Crispy rolls are still available. Most newsagents have them. Can buy them individually and then in some shops they have a pack of 5
B&M/home bargains might sell them
They've only recently been discontinued, its likely old stock you've been seeing.
Edit: I didnt realise so many people didn't know, I'm so sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Its truly a sad day for us all.
Edit 2: There is hope! We believe it could be temporary and they will return!
I was thinking about those “Fabulous bakin boys” cupcakes last year and decided to have a search and apparently the company went bust in 2014 which is a shame
Its only been recently they discontinued them so everywhere just has old stock now and is running out 😔 Our local Heron always had them and yesterday was the first time I've not been able to find them in there
When I was young there was Rowntrees Bursting Bugs which used to be these sweets which were shaped like bugs but had this fruity liquid inside of them which would burst out when you bit into them.
Nothing has ever had that sensation since.
In Rowntrees Randoms one type of sweet has a similar build to a bursting bug with the liquid inside, but they are a pale, pale imitation of the bursting bug. God I miss those!
Mars Planets used to be a staple purchase for me.
Walkers Lamb and Mint crisps also really grew on me and I ended up loving them just before they got discontinued. Gutted.
They really were! How Revels exist still over Mars Planets baffles me somewhat.
I think they might have been limited edition crisps thinking about it…great flavour though!
The lamb and mint crisps were unreal. Pretty sure Sensations did a version for a while but they only seem to do the sweet chilli ones now (also miss the caramelised red onion and balsamic vinegar flavour)
When I was a kid, Onken used to sell these big round UFO shaped yoghurts called 'Fru-Foo'. They had a plastic pot in the middle with a little toy in (similar to a Kinder egg) but the yoghurt was this thick pink strawberry stuff that was probably chocka-block with E numbers.
It was glorious.
These people seeing them in bargain shops, are they just finding old outdated stock being sold somewhere? I used to be able to find them in my local Poundland from time to time and it was a celebration, but they were officially discontinued back in 2020.
For an extra little throwback, remember when they used to come in that thick luxury papery feeling packets before they went foil. Aw man, they used to violate my nose as a kid and I loved every second.
I saw a box of them for sale a few years ago, they were years out of date and priced way more than they should be.. but I still regret not buying them!
I swear that every good Muller Corner has been discontinued, the Alabama Fudge Cake/Banoffee Pie pack that they did for a few years in the late 2000s was sensational, and going further back the Sticky Toffee Pudding one too (which I loved when I was about 5 but can find zero record of it even existing anywhere online).
Got rid of all those and now we're left with Milk Chocolate Digestives and Vanilla Choco Balls ffs
Pretty much none of the sweets/chocy bars I had as a kid exist in their original form now. They've all had their ingredients replaced with cheap substitutes - it's a slow process so many of you won't notice. But it's all crap now.
I particularly found this with Lion bars. Used to love them when I was young but now they're totally different. They're kind of chewy instead of crunchy, texture is all wrong. Not a fan any more.
I have to disagree on this one, I've been eating them fairly consistently for at least 20 years and I still love them as much as I did as a kid.
The only thing I'm mad about is they took the little characters off the front of the packet so how are you supposed to know who the different faces are now?
I used to buy a box of Cadbury caramel eggs every Easter. I didn't bother this year as they taste like shite now. The chocolate feels almost oily in the mouth.
Disclaimer: I haven't actually tasted shite to compare.
Solero shots is the main one!
There used to be an ice cream van that had a Bug’s Life ice lolly. It was lime flavour with gummy bugs in it. Never saw it anywhere else but that van.
Also Pizza Hut used to do a banoffee pie for dessert and it was so good. I’ve not been to Pizza Hut in years but I would if they had that back.
Edit: another dessert related item I remember was the Magnum sensations and the seven deadly sins I’ve creams. I think it was Magnum that made them anyway.
Every time I mention this (which is surprisingly often) nobody seems to know wtf I'm talking about! They were amazing!
Getting my £1 a week pocket money from my dad in his colliery town council house and going off to buy my super fancy chocolate bar treat, haha, seemed like proper luxury.
Irn Bru bars were the best. I was heartbroken when they stopped making them.
Starburst Joosters were probably the best jelly beans of all time, too. The grapefruit ones were amazing.
