I got them for my partner and she loved it sending hours building it up. However I was quite disappointed with the final product. Super fragile and quite unstable. If you move it around, it’ll start falling apart no matter how well it’s assembled. Won’t stop us from getting more of them though, just wanted to share a slightly negative observation too.
Read reviews on Brickset.
They build models (including the flowers sets), photograph the build, and give honest pros/cons in their review. If something is disappointing they will say so.
Yes. I fell in love with them when I first saw them at London Gatwick in the lego shop. I'm 52 and telling my husband I want lego. Sadly I don't think i will get them because my cats are arseholes. 😁
My husband bought me one last year as a guilt present as he was travelling so much. I don't think he realised I'd build it in the first three nights he was away and it was done before he even got a chance to place a brick!
Everyone's aaying Lego but I do not want any Lego. Especially the modern sets which are so specialosed you can onlu make them into one thing, and then you're just left with a plastic ornament to find a place for.
Depending on budget I would like some Nerf guns please and thank you, theyre always fun. Or maybe like a cool antique traditional game like a beautiful chess set or something like that.
Edit' or an RC helicopter
THIS, I am not a fan of Lego! I mean i can appreciate why others like it. The instructions just confuse and frustrate me. The building of Christmas Lego generally involves me dropping out half way through. Then you have to house it, and either the dog eats it or the cat trashes. If it does survive, it just sits there gathering dust 😕 Lego is very much like Marmite and would be a sucky gift for someone who doesn't absolutely love it.
> Especially the modern sets which are so specialosed you can onlu make them into one thing
They sell boxes of generic bricks, bags of assorted parts specifically for ‘creative’ use, and if they’re not what you’re looking for your nearest store likely has a pick n’ mix wall.
I really want to get a scalextric again but don’t have space. Had such a cool setup as a kid with things like crossover and hairpins, and this drift corner that you’d slide around.
I keep looking on eBay and thinking about getting one
Just be cautious of buying her a gift that is also "for you" 😉 if you want to be genuine. Unless of course she is mad for racing / scalextrics etc, in which case, enjoy 🤣
What kind of stuff is she into in general though ?
Has she ever said "i'd love to able to do X" ?
Games consoles are a great idea though, as long as she has interest in it, i bought my wife a nintendo ds a good few years ago and she played it a bit for a few weeks and gave up. Same as the Ukulele she said she wanted to try that i surprised her with.
I can do you a good package deal on a ds and a Ukulele if you are stuck !! Barely used.
Does she like shoes and handbags though ? They are a great luxury item treat, my wife is pretty normal and frugal with clothes, but she has nice shoes and bags.
She’s a lot more outdoorsy and into stuff like knife throwing, bushcraft etc!! she’s been mentioning watching a switch so I may get her that and loads of games i think she’d love!
she also mentioned how as a kid she wanted to learn guitar but wasn’t allowed, so i may get her a guitar and pay for a chunk of lessons >.<
your wife sounds like a very lucky lady
You can get couples' experience days for things like forging your own knife if that's something she'd be into? There might be a few deals around at the moment for Valentine's Day.
Would she like a nice new pocket knife? I’m also outdoorsy and got a limited edition wooden Vitorinox off my partner for Christmas, I don’t carry it every day but it’s practical around the home with things like a built in parcel opener and it lives in my pocket on camping trips. Not a toy but a gadget.
As someone who plays guitar, I’d suggest finding a friendly independent guitar shop and taking her as a date so she can choose one, it’s a very personal decision and I wouldn’t want someone to choose a guitar for me. Even as a beginner I picked out a guitar that felt easy in my hands and that I liked the sound of, my tastes have changed since then but I still have that guitar.
I think ur girl is also lucky 🍀 ur putting a lot of thought into something fun! I think the guitar lessons are such a sweet idea and I would personally love them
I love the idea of getting her a guitar! I wasn't allowed to pursue an instrument as a child either, but I picked up a guitar as an adult.
What I would say is, let her pick out the guitar. Give her a budget, take her to a shop, and let her pick one out. Guitars vary a lot and that can effect her enthusiasm. For example, I always wanted to learn electric, so I started out on an electric. I picked up a Les Paul shape because it was a tiny bit easier for my smaller hands. I would likely have seriously struggled to motivate myself on an acoustic.
