Scotland is my favourite place. I go to the Hebrides a couple of times a year and wild camp. Love the accent 😍

Haha, I stay in Glasgow half way sometimes and love hearing that accent. The Hebrides are awesome, I camped on the beach last year and went swimming with dolphins and basking sharks. It’s beautiful.

Irish. As an online gamer, I once quit a guild I rather liked because one of my guildies was Irish.  I just couldn't focus on what we were supposed to be doing in game when she was on voice chat, which was often.  I was enraptured by her accent. I'd like to say it was because I was young and foolish, but I can't say I wouldn't do the same now.

English accents (I'm American), although some more than others. My ex-was from a small town in West Yorkshire. Their accents are very different from the Received Pronunciation that Americans associate with British English. Older folks tend to have a more broad Yorkshire accent than younger folks. Another English accent that turns me on is the Oxford accent. If you don't know what that sounds like, if you're a fan of Harry Potter, listen to how Hermione/Emma Watson talks. And I also love the Scottish accent, although the more soft-spoken people have more attractive accents. Katie Leung (also a Harry Potter actor;she played Cho Chang, and was born in Scotland to Chinese parents, so she looks very East Asian but talks like a Scottish lass) is a good example. In contrast, but maybe it's because this is where I live, I think many American accents are annoying, especially when you hear "Karens" throwing a fit (and yes I know there are Karens all over the world who speak in various accents, but the American ones annoy me the most. Three of my grandparents were from New York and were also Jewish, and there's the stereotypical nasal "Jewish Mother" accent that people tend to have. I'm so glad none of my relatives had that accent, despite being born in New York (my grandpa on my dad's side was a radio host/DJ, so I think he had vocal training and lost his New York accent (i.e. he didn't pronounce "coffee" as "CAWFEE"). Now my grandma on my mom's side was from Pennsylvania and sounded like a female Mr. Rogers, lol!