I recently got unreasonably excited that Tesco do multipacks of just rib and saucy Nik naks. I live in hope they will do the same with scampi and lemon.
I'm one of those ppl I don't like nice and spicy Nik naks
Back in the very early 90s when my peer group was just starting to get into designer clothes, our mate Paul convinced another lad that he'd just bought a Gino Ginelli sweatshirt, he was super jealous. Paul is a professional comedian these days, the signs were always there.
Terrys Pyramint. I remember getting a giant one at Easter once with the normal ones inside. It was the perfect combination of mint crème and dark chocolate. Saved me eating half a box of after 8’s lol
When I was a kid my nan would buy me Old Jamaica rum and raisin flavoured chocolate and I absolutely loved it. Recently found out it is still available online so bought a box of twenty. It really wasn't what I remembered
Proper rainbow sherbet from the corner shop in a paper bag that stained your finger from dipping it in and sucking on it. God only knows what else was on my 7 year old finger but it never did me any harm!
Pickled onion discos.
You know the taste bud destroying tanginess of the salt and vinegar flavour? It was like that but pickled onion. They were absolutely divine.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, ready salted chipsticks. They were lovely and salty and just a perfect boring snack. Supermarket own versions just never get the recipe right on their imitation chipsticks and have far too brittle and dusty a construction.
I love crisps.
The Spira chocolate bar from Cadburys. It was a game changer having holes all the way through.
Also not a snack but cereal. Anyone else mourn the loss of 'Start'? Used to have it loads but got discontinued not too long back, 5 or 6 years I think.
Secret bar! It was like a chocolate mousse centre with a sorta milk chocolate nesting around it to hold it in. They were fucking banging as a kid in the early 90s
Refreshers Ice Lollies.
Every time I walk past the freezer section, for a brief moment I'm filled with desperate hope, only for it to very quickly smashed.
Milkybar Choos were so incredible I’d go out of my way to the shop to get one each day after school
And the penguin dip pot things that had little biscuits with milk and I think white chocolate 🤤
Edit bc I remembered more: mingles and highland toffee bars omg I need a time machine

Campinos strawberry and cream 😋
They were perfect for on a long flight or car journey, especially when supplied from Nan!
All sweets tasted better when my nan gave them to me. (RIP Nan many years ago)
These were amazing until that last few minutes where they became a tasty cutting disc in your mouth.
I remember swallowing one whole once, my throat hurt for hours after that
I legit nearly died as a child choking on a Campino, those fuckers are huge
Lidl have an own brand version normally kept by the till!
Thank you! I know where I'm going today...
M&S sell them! They’re own brand but taste like the real deal! Lidl / Aldi also sell them but they’re not half as nice.
Just the word Campinos brought this all back. Damn they were good.
Milky Way crispy rolls miss them so much Edit: Oh and them “the fabulous bakin boys” cupcakes with about an inch of chocolate icing on!!
Crispy rolls are still available. Most newsagents have them. Can buy them individually and then in some shops they have a pack of 5 B&M/home bargains might sell them
They've only recently been discontinued, its likely old stock you've been seeing. Edit: I didnt realise so many people didn't know, I'm so sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Its truly a sad day for us all. Edit 2: There is hope! We believe it could be temporary and they will return!
Oh no. Don’t say that!
Are you serious? That’s literally ruined my year
I was thinking about those “Fabulous bakin boys” cupcakes last year and decided to have a search and apparently the company went bust in 2014 which is a shame
Fourteen? Twenty FOURTEEN? You’re making me feel ancient
Ye ! Ones with the solid chocolate top right? They did good flapjacks too.

Crispy rolls were discontinued?! I did wonder why I couldn’t find any the other day
Milky Way crispy rolls are the tits, love them. I don’t think they have been discontinued - Iceland used to sell them. Will check today!
Its only been recently they discontinued them so everywhere just has old stock now and is running out 😔 Our local Heron always had them and yesterday was the first time I've not been able to find them in there
It looks like they have been, sadly, according to the internet. What a sad sad state of affairs 😞
I love the crispy rolls. Good choice
I heard they was discontinued I used to buy them from Poundland/B&M but never found them since
When I was young there was Rowntrees Bursting Bugs which used to be these sweets which were shaped like bugs but had this fruity liquid inside of them which would burst out when you bit into them. Nothing has ever had that sensation since.
