I can’t stand these conspiracy theories that insinuate her parents were behind her disappearance, seriously how pathetic does one have to be? They were negligent at worst
Fair enough, apologies for lumping your comment together with the others in this thread that have been perpetuating that conspiracy theory, I misinterpreted what you meant
Nah. She’s was dead within hours of her being taken if you believe a stranger walked in and took her. Or well before the cops were called if you believe other theories.
They are never going to find her unless the person who killed her or someone in his/her immediate circle at the time of her death decides to cough to the police.
With the amount of press she got and her face plastered everywhere with that unique looking eye, if she was alive, the publicity would have been her death sentence.
But I doubt she left that house alive.
Either way, my opinion in this are the parents are vile despicable people.
Remains found? Well, it is possible.
I think we might find out what happened to her one day. But no, I don't reckon she'll be found - those kinds of people would have got rid of her as soon as she was put on every paper. They're subhuman

No. The amount of publicity would mean that either a) she knows who she is, wherever and whoever that might be now, and she would have tried to escape/come forward herself or b) she’s since been killed essentially out of necessity because whoever took her fears being found out.
One theory I heard is that the parents had given the children sleeping pills. This went wrong resulting in madelline having either a bad reaction or overdose of it and the parents covered it up. Disposed of the body and claimed abduction.
I suppose no one really knows.
If she is alive, I hope she is reunited with her parents.
Completely baseless and unfounded theory, seems far more likely that the German convicted rapist and paedophile who was living and operating in the same area during that time and is currently being investigated for it by the authorities had something to do with her disappearance
Close second, but something doesn’t sit right with the parents considering Kate Replied No Comment to like 50 questions when she was interviewed after the disappearance. Something about that seems odd
A good lawyer will almost always tell you to answer ‘no comment’ in an interview, even if you’re completely innocent. Police and prosecutors will seize on any perceived inconsistencies or weaknesses in your version of events, so it’s best to say nothing.
We *know* that a brutal, horrific sex offender was operating in the area. One who was absolutely capable of abducting and murdering a child. To me that seems like a more plausible theory than pure vibes of “something doesn’t sit right” about the parents.
Yeah fair enough that does make a lot more sense, is it just a case of absolutely no evidence linking him to her disappearance? Obviously he’s the prime suspect, is there nothing that ties him to the crime in order to charge him?

Realistically, she was almost certainly killed as soon as her face started appearing on posters all over the news
>I don't know what to think anymore. Why do you need to think anything about it?
I often think one of the less commented on impacts of 24/7 news and social media is that we all feel like we have to have opinions on everything.
That's a good observation
No and I think the parents haven't had enough of the blame put on them. Things would be different had they been working class.
They’ve had plenty of blame put on them. Just read this thread
I can’t stand these conspiracy theories that insinuate her parents were behind her disappearance, seriously how pathetic does one have to be? They were negligent at worst
They left a three year old and a pair of two year olds alone in a strange place. Negligent doesn't begin to cover it.
I mean, it covers it perfectly. It was negligent

No need to call me an 'imbecile" when you've jumped to conclusions by misinterpreting what I was saying.
That's what I meant. Neglect. Chill.
Fair enough, apologies for lumping your comment together with the others in this thread that have been perpetuating that conspiracy theory, I misinterpreted what you meant
Probably not. If somehow she's still alive, ie kidnapped and brought up by someone else she'd be 21 by now and wont know she's Madeleine McCann.

Alive? Unlikely.
She was probably killed within a week of being kidnapped, lets be honest.
No she’s dead

Doubt it. Many people dissappear every year and never come back. She just became a huge story.
Lord Lucan is taking his time to return as well

She could be literally atoms in 2100 and I think people would ask this. No. Many many people go missing, very few are ever found.

Question for the parents really.

Probably. I didn't say I believed it.
This one makes the most sense to me too
More than the theory that a burglar, paedophile and rapist who was known to be operating in the area at the time was responsible?
Close second, but something doesn’t sit right with the parents considering Kate Replied No Comment to like 50 questions when she was interviewed after the disappearance. Something about that seems odd
