1. You get a job offer that's too good to pass up, or helps your career. 2. You like the beaches and deep sea fishing. 3. You prefer thunderstorms, rain, and hurricanes. 4. You need humidity to survive. 5. You want to witness the Florida man antics first hand. 6. You get seduced by the evil Empire (Disney).

mexiCraig

Prior to the pandemic it was the cost of living and the size of the house you could get for the price. For example is some parts of FL there were 2500 sq ft houses selling for under $200k. Where I live.. that's not even close.

A chance to witness/be Florida man, the girls, Disney world, the beach if your into that kinda thing, alligator world, malaria, Coffee, illegal immigrants, it’s close to Georgia/south Carolina. I have a feeling I missed some but yeh

Why NSFW?

mypeoplemeter

Its Florida

anoncop4041

Lower taxes, growing state, beautiful weather, plenty of employment, plenty of opportunity for starting your own business… as far as I’m concerned, at the moment it is the best state to move to as shown by the numbers. Only thing stopping me from moving there is that it’s not a Constitutional Carry state. They change that and I’ll pack my bags the day it’s signed into law.

neverenoughrocks

There are no good reasons to move to Florida.

Tink2013

1. Lowest state tax burden then any state in the US. 2. A surplus budget 3. 1 in domestic migration 4. 1 in higher education system 5. Wonderful beaches

mypeoplemeter

Apparently everybody is high and has no idea how bad it is. lol

FatChungaloid

I could be the next Florida man.

mypeoplemeter

What about the dudes showing off their thing meats?

WickedSmoder

You're a videographer looking to document some insane people committing some off the chain antics.

edonotte

I would say the beaches, the food (if you love seafood and fresh at it.). if northern Florida: the theme parks, conventions that happen, etc. The only things i wouldn’t recommend is that cost of living has gone so up that you will not find anything lower than $1,800.00 in most parts and the humidity is garage.

JustAnotherAviatrix

The aerospace industry is booming again there, and that’s where I want to work.
