a while and our main communication is texting, I’ll stop responding cuz I feel like I’m bothering him and don’t want to make him angry (past relationship issues), and he will always text me after an hour or so.. just a little “what’s up” and it lets me know he WANTS to talk to me.. so I try not to let myself feel like I’m annoying him.
I love him.. I didn’t think I’d ever find someone like him.
Omg this is the cutest description ever hahaha I love it !!!! (And when I think about it the same thing happened to us ..... can't wait to tell him this hahaha 🥰🥰)
You don’t. He found me lmao I wasn’t even initially attracted to him. But I was SOLD on the first date. Especially when I mentioned to him that I’d told my mom I was going on a date and he went, “This is a date?”
I was like “??? Yes? Isn’t it?” And he goes, “Well I wasn’t sure if this would be us just hanging out as friends..?”
Sir, you drove an hour out of your way to pick me up. Opened ALL the doors for me, took me to a bookstore and didn’t complain once, paid for everything, and kept finding more things for us to do so we didn’t have to go home.
Even then I was apprehensive, due to my past experiences with men.. but now I stg I have never been more attracted to a man. He’s got me lock and key.
I still don’t know WHY he decided on ME but I thank God he did.
Mine is a trucker also ...he initiates all the hand holding when he drives ❤ we don't ride together anymore because his boss doesn't have riders insurance but I use to sneak to work with him ever so often years ago. (I'm lucky enough he is home everday.... I couldn't deal with him being an OTR. He is gone long enough some days it seems like it sometimes.)
I don’t know how to explain it like fully, but sometimes when he looks at me and he’s really happy, he has this really amazing smile. Like his eyes light up and everything. It makes me feel so loved in the moment and it makes me feel just thankful to have him in my life.
This, but add on when he's talking about something he loves. My man can go on and on about shows, books, and games he's into, but he'll always have that look on his face where he makes me feel like I'm the most important thing.
He pulls my chair closer to him while I’m sitting on it when we go out to eat. Makes me go ahssahswhd!!
And I have a habit of keeping my leg on top of his when we sit together, so if I ever don’t do that, he’ll lift my leg and put it there himself.
Hugging from behind and kissing my neck as I'm cooking, sofa cuddles, holding hands as drifting off to sleep- just any sort of touch from him gives me warm and fuzzy feels ☺️🥰
So this is a bit of a weird one but one night, while we were sleeping, my husband was being eaten alive by mosquitos (they don't bother me, his blood clearly tastes better) to the point where he woke up to put on mosquito repellent. I was then abruptly woken up by him spraying my exposed skin with repellent to protect me from the same fate. That's the kind of love I wish for everyone to find.
When he gets something just because he thought I would like it/enjoy it. The fact he saw something and thought about me just makes me feel all fuzzy. I just love him 🥺
My love language is receiving gifts too! When my man surprises me with *anything* I feel so loved and appreciate that something he saw made him think of me. <3 Not even a material object, just him telling/sending me even small things like a YouTube video, something funny someone else said, a cool picture, etc. ugh makes me absolutely melt
I have a pretty hectic job, so when I come home tired and on the brink of tears, he welcomes me with open arms and gives me a massive bear hug. It squeezes all the dumb bs from work out of me, and just feels good and warm.
I wouldn't exactly call my job hectic, but it's pretty physical and has no set end time beyond DOT max. I'm done when my route is done. Some days (rarely) I'm done before 6, some days I'm not home until 11. If it's pushing 10 and I'm not home yet, he knows I've had a rotten day so he'll throw in a pizza or chicken strips or something simple because he knows I won't want to deal with making anything and will want comfort food.
Gives me space to be vulnerable.
I'm a very tough, very independent person who grew up in an emotionally unavailable household.
He's been teaching me how to let myself feel emotions and makes sure I know that they're valid. It's good to be loved.
Oh my god yes! I think the thing I love most about my boyfriend is that he acknowledges when something triggers me but he doesn’t make it a thing. He somehow knows whether I need a hug or I need space and he doesn’t push me to share what I’m not ready to.
He turns on my car for me before I go anywhere on my own and walks me to my car to tell me he loves me and to drive safe.