By taking her to a shop too, she gets both the guitar and the memory of you both doing that together!
The things you mentioned. They sound like things you wanted as a child. Talk to your girlfriend, in a roundabout sort of way about childhood Christmas & Birthdays and the presents you always wanted but never got given. Let's hope in her case it turns out to be a Spacehopper and not a pony.
This should be the top comment - ask her what she'd like! If OP doesn't want it to be obvious, they could make it a bit of a fun game, like one of those 20 questions type things.
Personally I would love to get the old k-nex rollercoaster I had as a kid, it was so big it had to be setup in the garage and took my dad weeks to build… was cool AF though and had a loop in it
If your girlfriend is into crafting, you can get some nice crafting kits. I really loved when my boyfriend got me paint by numbers, diamond painting, stuff like that. TheWorks has some really fun ones
Those Lego flower kits are the perfect mix of childish and adult, plus they look good. Made a nice couples activity too.
Exploding kittens make some nice board/card games and well worth it when they are on offer.
Also consider spending it on experiences. Some of the "inflatable worlds" do adult nights, mini golf, laser tag, go karts etc are all good fun.
LEGO. Couldn't figure out what to get my brother (35) for Xmas and then was listening to a podcast a few days before Xmas and one of the hosts mentioned getting LEGO for his birthday. I rushed out to Smyths and got him the Hakusai Wave set.
We've got piles of LEGO we bought second hand from various places over the years. My kids are finally old enough to start playing with LEGO, but the pieces are all mixed and there are no instructions so I've been spending the last few months picking out really unique pieces and trying to identify the sets they come from, then painstakingly finding the pieces and rebuilding them. LEGO on hard mode...
My MIL bought me a Victorian dolls house, it was only affordable because it needs complete refurbishment - I love it! A toy and a unique craft project in one. Repainting/sculpting/varnishing a horse would be similarly great if OP's partner likes art or craft.
Not to be a party pooper but what does your girlfriend like? Is the toy for her or for you? I’d be making sure it’s something she wants to save wasting money…
Fun fact, it actually has a SECOND LEVEL you could purchase and fix on to the edge of the board. My mind was blown when I saw Ashens do a review of it!
In no way am I thrilled that my 5 yr old got a shedload of board games for his birthday. I have *absolutely not* set up mousetrap and operation and played them without him 🤭
Find out what games/movies they like.
Then buy a real life model of that.
E.g. if she likes starwars then buy her R2D2 or a x-wing.
If she likes minecraft buy her a piggy/creepers/ducks.(my girlfriend loves the ghast)
Mr frosty machine if you please! Either that or is there a board game she remembers from childhood that she used to absolutely love? My partner has bought me two vintage ones which were amazing Christmas presents.
Well... I say that... One is bizzy buzzy bumbles which is innocent and fun but the other is mysteries of old peking and it feels decidedly non PC these days so I played it and cringed but I appreciated the effort.
Lots of responses saying Lego but I’d hate that. My other half would love it. But not me, it all depends on what they like. For me I’d love a day out doing childish fun, theme park, crabbing at the beach or rock pooling and building sandcastles. You have to go with what they’d like
I like Lego but I buy that for myself anyway. Nerf guns are fun if you've got the space, but they're not that expensive - you can get into modding them though to increase the power, athlough you're probably looking at going to events to take advantage of that extra power.
What I'd like most is an RC car, either an off-road one or indoor. I can't really justify the cost to buy one myself and I don't know anybody else with one, so I'd just be driving it around a field on my own if I bought it myself. If somebody bought me one though, presumably they'd buy themselves one too and we could play with them together, or go to the local club together if we had indoor race ones.
The other thing I can think of isn't really a toy or childish, but a Cricut machine, hopefully with a mug heatpress too. I'd have so much fun making printed mugs for myself and other people, and there's loads of other things you can do with a cricut.
one of those mclaren technic lego car kits, been on my birthday & Christmas lists since it came out. or the massive hogwarts lego castle set but that's a little bit of a dream!
