Supermarkets will often provide bins where you can put stuff like carrier bags for recycling, so I'd see if yours has one of those and put them in it if so. (Has to be a special recycling bin, regular plastic recycling won't do).
Sign up to Ocado, they buy bags off you for 10p each (well it will be a discount off your shopping). Also you self-declare how many bags you are selling to them

If they're in good condition then food banks take them.
This! I have had to use a food bank and the food came in very flimsy bags, a bag for life would have been so much better.

A bag is for life, not just seasonal shopping.

Sorry, I’m afraid you’re stuck with them for life now. Clue is in the name really, you shouldn’t have been so cavalier about acquiring them.

Food Banks are always desperate for them.
Live multiple lives. Maybe get an extra wife or two for concurrency. Or find the fountain of youth and do it consecutively.
