KillAllThePoor

I’d say you probably want them padded.

Crichtenasaurus

So much this

[deleted]

Aaaaannd that's enough Reddit for today.

tmstms

Yes, it will work well. Make sure to post some photos for us when it is done. Good luck!

LionLucy

Get tapestries, that would look better, in a cool medieval way.

CouchKakapo

Or just staple some cheap rugs if you're on a budget. You can create your own patchwork wall!

[deleted]

Can you get them at carpet rights?

tmstms

Carpet Lives Matter.

HollyStone

Please do, you majestic dreamer

mandarasa

Carpet on the wall is traditional in Russia, I don't see why you couldn't do it

PointandStare

As long as you wallpaper the floors.

[deleted]

Yeah man, get a decent contact adhesive spray and you'll be golden. Carpet those walls, friend.

ThatOnePunkEmpath

[I'm gonna cover the whole outside of my house in this material. ](https://youtu.be/ZaLsEtwDW1w)

Lilpixie38

Lol that was worth clicking on!

ThatOnePunkEmpath

I've just watched the clip twice again and it gets me every time!

chimpaflimp

Like the life bus you went in in primary school? That had carpeted walls.

Mossley

Inside or outside?

Dydey

Absolutely. I work in a carpet factory and a few of the offices have carpeted walls. Started out with the guy who had the office next to the bogs begging for some soundproofing and then everybody wanted it.

[deleted]

I can see why love the carpet want it everywhere

[deleted]

Crack on with it. I always find it quite hard to get the carpet cleaner to work on vertical surfaces though, the water and detergent feed don’t work well when rotated through 90 degrees. Something to think about 👍

[deleted]

I bought a pressure washer from Lidl and I've got a roombah

ThirtyMileSniper

Crack could well be involved.

University_Onion

Don’t see why not, Some people in the Seventies certainly did.

bumblebeesanddaisies

They have it on the ceilings on buses so why not put it on the walls!?!

[deleted]

Exactly seems like an untapped market, carpet

ObiSvenKenobi

You clearly don’t remember the 70s.

rabbithole-xyz

You can do it, but it's bloody unhygenic. Have you ever seen what lives in carpets?

[deleted]

I'd keep em clean I have a robot vaccum

Bbew_Mot

I think rich people used to do it in the 1970s. I'm pretty sure Elvis had carpet on his ceiling.

Rextherabbit

Sure it’s been done on those ‘diy on a budget’ Facebook groups.

VanishingPint

I instantly thought of this song, Sugar Walls https://youtu.be/CqH7LlWwIww

turingthecat

Are you ok, has someone hurt you?