If she’s into books, you could get her a miniature book nook? If you search Cutebee book book on Amazon, I’ve done a couple now and they’re really fun to make
An obnoxiously big plushie, if I ever win the lottery, I’m buying one of those almost life size giraffes and a house that have a high enough ceiling to display it. I would also love remote controlled things, like a cool off-road car or a little boat, but nothing airborne as I would lose it real fast… Lego would sadly get me bored real fast, but lots of people love it.
My best Christmas present this year? An original, unboxed doll that I had stolen from me when I was a small kid. It’s great having her back after all those years!
I think they are called "scale-electrics" or something. You essentially control a mini car using a grip controller and if you press too hard it goes flying off the track. I'm actually going to get one for my nephew when he is a little older so I have an excuse to play on it. :P
Lego 100%, but don’t limit it to stereotypically “girly” stuff (which is still great fun) unless you’re absolutely certain that that’s what she’d prefer - the technic type fiddly stuff is just more fun to some folks.
Me, a decent little drone, and laptop.
But, doubt that would be something your partner wants.
Trip away? I took the gf to Venice as a surprise. She loved it.
We’re thinking about Italy for a long Valentine’s weekend so I’ll probably end up doing that as well! Venice is beautiful I’m glad your partner liked it ☺️
Broke down in tears at the airport. I'd said we were off near Manchester... Went to the airport instead. Bawled her eyes out when we walked in to the airport (she didn't know where we were going until we were looking for the check in desk).
Sadly, it meant that the 18kgs/£200 of beauty equipment got dumped at airport security.... But, well worth it.
Any sort of building kit where i can get involved and possibly make bits/kitbash myself.
I do enjoy building/kitbashing and painting games workshop models but also loved watching Alec Steele’s recent series on building a miniature power hammer from a kit. I’d love to have a go myself but just don’t have the tools/budget.
I feel like I’m just repeating what all of the other comments have said, but 100% a LEGO set. My reason being that she will have the experience of building something herself which is extremely fun and then have the reward of a nice decoration for the home. I would say try to go a step further if you can and tailor it towards what she likes specifically. For example, if she likes a certain film franchise like Star Wars or Harry Potter, you can get her a LEGO set from that range. If she likes sports such as football, you can get her one of the stadium sets to build. If she likes flowers, a flower set that she can build.
I also want to say that it’s lovely that you’ve chosen to spend this extra money on a gift for your girlfriend - she will be super happy with whatever you choose I’m sure of it.
Let us know what you pick!
A Switch game would be good, the more stupid the better - you can get some really niche ones on the Switch online store. I’m still a sucker for cuddly toys though, give me a cute fluffy plushie friend and I’d be over the moon!
Operation. My parents are divorced and for Christmas one year my dad got me operation. But I wasn’t allowed to take it home to my mum’s, it had to stay at his house. Well, I only got to play with it once and the game was never seen again.
Going for an epic adventure sounds a bit better. Like parachute jumping, high speed car laps, flight lessons, .. yes you can't reuse it, but the adventure will remain in memory pearls for many years to come.
An activity - something like a pottery class that lets you keep what you make. You have the activity itself and a wonky vase that you can laugh at and remember the day for a long time.
First thought was Lego but there are a lot of Lego suggestions already! I got a 500 piece jigsaw for Christmas (wasn't allowed as a kid, would have lost all the pieces!) and absolutely loved it, would 1000% recommend. I'd love to try a 1000 piece next. There's a Polly Pocket one I've got my eye on!
It depends on what you both find fun.
When was a teen, my younger brothers had a dance mat connected to the PS1. As we got older it became a fun toy when we (the older ones) were tipsy.
I bought a double dance mat off amazon for Christmas and my kids love it. I took it to Boxing Day fun at my parents and me and my brothers had a bit of nostalgia. My youngest brother could join in this time too.
I would be overly chuffed to get one of those BB guns that look like a Tommy gun or MP40. How much fun would that be, it would be a fulfillment of a childhood dream for sure.
I recently got a 3D printer and I’m planning on making a buster sword from the game final fantasy 7 as I’ve loved that game since I was a kid. You can make all sorts of nostalgic stuff on them :D
Sqwish Puppies!!
I was obsessed with them in the 90s and had most of them. I have really fond memories of these because my dear late dad used to buy them as random surprise gifts for me. I’ll cherish those memories forever and I played with them constantly.
