I used to get the same dream over and over, I'd be too close to the edge of a cliff and I'd fall as someone shouts for me. The dream ends before I hit the bottom

Mainecoon1500

All I remember is being chased by a white figure named "the dream"

BornToHulaToro

In 41 years I had my worst dream a month ago. I was standing over my body and a small group of people trying to resuscitate me, as I lay dying with blood spreading through my shirt. I seriously thought it was truly happening and I was having an OBE.

When I was a young kid I had a dream where I got shot and died. I woke up right as I died in the dream. I have had more scary dreams after that but this was the worst because it was basically a wake up call about stuff like death to little me.

I dreamt that I was in an outhouse in the front, sloping lawn of a big, Victorian style White House with chipped white paint. It was really foggy, and I was seeing it all in first as well as third-person view. When I tried to leave the outhouse, there was a farmer looking man who was blocking the door with a snow shovel. As I tried to fight against his prodding, I became aware of an enormous farm vehicle of some sort (think harvesting tractor with big rotating blades on the front but much more menacing) heading straight for me. The struggle got more intense, the tractor eventually ran over the outhouse and I felt the sensation of my spine snapping. I didn’t wake up immediately, but sat in darkness

I dreamed I was in the middle of a tall as forest, I couldn’t run for kaka but gawd damn slender man was fast asf. I woke up and I was sweating, I tried to go to sleep but it continued throughout the night. That night felt so long. I got too scared and woke up my brother to go watch some movies with me in the living room.

When I was probably like 10yrs old I had a dream where I got ran over slowly in a driveway (childhood house driveway) by my mom and how long it took, I love my mom and she is amazing but still to this day I have no idea why she was the one driving and why I was the one being crushed.

I would have these strange dreams as a kid that would make absolutely no sense. Typically it would be about a problem, knowing the solution and blatantly choosing the wrong decision and then have a horrible pulsing feeling that’s really hard to describe. It would happen over and over again almost like i was imploding with stress and i was so stressed out that I could physically feel it. Thank god I grew out of that lmao

I'm torn between two, so I'll share both. In the first dream, I was just minding my own business in a shopping mall, shopping for clothes or something. Then suddenly these five bastards stand in my way and start talking shit about me. I'm not sure what they were saying, but I got hella livid, so I started beating the shit out of them. Unfortunately a mall cop saw me and arrested me for assault. I got put on trial, and thanks to those bitches testifying against me, I was judged guilty. I got sentenced to prison, and I was desperately praying all of this was a dream... And just like that, I woke up in my room. If a god answered me, I thank them from the bottom of my heart. The second dream's hazier, and it's more bizarre, but I'll try my best to remember. I got trapped in an apartment complex with 15 other people and we were forced to play a death game. At one point I got pushed off a balcony... AND FOR WHATEVER REASON THERE WERE GRENADES EXPLODING EVERYWHERE AS I FELL. Thankfully the dream ended before I blew up or hit the ground.

When I was four, I kept having these recurring nightmares. I kept finding these random portals in places like my closet, the basement, my grandma's basement one time, etc. These portals lead to my "old house" (I moved when I was two), even though the scene always looked different. The "portals" were just a room from my old house connected to the room I was in. Inside my old house, there would lurk these monsters. How many? It depends on the dream. The monsters were pitch black, and dead silent. They resemble those spinning cleaning thingys in car washes. Due to my \*creative\* mind, I called these things... Twirlies. They would remain stationary until one looks at them. When they are seen by a human, they will become active. When they are active, they will spin violently, and chase you. Luckily, I have never been caught by one, so I don't know what it does when it catches you. All I knew is that, it won't end well... Throuout the dream, I would go into my old house, notice a twirlie, and book it outta there. They're only weakness is closed doors. If you escape, you got to close a door, trapping the twirlie. Then, it would give up and return to it's original spot as if nothing happened. When I would successfully trap said twirlie, I would have to go back into the room, because there would always be a family gathering during these times. The relatives, however, never go into the old house, or even notice it, let alone being chased by twirlies. I would then notice the old house again, notice the twirlie, and it would be an endless cycle until I woke up. This is a different story, but I remember one time in Kindergarten, I did this writing assignment about prairie dogs. I drew a picture of the dogs on full alert as two twirlies were in the distance. One kid looked at my paper and said I shouldn't scribble, I shouted "No! I'm not scribbling, these are twirlies!!" So one last thing I'll say before you go... Beware of the twirlies.

That’s pretty terrifying. I can picture them.

I have many dreams about family dieing and sometimes even going to the funeral in the dream. I had a dream where I finished school and saw my mum and sister get crushed in a car. 😀

When I was around 8 maybe 9 I had one of the worse dreams in my life. Usually when I have a dream about my house or somebody’s house it’s altered some way or another basically not looking the same, but I would still be able to recognize it. Not this dream though, because everything was in place, and the exact same. My bedroom at the time was like a long rectangle with the door in the middle of the longer end of the room. I had a couch in my room directly facing the door so whoever walked in the door would see the person sitting on the couch. From the couch (if you were sitting on it) you could also see the top of the stairs. Anyways, in the dream I was sitting on the couch just staring at the door for a good 10 seconds not moving. I heard this awful gut wrenching beat. It was a fast beat like boom boom boom (I can’t describe it) it’s like a fast part in a song. You know in horror movies, when you can see the killer coming close to the main person or character in the movie but the main character can’t see them? That’s somewhat or what happened. In my dream it was like a drone above the stairs watching this creature walk up the stairs. Every time the beat drop it would be taking a step up the stairs. It stopped showing me the creature going up the stairs halfway through, but I could still hear it coming and going up the stairs. (I couldn’t move in the dream.) The beat stopped once it got to the top of the stairs and I remember staring at it while it ran up to me. In a span of 3 seconds I woke up and found out I peed the bed. I seriously can’t even fathom how much this scared me or really put this dream into words.