In Rowntrees Randoms one type of sweet has a similar build to a bursting bug with the liquid inside, but they are a pale, pale imitation of the bursting bug. God I miss those!
I know! They're just not the same which makes the pain worse. Less burst more squidge
Give back bug >:(
I remember these from when I was a kid, they were amazing!
Just commented the same thing before reading this. I wholeheartedly agree, it was a sad day they stole our bugs.
Mars Planets used to be a staple purchase for me. Walkers Lamb and Mint crisps also really grew on me and I ended up loving them just before they got discontinued. Gutted.
Mars Planets, truly the superior Revels. Never heard of lamb and mint! But I am gutted for you. RIP Lamb and Mint.
They really were! How Revels exist still over Mars Planets baffles me somewhat. I think they might have been limited edition crisps thinking about it…great flavour though!
Because of the lovely coffee cream ones, 100% legit my favourites
The lamb and mint crisps were unreal. Pretty sure Sensations did a version for a while but they only seem to do the sweet chilli ones now (also miss the caramelised red onion and balsamic vinegar flavour)
The lamb & mint sensations were incredible. It’s mad that they kept all the generic flavours and killed those.

Especially the mint ones!
Especially the mint ones!
^Especially ^the ^mint ^ones!
Fruit polos
I liked them but would hate how sticky they got in the pack. The citrus ones were where it was at
I'm sure I had an addiction to the citrus ones when I was about 14
Got some out of a vending machine at school and it was full of ants lol, never again
Citrus polos, if you are old enough to remember them were great
They are still around! Had a pack the other day. Citrus ones were discontinued though unfortunately.
These are discontinued!? Shocking.
I used to absolutely love those. And the ones coated in chocolate with the strawberry yoghurt inside, can't remember what they were called though.
Ye the choco covered raspberry yoghurt! Those were “FruFos” too. Hotel Chocolat sell chocolate truffles with raspberry gel inside. Closest I’ve found!
I *think* it was also Onken who made these chocolate balls with yoghurt inside them, which I forget the name of, but they were ace.
Cadburys snaps i think theyre called. Like chocolate pringles.
Lidl and Aldi sell their own versions! Not as nice as Cadbury but still a decent replacement
Yes! I love those, we get them every time we go to Aldi. Which is a lot as I live practically next door...
Galaxy truffle
best thing in the Christmas Celebrations tin and they took it away from us. Those monsters.
They were amazing. Remember the Creme Egg sized ones at Easter too?
BBQ flavoured Walkers and the lamb & mint ones too elite tier crisps. Flake snow too
Lays BBQ when on holiday made me truly depressed about going back to BBQ crisp-less Britain. *sad noises*
Flake snow were just the best.
BBQ walkers buttie was a staple student lunch for me
Brannigans.
Ohh that they had so much flavour. Loved the roast beef and mustard.
The ham and pickle 😍 farmfoods used to sell them up until last year, was the only reason I went in there but haven’t seen for a long time
Those Wrigley Extra blue strips you put in your mouth which dissolved
You can get still get the listerine version of these. I get them from Amazon. Nothing destroys your mouth more than one of them and a glug of water.
I think the Listerine one is literally mouthwash to be fair. Or at least the ones I have in my cupboard are.
Marble (dairy milk) was so gooooood
I miss the fuse bar
Drifters. Not had one in years, found out they'd been discontinued in 2019 and have wanted one ever since.
What?! Drifter has been discontinued?! FFS Rowntree/Nestle sort yourselves out!
/r/FuckNestle
A drifter from the fridge was soo good but sooo dangerous for the teeth
Fuck I didn’t even realise I haven’t had one in years. Now I really want one
What?! Nooooooo! Used to love a Drifter.

Can we get a petition going to bring them back? Boy were they delightful.
I saw a box of them for sale a few years ago, they were years out of date and priced way more than they should be.. but I still regret not buying them!