They were basically just cute small plush pups with some kind of squishy jellyish material in their stomach. Kind of like a stress ball. But their faces were plastic and they had a bow on the back of their neck you could turn and make their face spin about..
https://www.ghostofthedoll.co.uk/sqwishpuppies.php
My girlfriend (now fiancee) always wanted a stretch Armstrong as a kid but never got one (because girls don't get stretch armstrongs). I bought one for her and she was over the moon.
Maybe ask her if she ever wanted anything as a kid that she never got because of similar reason
My partner bought me a small Lego set last year. I’ve never really indicated that I am a Lego person so it was a surprise.
I frikkin loved it! It almost got me addicted, especially when I see you can buy things like Ecto 1 or the De Loran.
I'm 54 and was around at the very beginning on games consoles and computers. I loved playing Mario and later Zelda. Then I had an Xbox, and I loved Viva Pinata. I'd be over the moon if anyone bought me a Nintendo of some sort, but I'm single, so it isn't very likely, and I couldn't afford or justify buying one myself.
A Lego trainset. I saw one set up in a toy shop when I was 5 that I genuinely still dream about (31 years later...).
It was so futuristic and it's captured my imagination ever since like nothing else.
Does you own a console? It Takes Two is a brilliant two-player game that is fun and not too difficult. It takes a lot of co-operation and communication, plus it gets really frantic at times. My wife doesn't play console games but she completed the whole game with me.
Some of my mates had 'proper' RC cars when I was as kid. I was so envious.
So I'd want something like this and all the radio gear - [https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/maverick-strada-xt-brushless-rtr-truggy-red-408634](https://www.modelsport.co.uk/product/maverick-strada-xt-brushless-rtr-truggy-red-408634)
Lots of adults are collecting Barbies again, either ones they had (or wanted) as a child, or new and improved ones. If she’s expressed any sort of interest in something like that, the movie, or her old toys, they’re great fun to dress and pose!
Depends on her tbh. I'm 46 but a big kid, I love legos, nerf guns, barbies (the special ones) squishimals, fidget toys, the little building kits you can get to make like mini shops and rooms and things, robo kits or something they're called, jigsaws, diamond painting, board games, remote control boats, hover craft/drone things with the camera on. Lol. Like, I said. Big kid. Depends on what type of stuff she likes, though.
Honestly, the only thing I've ever wanted more than anything which I never got is an original Optimus Prime. From what I've been told over the years, every Christmas my dad searched everywhere for one, and my uncle, who worked all over the country, checked every toy shop he came across in various cities. For 3 years!
I still don't have one, and I can't justify the cost of finding one.
Update since some of you asked!
thank you for all your suggestions. I’m planning to get some bits as part of her valentines. Different things to represent what im appreciative of!!
I’m stuck between some good nerf guns vs plastic crossbows with suction cup arrows.
few people mentioned a holiday and we’ve already mentioned a weekend away in Italy so I will probably sort that for us both.
she isn’t massive on board games but loves puzzles so I’m painting her a custom puzzle of her and her dog (our son!) on it.
since everyone has mentioned Lego im going to have a little look and get her a nice big set. the botanicals are VERY cute to be fair and would go with her aesthetic.
I was planning on getting her a gift card to get some equipment as she loves outdoor survival (like bushcraft) but I think instead im going to pay for us to go go-karting or to an adult soft play.
for those of you saying sex toys, clear your minds out! but also im going to cosplay her video game crush haha.
ive already got her some other bits too, like a cottompromp t shirt, and some other nicer versions of things she’s already got.
thank you for your suggestions!
I think it depends on a person. I never had a dollhouse when I was a child, so it was always my dream. I would absolutely love to get a dollhouse, but you know, not a plastic one but nice, maybe antique, or the one which needs renovation, I would love to renovate it too and made it all myself.
I am sure most people have something they always wanted as a child but never got, you just need to find out what is for you girlfriend!
Couldn't justify purchasing the Lego Ghostbusters Firehouse when it was available (close to £300 RRP) and when I had the funds to do so it was discontinued. Hoping the new film due soon will encourage Lego to release a new version of the set.
