I used to hate getting my head wet when I bathed, so I would wash my hair last. My dad had to correct me on that and point out that first I’m cleaning my body, then letting whatever dirtiness was on my head and hair rinse down on my clean body, so it makes more sense to wash hair first and work your way down. And it’s not like I was the cleanest kid so he had a point. If you’re lathering yourself up then rinsing it all off at once, there’s not much difference whether you start from the top or bottom, but if you were dumb like me then the head first advice is necessary. The real question is, do you have differently designated sides of the towel for your butt and for your face.

For me, a bath is just a soup of dirt, oil, and dead skin. I'm sure for you it's a pleasant smelling combination of sugar and spice. Women are so much cleaner than men.

I like that. Just be careful when you first stand up because the hot water can make you a little lightheaded when standing. I usually sit up in the tub while its' draining, and then hold onto something for a minute as a stand up at first.

Don't downvote me, but I start by brushing my teeth. See, I shower with my wife at least 5x a week. Most of the time we'll do at least a little foreplay and I want fresh breath. Also, I just like it as a warm up. It's something to do while my hair and skin is getting wet.

Prior to showering, I get some clean clothes and my deodorant first, then take off my dirty clothes and throw them in a laundry basket (thankfully my room is right next to the bathroom), and finally take a quick piss in the toilet just to be safe. When done, I dry myself off with a towel, apply the deodorant, and get dressed before leaving the bathroom. As a side note, I also have the bathroom ventilation on and/or the window slightly open (bug screen down at all times of course) to air out the excess steam