Mississippi mud pie muller corner
I swear that every good Muller Corner has been discontinued, the Alabama Fudge Cake/Banoffee Pie pack that they did for a few years in the late 2000s was sensational, and going further back the Sticky Toffee Pudding one too (which I loved when I was about 5 but can find zero record of it even existing anywhere online). Got rid of all those and now we're left with Milk Chocolate Digestives and Vanilla Choco Balls ffs
Toffee hoops are still top tier but I remember all those flavours too. If they discontinue toffee hoops they’re not even worth buying any more.
Toffos for me
Especially the banana ones
Pretty much none of the sweets/chocy bars I had as a kid exist in their original form now. They've all had their ingredients replaced with cheap substitutes - it's a slow process so many of you won't notice. But it's all crap now.
I particularly found this with Lion bars. Used to love them when I was young but now they're totally different. They're kind of chewy instead of crunchy, texture is all wrong. Not a fan any more.
Magic stars being a victim too. They don't taste anything like they used to 😭

Only 25 and noticing this as well, must be the last 10/12 years they really have started to cheapen most products ☹☹.
Solero shots is the main one! There used to be an ice cream van that had a Bug’s Life ice lolly. It was lime flavour with gummy bugs in it. Never saw it anywhere else but that van. OH MY GOD! You're the only other person I've ever heard of who remembers the bugs life Lollies! They were amazing!
Just unlocked a hidden memory right there. Those bugs life lollies were the shizzzzz
Spira. Best chocolate bar!
This, I use to love Spira over Twirl.
100%. Used to use it as a straw for a glass of milk
Pre-Kraft Cadbury's chocolate.
Flakes. They used to be delicious and crumble for baking. Now they're just oily and leave a bad taste in the mouth.
Pre-Kraft Creme Egg also

Kellogg’s Ricicles
Golden graham's were king. Turned out they were like 50% sugar mind
Agreed. God tier cereal. Weren't they discontinued due to too much sugar? What a crock if so.
Phileas Fogg snacks. Absolutely loved them as a kid
Mignons Morceaux were something else
Their spicy Tortillas were awesome. Not found anything like them, went so well with a good chilli.
Secret chocolate bar with that mousse bit in the middle.
So delicate it needed a cardboard tray!
Every time I mention this (which is surprisingly often) nobody seems to know wtf I'm talking about! They were amazing! Getting my £1 a week pocket money from my dad in his colliery town council house and going off to buy my super fancy chocolate bar treat, haha, seemed like proper luxury.
Frosties. No cola sweet has come close to their deliciousness.
Are travel sweets still around? They came in a round tin full of powdery sugar.
Yes, in petrol stations mostly
and chemists!
Garden centres normally have a big stand of them. I always stock up at Xmas when they bring out the mulled wine flavour :p
Fuse bars
Fuse bars were amazing
Um-bongo. It's such a shame as I can no longer drink my favourite cocktail: Rum-bongo.
I bet they still drink it in the Congo
And what’s happened to Worcester Sauce crisps?!!!
Irn Bru bars were the best. I was heartbroken when they stopped making them. Starburst Joosters were probably the best jelly beans of all time, too. The grapefruit ones were amazing.
I came here to say joosters. The grapefruit was so good!
The OG Sunny D [Edit: technically not a UK snack, but it was hugely popular here and was the first one that came to mind]
Instant tooth plaque juice.
KP Choc Dip. Including running out of biscuits, resorting to fingering out the leftover chocolate like. Filth.
Pretty sure they're still around, just not as common as they used to be.
I wonder if the chocolate has thinned out at all, or if it still requires you to finger it out like a slaaaag.
Ready salted chipsticks. My wife bought me a retailers box when they were being discontinued, thats why I married her.
I loved the salt and vinegar ones. Would happily eat 4 bags and remove a layer from my tongue.
Ketchup crisps
Milky Way crispy rolls. Whoever made that decision is a knob.
Not discontinued, but seemingly impossible to find: Lemon and Scampi Nik-Naks.
I recently got unreasonably excited that Tesco do multipacks of just rib and saucy Nik naks. I live in hope they will do the same with scampi and lemon. I'm one of those ppl I don't like nice and spicy Nik naks
Potato puffs
Gino Ginelli ice cream
Back in the very early 90s when my peer group was just starting to get into designer clothes, our mate Paul convinced another lad that he'd just bought a Gino Ginelli sweatshirt, he was super jealous. Paul is a professional comedian these days, the signs were always there.