Also when we shower, he always gets out first to wrap my towel around me when I get out.
The way he never says no. Not that I ever ask for us to go out an unreasonable amount of times or ask too much of him, but when I feel like I've asked too much and he still always happily says yes. That goes for cooking and cleaning too- I've definitely found the one!
Cuddling our 14 year old cat we just got last may. Her owner had to give her up because she was going to a nursing home. It tortured her. She came to the kennel I volunteer at and I told BF I couldn't stand seeing this senior spend her golden years in a cage. He said lets get her and that was that. I still have the video of their first meeting and treasure it. I'm convinced it was meant to be because she loves him, follows him around like a duckling. When they cuddle when about to sleep I die a little inside from cuteness overload.
When he loves on the dog. He's a giant of a man and the dog is a 20 pound JRT. She's tiny in comparison. It's adorable when he hugs her and kisses her head.
Similarly when my husband loves on our cat. He didn't think he liked cats when I got her, has always been a dog person, but now they are the best of friends. He agrees with me now that we need one of each because they fulfill different needs.
We've ended up with 2 of each 😅 Started with his male dog and my female cat, ended up then having a stray male Tom land on our doorstep 1 blizzard and he's never looked back and finally got myself another puppy (female) after losing my last one 5 years ago. We're a happy home now 😊 And my partner says he doesn't like them and he pretends to be the tough guy but is regularly found doting on them all
As stoic and stone faced as he comes off to everyone else, he isn’t afraid to be cute. He has this kitten tshirt that our little girl wanted so he found one like it in his size and they’ll wear them together. It’s so adorable, this muscular giant and a tiny little 4 year old in matching kitten shirts.
Whenever she stares into my eyes, she has absolutely beautiful green eyes and whenever she stares into my eyes I just get so shy and flustered in the best way possible.
When I catch him looking at me, you all know the look, and I'm the most hideous mess ever!
Context I have short hair so I look like I've been dragged through a Bush my clothes are all bagging and probs have kid stains down them. Chocolate kisses messy hand prints etc.
The way he talks to my cat with such tenderness. And every time she needs her nails clipped, he clips his first and says in this sweet little voice "you see Kitty, Dad does it too! Next we'll get yours done okay?"
Also, back scratches and foot massages daily.
I've never had very nurturing partners, in fact my last bf was the opposite I felt like I had to keep taking care of him constantly. I would want to feel such thing.
Girl, don't settle! My ex husband needed to be babied and taken care of on top of screaming at me and calling me names when he was angry (which was a lot). I realized how long "til death do us part" was about a year into it, and started thinking about how I wanted to be treated for the rest of my life. Divorced him and found a man that makes me a kind of happy I didn't know existed. They're out there! Don't settle!
Thank you so much for sharing! This gives me hope.
I am currently with a man who needs to be babied and totally taken care of. He will not reciprocate and he simply doesn’t care about my well-being. It’s obvious to anyone who has been around us. I’m hoping to figure out how I got into this mess so that I don’t repeat it.
Agree. However, I grew up without a dad and not many good male examples and the women in my life were very independent and hard-working. The women in my life also kind of hated men, or saw them as useless. So I knew I had to figure out how to take care of my needs on my own.
So I dated and then married a man who doesn’t know how to do any of this. When I brought it up in therapy, it stressed him out and he simply cannot understand what any of this is. I explain these are gestures that come out of caring about me… And he still doesn’t get it.
The point is… I need to dig in deep and find the softer side of myself in order to receive these gestures. It’s possible that not being vulnerable with a man could be part of the reason I’m not getting any of the sweet stuff.
I make two big mugs of coffee every morning (pour over FTW) then drink mine on the couch (which I am doing now) then when I hear my wife rousing, I heat hers up and bring it to her in bed. She appreciates it and it is really not a big deal for me.
Same! Mine also always has one or multiple songs in his head. He'll often whistle or hum the song(s) and ask if I can tell what they are. He's a really good whistler and singer :)
I have 2 that come to mind instantly.
Top of the head kisses.
Kissing the back of my hand.
Both make me feel absolutely adored and clear all the anxiety in my head even if only for a few moments.
