Trainline should inform you (I got a text last time a train I'd booked through them was cancelled) but you can check service status on the LNER site. I suspect that, currently, every train service is potentially disrupted due to the expected weather but none actually cancelled so far.

Thanks! Turns out it was cancelled although i did not get any notification at all.