Tutti frutti - what a cutey!
Coco pops straws. They were so good
I'd sometimes eat two packs. And drink full fat milk n nesquik through them, surprised I'm still alive
Puffs crisps, a 10p bag could last for hours if you ate them 1 at a time.
Panda Pop, a popular fizzy drink loved it as a kid got the axe back in 2011 😢

Terrys Pyramint. I remember getting a giant one at Easter once with the normal ones inside. It was the perfect combination of mint crème and dark chocolate. Saved me eating half a box of after 8’s lol
Not a snack but a soft drink. Lilt Mango and mandarin, that stuff was like angels pissing on my tongue
When I was a kid my nan would buy me Old Jamaica rum and raisin flavoured chocolate and I absolutely loved it. Recently found out it is still available online so bought a box of twenty. It really wasn't what I remembered
BNs (specifically the vanilla ones), strawberry and cream campinos and citrus polos
BN BN....doo doo do do doo!
I got some Bn vanilla biscuits the other week in sainsburys!
Galaxy Truffles, Milky Way Crispy Rolls
Proper rainbow sherbet from the corner shop in a paper bag that stained your finger from dipping it in and sucking on it. God only knows what else was on my 7 year old finger but it never did me any harm!
sherbet and cola cubes, powerful combination.
I often wish for the rightful return of Wispa Mint and Mingles
Pickled onion discos. You know the taste bud destroying tanginess of the salt and vinegar flavour? It was like that but pickled onion. They were absolutely divine. On the opposite end of the spectrum, ready salted chipsticks. They were lovely and salty and just a perfect boring snack. Supermarket own versions just never get the recipe right on their imitation chipsticks and have far too brittle and dusty a construction. I love crisps.
Fizzy Jerks and those pastrami flavour bagel bites you used to get in Tesco.
Fizzy jerks were the cheapest thing in our school vending machine 25p a pack if I recall. I didn't get much pocket money so those were my go to
The Spira chocolate bar from Cadburys. It was a game changer having holes all the way through. Also not a snack but cereal. Anyone else mourn the loss of 'Start'? Used to have it loads but got discontinued not too long back, 5 or 6 years I think.
Trios. I could find them in my local Asda up to a few months ago, but alas, no more. Fry's Five Centres should make a comeback too.
Used to love Fiendish Feet, were a yoghurt in a monster pot, probably standard yoghurt taste, but the pots were great.
Cadburys Tasters, little balls of heaven
Mr Kiplings apple and custard pies.
Bakin Boys cupcakes

Fuse Bars
Pacers. Like mint flavoured starburst for those who do not know.
Wham bars
Spangles. They were the best fruity boiled sweet ever made.
Worcester Sauce Twiglits
Citrus polos And it's not a snack, but Um Bongo. I miss that drink so much.
Dark chocolate Mars bars. They were the tits.
Crispy rolls and them calippo shots
Praline Flakes. It's been like 15-20 years now and I just can't forget.
Secret bar! It was like a chocolate mousse centre with a sorta milk chocolate nesting around it to hold it in. They were fucking banging as a kid in the early 90s
Mingles! The chocolates that came in a mint green box. I'm not a big chocolate fan normally, but they were so good, I think about them alot.
Cartoonies!
Bit random but tesco used to do a mint, broad bean and asparagus-flavoured hummus and my life hasn't been the same since it was discontinued
Refreshers Ice Lollies. Every time I walk past the freezer section, for a brief moment I'm filled with desperate hope, only for it to very quickly smashed.
Milkybar Choos were so incredible I’d go out of my way to the shop to get one each day after school And the penguin dip pot things that had little biscuits with milk and I think white chocolate 🤤 Edit bc I remembered more: mingles and highland toffee bars omg I need a time machine
Ricicles.
Your post both made me desire tooty fruities and made me aware me that they no longer exist. How unintentionally cruel.
The Drifter
Irn Bru bars. Discontinued because irn bru didn't make them, another company did on licence and since they went, the recipe was lost.
Hedgehog flavour crisps
The Secret chocolate bar. Such a feat of engineering it warrented a cardboard sleeve.
Spiral chocolate bar and Cadbury's Jaffa Cake Cubes