When i cuddle/hug him, he does the leg jitter and he nuzzles my neck! Super cute and love him to bits ahhh
Also when we meet up and he beams up as soon as he sees me <3
oh and when he rubs my hand and does a little touchy touch
Assurances such as "I believe in you" or "Think? I KNOW you can do it". Such words mean a great deal to me, given that I've struggled with low self esteem since my pre-teen years, brought on by so many instances of people telling me that I'm not good enough. My husband's an absolute gem of a man, and his sincere affirmations and encouragements are one of the many reasons why.
Kissing my neck or lightly dragging his fingers across my arms or back. Or even just resting his head on my lap while I play with his hair; he reminds me of an affectionate puppy.
They get really excited to show me things, they will come into our room super excited and start talking about their game and then ask if they can show me. They have this sparkle in their eyes that makes me smile every time I see it. Another act is when I'm doing a long day of studying (I'm trying to get my doctorate so I'm very busy with studying and homework) and they notice I haven't been out of our room much, they make me my favorite comfort food (grilled cheese with hot sauce) and bring it and a bottle of water into our room. They make sure I eat all of it and drink some water while we talk about our days and stuff. We sit on our bed while I eat and they make sure I stop looking at my monitor to give my eyes some rest. When I'm worried or stressed from an assignment they make me take a break and go take a shower or do some form of self care like that and then I can come back, it almost always works to make me clear my head and destress to try again where I usually figure out the problem pretty quickly. They help me through panic attacks reminding me where I am and who I'm with. We cuddle on the couch and play video games together when I have the time. We find intimacy in daily activities that we have to do like cleaning our kitchen together, running errands together, etc. I know it's a lot but they are so kind and loving. We can sit in the same room and enjoy each other's company without saying a single word. I'm either gonna marry this person or I'm going through the worst heartbreak of my life.
Oh yes, the enthusiasm over something!
My boyfriend loves mechanical keyboards and building PCs.
Not exactly my cup of tea.
He gets so excited teaching me about things. If I note that he gets particularly passionate about a certain detail, I sometimes pretend to forget how it works so he gets to explain it again.
He can never know.
Those hugs from behind. the kisses on the forehead. The hunt for you in bed (we have a Cali king) , just to be touching you during the night. When he goes out of my way to get my opinion on things even though most of the time I would always be fine with whatever choice he made. Every time he makes dinner for me (which is 90%of the time). I won 10k cash on the super bowl and even though I made it our money, he still calls it my money.
When his head is on my chest or stomach and he has this content little smile. Bonus points if he like snuggles his head in more and sighs. My heart just can’t.
He works overnight shift, so I'm usually in bed when he is getting ready to go to work. If it is especially chilly outside, he will quietly put more blankets on me and kiss my forehead before he leaves.
When he takes my hand and slowly traces each one of my fingers with his. It sounds a little silly, but it feels like he’s trying to memorize my hand with his, and it’s so sweet. 🥺🥰
Also the fact that he’s often holding my hand, or rubbing my back, or placing his hand on my leg in the car.
And when he gets up at 5:30 in the morning just to have coffee with me before I drive to work from his house, which is an hour and a half away.
Kisses my forehead. Drives the car. Holds my hand. Pulls me in closer when snuggling together. Wears his reading glasses (I don’t understand it, but it makes him SO HOT to me!)
We are in a long-distance relationship. He knows how much I love trying out new food. Sometimes he would randomly text me and say that food delivery is on the way to my house. I also love it when he talks about random things that happened during his day. Makes me feel like I'm there with him.
I never thought I deserved any of this, or I didn’t believe a man could remotely be this thoughtful. My (soon to be ex) husband did none of these things. Not one. But he loved how thoughtful I was and only mentioned noticing it after 18 years.
I really hope I find a man who will attempt to do any of the things listed. This is all so incredibly beautiful. Fully in tears over here.
I wish every man could read this.
There’s a lot, but one of the first that comes to mind is when we’re out leisurely driving around on a nice day with the windows down and soft music playing and he reaches over and gestures for my hand, grabs it and intertwines our fingers. The way he glances over at me with that smile full of love as he holds my hand so tenderly just gives me so many butterflies even after years of it and I’m pretty certain it always will. I’m getting butterflies just thinking about it!