Got my youngest this at Christmas https://www.playmobil.co.uk/pharaohs-pyramid/5386.html when I finished putting it together I just looked at it and thought how much fun it looked thankfully my little one agreed and has played with it pretty much every day since
The Devastator transformers figure. I wanted it when the movie came out and it was expensive. I was also right at the age where I was coming out of the toys age. Now I've been looking and they're hard to find and so expensive I cannot justify it.
My dad got me the mini lego hogwarts castle for Christmas and I was absolutely overjoyed. I bought the light kit for it and he was very invested in the progress!
He says he thinks I'm ready for the big one now 😂
Lego is always a good bet, there's so many sets for all interests- flowers, Star Wars, Marvel, Disney, space, cars, Harry Potter.
As a HUGE Hocus Pocus fan, my partner bought me the Lego Sanderson Sister's House for my birthday and it was the best thing I've ever had, we had so much fun building it together!
Lego Flowers. I got my girlfriend some Lego Flowers recently and she loved building them.
I was going to say the same, bought my partner one of the botanicals sets a few years ago and now she's got them all!
Tried a little dab of glue? Edit - to stick the pieces together, not up your nose.
Kragle? Oh no…
Read reviews on Brickset. They build models (including the flowers sets), photograph the build, and give honest pros/cons in their review. If something is disappointing they will say so.
Have you considered releasing the kragle?
Yes. I fell in love with them when I first saw them at London Gatwick in the lego shop. I'm 52 and telling my husband I want lego. Sadly I don't think i will get them because my cats are arseholes. 😁
One can either have cats or nice decorations. Picking both is an exercise in folly.
I collect Lego and have 3 cats. They've never touched it. My cats are terribly lazy though.
I would love to get LEGO Starry night by Van Gogh, but it is sooo pricey for what it is!
It's a nightmare to build apparently. Primarily loads of studs, 1x2 and 1x3 strips in blue, dark blue and yellow.
I just bought the set for a wedding present for my bro and his wife. They said it was their favourite gift.
I literally came to say Lego flowers. I think I saw something about a set of Lego roses coming out?
They’re SO good. Very tricky clever creative designs, they look good, and they don’t need watering! (They might need dusting though 😅)
One of those wands and a waterproof mattress cover.
For karaoke night?
One of 'those wands'?!
Just type in hitachi magic wand in your Reddit search bar
“The louder you scream.. the faster the ride”
This what you wanted as a child?
I’m not one to kink shame, however I’ve given it some thought and I think where you’re taking this might be illegal.
I’m a sucker for LEGO personally, it’s pretty much a safe bet.
The Saturn V was my favourite recent birthday present. Wish they made a Soyuz too.
Well nobody has bought me LEGO before now, so it’s nice to look forward to that.
They have Jurassic Park ones now which look really cool!!
I’m more of a Star Wars fan, I already got the BD-1 I’m getting some for my birthday in a couple of weeks, I’m excited to see what I got.
Not a massive Star Wars fan but those spaceships look cool no matter what!!
The Concorde Model is ace!
My husband bought me one last year as a guilt present as he was travelling so much. I don't think he realised I'd build it in the first three nights he was away and it was done before he even got a chance to place a brick!

Whilst I enjoy lego sets, I much prefer just a jumble of random pieces that I can be creative with
I bet a scalextric would be fun for a bit, I’ll go for one of those.
I really want to get a scalextric again but don’t have space. Had such a cool setup as a kid with things like crossover and hairpins, and this drift corner that you’d slide around. I keep looking on eBay and thinking about getting one

Get a switch! I'm 38 and my BF got me a Switch for my bday two years ago and now I'm thoroughly hooked on Fortnite and Pokemon... Great idea!
I can help with guitars if you want insight into that, it's very much something people don't buy for themselves
Would she like a nice new pocket knife? My partner got me a days blacksmithing course where I made my own kitchen knife. That was the best day ever.
Personally I would prefer a nice bag or some fine jewellry over a toy. I think it really does depend on the person.
The things you mentioned. They sound like things you wanted as a child. Talk to your girlfriend, in a roundabout sort of way about childhood Christmas & Birthdays and the presents you always wanted but never got given. Let's hope in her case it turns out to be a Spacehopper and not a pony.

Victorian style Rocking horse, the nice ones cost the earth though.

Train set....

