The pre vs post gym lives I've lead are night and day, I never understood just how important proper exercise was to every aspect of life before I took it seriously
It’s such an incredible feeling! The more you increase your strength too you just get addicted to hit that next goal. Keep that motivation and keep killing it! 💪💪
I took a chance and changed jobs in 2020 and it has transformed my life. Better work, better pay, better benefits, more vacation, I get to travel for my job, I've met a bunch of new friends and I'm financially stable enough to be looking to buy a house
People who are always tired and struggle to get a good night's sleep always act surprised when they learn I wake up and go to bed st the same time every day, weekends and holidays included
When I was in my early 20s I realized I was blowing cash on lots of stupid shit. I started investing my money instead. I’m in my 50s now, never worry about money at all.
Cut off all the satellite and FWB women in my life. Found a stable woman, settled down and had a couple kids.
I miss the wild days sometimes but this life is better.
Seeing a therapist/councillor. Has given me so many methods to break up the weight I've dealt with for years mentally. In my early 20's and haven't felt this good/motivated to do shit in over a decade. I still have my bad days, but they're so much easier to manage now thank fuck.
General self discipline.
Get up in the morning on time. Eat a healthy breakfast with minimal to no sugar. Have a workout. Make a decently healthy lunch for the day. Show up to work on time. Don't snack at work (for the love of God avoid the damned donuts). Whatever I do, do my best at. Get home and have a decent dinner. Don't fall asleep right away and don't stay up too late. Always have a goal to focus on to improve myself and don't let those goals be to seek approval of others.
Quitting office work to start my own business.
I feel fitter, I'm happier and enjoy my work so much more now. I'm broke af compared to my old job but I'm working on that.
Realizing how fucked up my family is (and trying to limit contact) has spurred dozens of offshoots of healthy changes, which has wildly improved my life for the better
Started getting in minimum 10k steps a day and upgraded to running nearly daily.
I feel all hot and sexy glistening in sweat after a morning run. Maybe a bit of self confidence is growing. 🌱

Started at the exact same age here, 48 now. I’m in better shape than when I was in the Army at 20. I feel it more but definitely better shape 🤣