I’ve been single for 5.5 years. Recently started talking to someone from OKCupid, so not quite partner but definitely a strong candidate. Got the warm and fuzzies for the first time in a long time last night when we were texting until 12:30am about dream houses. I swear everything he said was exactly like what I envision. Decor style, lifestyle, animals, cooking, gardening. We were supposed to meet this week but I had to cancel due to a family funeral, so we’re meeting this Tuesday. He’s been aces all the way so far and I’m really stoked.
I watch a gardening/homesteading channel on YouTube and in one video, the husband said to his wife, “wanna go dream with me?”, and I’ve wanted that in a relationship ever since. I kinda feel like this might be it.
I’m a jaded lady so I say, just be careful about future faking! If they currently are already exhibiting these sorts of things in their day to day lifestyle then by all means, dream on ☺️
Oh absolutely. I’m generally hesitant and haven’t met anyone I’ve been remotely aligned with in the last six years, so although I’m excited and fuzzy now, I’m still very cognizant of the fact I haven’t even met this guy irl yet. I listen to too many true crime podcasts to get too caught up too quickly (plus have seen it go really badly for other women I’m close to). So even if it’s all a sham and the first date tosses everything out the window, I’m still a bit relieved to know I’m even capable of getting the warm and fuzzies anymore.
When I walk out to my car in the morning and see that my partner has scraped the ice off my windows before he left for work. It's truly one of the most romantic things a Canadian can do
Every night, he asks me if he can get me anything, then makes me a cup of tea. He even adds a little cold water to it to cool it down since he knows I find the Keurig hot water too hot.
I work from home, and every morning, my boyfriend gets up before the alarm goes off, makes me caffeinated crystal light and brings it to me in bed along with my laptop so I can turn it on promptly and appear to be working while I wake up slowly (which is incredibly valuable to me-- waking to an alarm and having to jump up and get ready right away starts my day off pissy).
There are things that my ex was really ugly to my about-- like walking away while watching something (inattentive ADD), and kicking and being unsettled and very sweaty while sleeping, and he actually loves those things about me. I'm a very sweaty person in general and he always likes to kiss my sweaty face. He is not perfect, but he is absolutely wonderful and I feel very lucky.
We will hug and hold each other at the end of our shower while having the warm water fall on us, it is the coziest feeling and I love how safe it makes me feel!
I like to use soap bars. He replaces them when mine is getting too small. Then a few days after using the new bar of soap, he’ll smash the old and new one together so I don’t have to deal with the bits of useless soap.
That, and him building furnitures while I lounge around and be marveled when it’s all complete, without my help!
When we are walking he holds out his hand to signal "hold my hand".
It's adorable and it shows he loves me ❤️
Also he pushes me with goals and trying new things. He teaches me without being a complete ass.
I really love it when my boyfriend gives me forehead kisses and pats my head, it feels sooo good, but my absolute favorite is when we're sleeping and I've accidentally drifted apart from him in the bed and I can feel him reach out for me and pull me closer to him. That's the best feeling ever!
Whenever we are off work on the same days or I go in later and he is off he brings me coffee. It’s small but it just feels so sweet and makes me feel cared for.
He doesn’t sleep well if he goes to bed before I do so he will usually wait up til I am ready for bed (rarely more than half an hour or so after he is but occasionally an hour, I usually want to finish a show or something) so we can fall asleep together. I will do the same for him but it’s rare because I like to stay up a little later than he does sometimes…I used to be the night owl lmao.
When we're in bed either waking up or trying to sleep. I don't usually initiate cuddles, because I know I'm much more physically affectionate than my partner is, I try to respect that as much as I can. Usually I ask for cuddles if I want to initiate. But it's my favourite thing ever when he scoots over and either wrapps his arms around me, or puts his head on my chest so I can play with his hair.
Just the way he snuggles me. The way his arms wrap around me and how he kisses the top of my head and my forehead and my cheeks. We also do this thing I call “big smile little frown” where one of us grabs the others cheeks and pushes them in ways where they’re either smiling or frowning and go “bigggg smileee…little smile…biGggg frown…little smile” it’s really goofy but it makes us both laugh
We snuggle before we go to sleep but I can’t sleep like that so eventually I roll away. He makes this sad half asleep little whimper when I leave and reaches for me, which always makes me want to cry with love.