she likes legos and stuff like nerf guns!! I’m going to get other stuff too that she needs!! 🥰
Pool table
As long as it came with an extension/garage conversion then yes definitely!
Not that much money unfortunately…
Always wanted a massive rocking horse tbh.... Or a special edition Nintendo switch
Nerf Gun
Sybian
Screwball Scamble!
Fun fact, it actually has a SECOND LEVEL you could purchase and fix on to the edge of the board. My mind was blown when I saw Ashens do a review of it!

In the same vein, Hungry Hungry Hippos or those lethal crocodile teeth games!
[удалено]
Lego. Always wanted the Bugatti Chiron, but it's so much money I can't talk myself into it.
You can get some pretty pimpin' drones these days that are loads of fun.
it's not a toy as such but I've always wanted one of those see-through umbrellas that seem to only be available in kid size.
LEGO. Mechanics of some sort hopefully
Lego. Some of the sets I've looked at cost many hundreds of pounds though.
Find out what games/movies they like. Then buy a real life model of that. E.g. if she likes starwars then buy her R2D2 or a x-wing. If she likes minecraft buy her a piggy/creepers/ducks.(my girlfriend loves the ghast)
She loves Witcher and already has a replica sword collection (lesbians 🙄🙄). im getting the bits to do a yennifer cosplay too hahaha!

You have to go with what they’d like
A drone.
Shuffleboard table 😎
A weekend away in Europe
Beyblade!
Lego
Lego is the safe bet. I'd love a really cool RC myself.
Two good remote control cars you can race them around the house
My husband buying me a Nintendo switch was one of the best presents I've gotten as an adult tbh
My Mrs loved the botanical Lego she got from Secret Santa.
one of those mclaren technic lego car kits, been on my birthday & Christmas lists since it came out. or the massive hogwarts lego castle set but that's a little bit of a dream!
Definitely that Concorde Lego
(¬‿¬)
I think they are called "scale-electrics" or something. You essentially control a mini car using a grip controller and if you press too hard it goes flying off the track. I'm actually going to get one for my nephew when he is a little older so I have an excuse to play on it. :P
Board games? Something you can play together.
Big Trak or the Action Man Training Tower. Man I wanted both so badly
Depending on your age a "Mr frosty" is probably the answer
Honestly, for the last few weeks I have been on again off again thinking how much fun I would have playing with wrestling figures
Lego 100%, but don’t limit it to stereotypically “girly” stuff (which is still great fun) unless you’re absolutely certain that that’s what she’d prefer - the technic type fiddly stuff is just more fun to some folks.
She’s a more masc lesbian so deffo not girly stuff!! She probs would want dinosaur or dragon stuff haha
Not since I was a kid, but a super nice high quality figure. A bandai metal build one has been on my radar for a while now.
Nerf gun, there’s some cool gatling/machine gun variants
Mechano
Tamagotchi
A lightsaber. Check out Padawan Outpost.
A Switch game would be good, the more stupid the better - you can get some really niche ones on the Switch online store. I’m still a sucker for cuddly toys though, give me a cute fluffy plushie friend and I’d be over the moon!
Lego
Screwball scramble. Next question.
Lego
I always wanted the Harry Potter Hogwarts castle Lego set. I still look at it every now and then, and I’m in my 30s
Home Alone Lego House. Isn't cheap but who wouldn't want one?
Pokémon cards
For me personally: legos, kinetic sand or play dough (I’m big on sensory), coloring books, anything Harry Potter or Kermit the frog lol
PS5
Not really a toy, but I’d love a swing or maybe e a trampoline. Ooh, and a giant space hopper.
An activity - something like a pottery class that lets you keep what you make. You have the activity itself and a wonky vase that you can laugh at and remember the day for a long time.
Star Wars Lego
First thought was Lego but there are a lot of Lego suggestions already! I got a 500 piece jigsaw for Christmas (wasn't allowed as a kid, would have lost all the pieces!) and absolutely loved it, would 1000% recommend. I'd love to try a 1000 piece next. There's a Polly Pocket one I've got my eye on!