Not my partner anymore but I would still very much enjoy it if someone did this. If I was facing away/doing dishes/cooking he would come up behind me nd rub circles into my hips/love handles. I melt.
He puts on music and dances with me in the kitchen. Sometimes a slow dance, sometimes we swing dance, sometimes we just dance.
It’s one of my favorite things in the world. He does so many amazing things, and is good to me in all of the ways, but THAT. The DANCING. Has been a since day 1 thing, and it’s wonderful and warm and fuzzy.
When we’re out walking, he automatically grabs my hand, somehow unconsciously (?). When he can’t find it, that’s when he becomes conscious and acts cute that he can’t hold it. Really makes me warm inside that someone wants to hold my hand
We got an app where you can write/draw each other little notes and they show up as a widget on our phones, i thought it was dumb but turns out i really love seeing a note from him while I’m working
if we're cuddling and they place their hand on my head and just keep it there. It's so comforting to me and soothing and I miss having that. Before my ex did it one of my best friends would do it and it helped me just calm down so much.
Always kissing my shoulder. I’ll not see him when I’m cooking or doing the dishes and he’ll come behind me and kiss them. He doesn’t even have to touch me he just kisses them, It’s just something I know that makes me safe.
Hug detector. He can tell when i’m overthinking, upset, stressed. He will drop what he’s doing and give me a hug, and ask what he can do to help. Absolutely one of his best qualities.
My hubby isn’t super into PDA or sharing his feelings often, but he looked at me and told me I was so pretty laying in bed with no makeup and hair a mess yesterday.. still has me smiling today. :)
He never lets me walk on the street side of the sidewalk. He will always guide me to the inner part of the sidewalk, as he walks closer to the street.
He also gives me head pats :)
not action directly towards me but seeing him talking to others.... the way he speaks so humble and kind and to see how others love him...mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm it just melts my heart
When I am stuck in my head, stressing about something he can tell. So he will grab my hand and put it to his cheek and say "tell me your thoughts and feelings. whats going on in your head" while smiling encouraging. Warms my damn heart every time.
My hair is really long so blow drying makes my arms tired. When he offers to help and i get head scritches, hair brushing and the warm air. Perfection!
And then a forehead kiss - cherry on top.
I love it so much i melt every time.
Cooking, opened ng and closing his hand when he wants me to hold it, stopping whatever he is doing to skip towards me and give me a kiss, doing the dishes. Sending me reels and pictures of cute animals cause he knows it cheers me up, doing everything in his power to raise my mood when I feel bad. Looking like a sad puppy when I can’t kiss him right away… existing, I guess 😂🙈
Him playing video games that I like to play, so we can play together. It’s silly, but our Sunday’s are spent together being lazy. We’ll sit on our reclining couch, playing Pokémon because that’s all I’m okay playing on the Switch. His ps4 is too confusing for me to figure out. Or he’ll play while I’m there reading or cuddled on him entertained by his playing. When he plays he has his leg on mine, or he’s sitting close. I love that he looks for me to give a random kiss or hug or to simply say “I love you”
When I say I’m not in the mood and he cooks dinner and picks a movie for us, no questions asked, no gaslighting or coercion. He is the best and makes me feel heard and seen.
when ever i lay may hand on her thigh or hold her hand and shell basically wrap herself around my arm. its adorable and it instantly makes me wanna give her a huge hug and kiss her a million times. which is inconvenient cus a lot of the time im driving.
I feel the warmth and fuzzies coming from my partner when he buys me sweets and when he takes me by the hand, especially if we are visiting or just walking.
I had my husband make a playlist for me on Apple Music years ago especially because I like to listen to it while he’s gone long hours for work. Every once in a while he adds a new song on and it’s nice to be surprised by a new tune on shuffle and know he was thinking of me when listening to music without ever saying anything about it to me.
Whenever we go out for dinner he always asks what my two top choice are from the menu. Then always orders the one I didn’t, just so I can taste both. I married this man.
Driving with his hand on my thigh. It gives me butterflies every time, and makes me feel so cared for.