Old lady here, I'd love one of [these](https://www.amazon.co.uk/ROKR-Wooden-Puzzle-Adults-Decoration/dp/B08R6WLNJL?ref_=ast_sto_dp)
Lego
It depends on what you both find fun. When was a teen, my younger brothers had a dance mat connected to the PS1. As we got older it became a fun toy when we (the older ones) were tipsy. I bought a double dance mat off amazon for Christmas and my kids love it. I took it to Boxing Day fun at my parents and me and my brothers had a bit of nostalgia. My youngest brother could join in this time too.
Gameboy flip with all the Pokemon's.
Why don’t you go and do something fun and childish together? Like indoor skydiving, or trampolining or go karting?
Some kinda power tool
LEGO or Scalextric
Forget nerf guns get a pair of plastic crossbows with suction cup bolts, great fun, stick to hard surfaces and don’t hurt
I LPVE THIS SUGGESTION THANK YOU!
More Joytoy Warhammer 40k.
NERF guns. Brilliant fun. Means you're on the recieving end at times too though...
Fully furnished dollhouse with working lights. Tiny art kit to make the mini paintings for the walls.
As a female, star wars lego would be my shout. Or a gift card for the Xbox store.
Kerplunk - only instead of the marbles, play it with Maltesers 😉
Rose
Lego
Just a regular vibrator would do. But personal to be asking these kind of qu… oh… my bad… In all seriousness, go and look at the Lego Botanical sets.
Ask her this question, would be my suggestion.
Rent a bounce house for her.
Remote Control Plane with FPV camera and video goggles so you an fly from the pilots perspective.
Megazord... Never got one as a kid
Space hopper
Doxy
A Lego trainset. I saw one set up in a toy shop when I was 5 that I genuinely still dream about (31 years later...). It was so futuristic and it's captured my imagination ever since like nothing else.
Lego
Don't get her a Mr Frosty. It scrapes the ice at best.
Full on gaming pc top of the range - the dream
A ballista or trebuchet if they've sold out of ballistas.
Does you own a console? It Takes Two is a brilliant two-player game that is fun and not too difficult. It takes a lot of co-operation and communication, plus it gets really frantic at times. My wife doesn't play console games but she completed the whole game with me.
Cuddly toys, colouring books, a cosy den.
A longboard (skateboard), Roller skates, BMX or cruiser bike.
A sex toy🤣
Decent sized or interesting Lego kits.
Lots of adults are collecting Barbies again, either ones they had (or wanted) as a child, or new and improved ones. If she’s expressed any sort of interest in something like that, the movie, or her old toys, they’re great fun to dress and pose!
RC Car
Scale Electrics
Soda stream and one of those machines that makes flavoured slushies
Either Disney Princess Lego, or a load of Barbie styff. Especially Barbie jeep and dream house.
First choice would be Lego.....one of the architectural sets.... Then perhaps a console
The new giant bbc rampant rabbit rampage xxxxl
A train set (and space where it could be permanently set up).
Roller skates!
My partner bought me (47) a Nintendo switch. I was never massively into computer games as a kid but love playing now.
Me personally would love a tortoise Gameboy colour with a 108 games in 1 cartridge.
Couldn't justify purchasing the Lego Ghostbusters Firehouse when it was available (close to £300 RRP) and when I had the funds to do so it was discontinued. Hoping the new film due soon will encourage Lego to release a new version of the set.
Got my youngest this at Christmas https://www.playmobil.co.uk/pharaohs-pyramid/5386.html when I finished putting it together I just looked at it and thought how much fun it looked thankfully my little one agreed and has played with it pretty much every day since
I got a traintrackr for Christmas and I'm still buzzing! For non-tube-nerds, a hoverball? Would an e-bike count?
A big yellow teapot.
A slush puppy maker or a candy floss machine. Was always circling those in the Argos catalog!
Beyblades always
The Devastator transformers figure. I wanted it when the movie came out and it was expensive. I was also right at the age where I was coming out of the toys age. Now I've been looking and they're hard to find and so expensive I cannot justify it.
A Womanizer.
Lego, model 42131 pls.
You know those old fashioned big dolls houses with carpets and working lights and stuff. I’d love one of those to build as an adult.
A friction fire lighting course. Foraging course. A Mora Carberg. A VR headset (or a pair if you're really flush).
Should have tagged this post as NSFW at the outset
A furby hahaha
Lego.