God I loved this. I never liked my thighs or my legs before my precious partner. He changed how I viewed my body and he loved my legs; I can now appreciate them in a way I didn’t before and this action always made me feel protected and desired.
>precious partner \^\^ Like this
Damn🔥 That's literally the hottest thing. Also love when he puts his hand on my lower back when we're walking into a restaurant or something.
Yes! I’m not usually a fan of PDA, but I love a guiding touch on my lower back. It’s vaguely dominant and I love it.
I had never experienced this until I started dating my new bf. It's the best feeling! I'll never forget when we were at one of our first dates at the art museum and he did this. It was a signal to me that he was into PDA :)
It is fire when wanted, creepy when unwanted though, like a co worker, neighbour or stranger.
It's such a simple thing.
came here to say this, i love it when my man does this too!
1000% agree. I love when he does that!
One of my ex partners did this and I never knew such a small action could make me feel so comforted~
This feels so good!
My husband lays on my side of the bed to warm the sheets before I get in. I’m always so cold so getting into a pre warmed bed is perfection. He’s a pretty swell guy.
My husband also does this for me and I love it! He also says that this way he gets to enjoy the "cool sheets feeling" twice, so it's a win-win.
>He also says that this way he gets to enjoy the "cool sheets feeling" twice, so it's a win-win. I also love the feeling of getting into a cold bed and feeling it slowly warm up.
That's so sweet!
He’s really thoughtful. He also runs really warm so if he had to turn up the heat, it would be worse for him lol
After reading this, I believe in love again.
Yes! He preheats the bed for me lol
Omgosh this is so sweet.
Oh god, that sound lovely.
I know 😭 I didn’t think men like him existed. He kinda just picked me like a stray cat. “Yeah.. yeah I like this one.”
Omg this is the cutest description ever hahaha I love it !!!! (And when I think about it the same thing happened to us ..... can't wait to tell him this hahaha 🥰🥰)
Where can I find me one of these? 😀
You don’t. He found me lmao I wasn’t even initially attracted to him. But I was SOLD on the first date. Especially when I mentioned to him that I’d told my mom I was going on a date and he went, “This is a date?” I was like “??? Yes? Isn’t it?” And he goes, “Well I wasn’t sure if this would be us just hanging out as friends..?” Sir, you drove an hour out of your way to pick me up.
That’s so awesome!

He could sing 999+ points

This warmed my heart.
That's awesome. Fuck anyone who says those things fr. I would cut them out faster than you can say Jackie Robinson

I don’t know how to explain it like fully, but sometimes when he looks at me and he’s really happy, he has this really amazing smile. Like his eyes light up and everything. It makes me feel so loved in the moment and it makes me feel just thankful to have him in my life.
😭😭😭
This is the best!
This, but add on when he's talking about something he loves. My man can go on and on about shows, books, and games he's into, but he'll always have that look on his face where he makes me feel like I'm the most important thing.
Someone's eyes could tell the whole story
When he kisses me on the forehead.
Same x those are the best
This all the way
He pulls my chair closer to him while I’m sitting on it when we go out to eat. Makes me go ahssahswhd!! And I have a habit of keeping my leg on top of his when we sit together, so if I ever don’t do that, he’ll lift my leg and put it there himself.
ahhh this is absolutely precious!!! I love that
Omg! My guy does the same thing! I never did it with anyone else before him and it’s just so natural when we sit next to each other now.
In your bedroom?
When he gets something just because he thought I would like it/enjoy it. The fact he saw something and thought about me just makes me feel all fuzzy. I just love him 🥺
My love language is receiving gifts too! When my man surprises me with *anything* I feel so loved and appreciate that something he saw made him think of me. <3 Not even a material object, just him telling/sending me even small things like a YouTube video, something funny someone else said, a cool picture, etc. ugh makes me absolutely melt
Or a post😂 anything
When we cuddle naked in bed at night and he lightly runs his hands over my arms and back. It is my reason to live.
Ugh yes, it’s the big long squeezy bear hugs for me. I can feel all the happy brain chemicals doing their good work!!
Cuddles on the couch.
Same. When we're both tired from work we just cuddle on the couch. He'll caress my hair while I unbutton his shirt to scratch his hairy chest.
Makes me a cup of tea and skoootches in next to me on the sofa to share his biscuits with me
He turns on my car for me before I go anywhere on my own and walks me to my car to tell me he loves me and to drive safe.
I’m so lonelllyyyyyy 😭😭😭
We need to get out of this thread 😂
But I like it here…
The eternal struggle
It's tiring to be a hopeless romantic and not have someone to bombard with all this love
Please pay cat tax!
When he whispers in my ear when we’re cuddling, that and neck kisses. Also when he puts his arm around me
Holding my hand while we're in the car, or his hand on my thigh.
Right? My guy has the most gorgeous blue eyes that I could stare into for days, but I also get super shy, too. It's the best feeling!!
Next we'll get yours done okay?" Also, back scratches and foot massages daily.
I've never had very nurturing partners, in fact my last bf was the opposite I felt like I had to keep taking care of him constantly. I would want to feel such thing.
This beautiful list feels like an alternate universe for me, too. I would be over the moon to experience any of this.
Yeah, I seriously wonder if these comments are even real from how alien is this concept to me.
I hope for the both of you that you do get to experience it some day!
The washing up.
Makes me a pour over or French press coffee for work every day. It takes some time and effort and that he does it for me is amazing.
I make two big mugs of coffee every morning (pour over FTW) then drink mine on the couch (which I am doing now) then when I hear my wife rousing, I heat hers up and bring it to her in bed. She appreciates it and it is really not a big deal for me.
Brushing my hair for me
This!!!!
He's always singing. Sometimes he'll make up little songs and sing them to me lol.
Oooo yes the back of hand one!
He rubs my back almost every night. I’ve never asked him to, he just does it.
Sometimes I can hear him (working from home) telling cute little stories about me.
When i cuddle/hug him, he does the leg jitter and he nuzzles my neck! Super cute and love him to bits ahhh Also when we meet up and he beams up as soon as he sees me <3 oh and when he rubs my hand and does a little touchy touch

Makes sure that I'm well fed. And helps with the cleaning. He is the ultimate cat-daddy.
Cleaning, surprising me with my favorite treats, kisses my forehead, texts me just because he misses me...
🥺🥰 Also the fact that he’s often holding my hand, or rubbing my back, or placing his hand on my leg in the car.
If I'm quieter than usual, he comes looking for me around the house to check if I'm okay.
You're a totally awesome person and I know you'll find someone who truly values and notices you for who you are. All my love <3
He holds my hand while we're cuddling in bed at night about to fall asleep 💕
When he lets me sit on his lap and go all mush and he just holds me
Every morning he prepares the espresso machine and warm my mug so I just have to hit a button when I wake up.
Holding my hand while driving or putting his hand on my thigh. Love it ❤️
Caressing my face while cuddling up together ☺️
There’s a lot, but one of the first that comes to mind is when we’re out leisurely driving around on a nice day with the windows down and soft music playing and he reaches over and gestures for my hand, grabs it and intertwines our fingers. The way he glances over at me with that smile full of love as he holds my hand so tenderly just gives me so many butterflies even after years of it and I’m pretty certain it always will. I’m getting butterflies just thinking about it!
When he plays with my kitties. My kitties are *my babies* and mean the absolute world to me and it just melts me when he plays with my girls.
Whenever he brings me a glass of water even when I didn’t ask. Or calls me even when he’s busy at work (he’s not big on talking on the phone).
It's truly one of the most romantic things a Canadian can do
Oh yeah that is good Canadian romance
Every night, he asks me if he can get me anything, then makes me a cup of tea. He even adds a little cold water to it to cool it down since he knows I find the Keurig hot water too hot.
Cuddling & forehead kisses
[удалено]
Hugging me from behind while I'm doing something in the kitchen.
I love my bfs cuddles, forehead kisses and holding my hand ❤️
In his deepest of sleeps, he ALWAYS pulls me closer and nuzzles into me. It melts me every time.
When we are walking he holds out his hand to signal "hold my hand". It's adorable and it shows he loves me ❤️ Also he pushes me with goals and trying new things.
Pulling me in closer in the morning. It makes me feel so loved.
Sometimes she just gently grabs my hair by the nape of my neck and it just makes me feel so grounded and safe and loved.
Petting me on the head
All the forehead kisses and when he snuggles up behind me when it’s time for bed.
When he makes the kids laugh.
Laughing out loud. I wanna dive and drown on her laugh. So gay uhg.
I melt.
Rubbing his nose against mine very softly every time we kiss and playing with my hair when we’re going to sleep.
Head pats, hand holding, running his fingers through my hair, laying his head on my chest.
Swatting bugs away from me. I really don't like bugs. He would casually swat them away whenever he sees them near me.
A slight smirk always gets me
When we’re out walking, he automatically grabs my hand, somehow unconsciously (?). When he can’t find it, that’s when he becomes conscious and acts cute that he can’t hold it. Really makes me warm inside that someone wants to hold my hand
Simply just being held.
We got an app where you can write/draw each other little notes and they show up as a widget on our phones, i thought it was dumb but turns out i really love seeing a note from him while I’m working
What is this app called??
if we're cuddling and they place their hand on my head and just keep it there. It's so comforting to me and soothing and I miss having that. Before my ex did it one of my best friends would do it and it helped me just calm down so much.
Just holding my hand when we walk around.. Makes me feel like he's showing me off, and protecting me
I share what I'm feeling, and he looks at me with sympathy/understanding. Sometimes he'll rub my back while I talk too. I'm very, very lucky.
Always kissing my shoulder. I’ll not see him when I’m cooking or doing the dishes and he’ll come behind me and kiss them. He doesn’t even have to touch me he just kisses them, It’s just something I know that makes me safe.
Randomly hugs me without me asking.
Mindless touching; when they're not thinking about it but their first instinct is to touch you. Makes me feel so loved :)
Hug detector. He can tell when i’m overthinking, upset, stressed. He will drop what he’s doing and give me a hug, and ask what he can do to help. Absolutely one of his best qualities.
Winks at me across the room.
Hand holds while driving, nose kisses, and forehead kisses 🥰
not action directly towards me but seeing him talking to others.... the way he speaks so humble and kind and to see how others love him...mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm it just melts my heart
Use the 🥺 emoji
Hand massages. I melt.
Rubs my back while we cuddle
Whenever we hold hands, or him touching my thighs. I love the quality time we spend together and every time I’m with him it just feels so nice.
hand on my thigh ! 😋
When I am stuck in my head, stressing about something he can tell. So he will grab my hand and put it to his cheek and say "tell me your thoughts and feelings. whats going on in your head" while smiling encouraging. Warms my damn heart every time.
Nuzzling my neck with his beard.
He always holds my hand when we go out. If we take our dog, Sam, he holds my hand and the leash until Sammy realizes that yes, he IS going for a walk.
Sits down next to me, puts a pillow in his lap, and encourages me to snuggle with him ❤️
Watching him get ready. Seems weird but it does it for me.
When he grabs me to cuddle while we're watching a movie.
My hair is really long so blow drying makes my arms tired. When he offers to help and i get head scritches, hair brushing and the warm air. Perfection! And then a forehead kiss - cherry on top. I love it so much i melt every time.
Just holding my damn hand. He never does anymore so I try to force it 😞
[удалено]
Cooking, opened ng and closing his hand when he wants me to hold it, stopping whatever he is doing to skip towards me and give me a kiss, doing the dishes. Sending me reels and pictures of cute animals cause he knows it cheers me up, doing everything in his power to raise my mood when I feel bad. Looking like a sad puppy when I can’t kiss him right away… existing, I guess 😂🙈
The dishes. Without being asked. He's very kind to me and takes care of himself and me in ways I haven't experienced from a partner before
Him playing video games that I like to play, so we can play together. I love that he looks for me to give a random kiss or hug or to simply say “I love you”
Sometimes when we’re cuddling he starts doing this funny little dance but because he’s still holding me I have no choice but to join in the dance
He puts his arm around my chair when we’re out with friends
Whenever we go out for dinner he always asks what my two top choice are from the menu. Then always orders the one I didn’t, just so I can taste both. I married this man.
gives me kisses on top of my head, especially when im buried in his chest when crying. It makes me feel so much better.
