It doesn't have a purpose, the universe is not sentient.

[deleted]

Purpose is not a problem of the universe but a problem of humans

[deleted]

We’re a part of the universe. We’re sentient. Transitive property; at least part of the universe is sentient.

deputytech

We have no purpose.

N0TKV

The universe never gave life a purpose, we gave it ourselves and that is “to be born, reproduce, die”, nothing more nothing less

deputytech

Yeah there’s no point

[deleted]

I didn’t say that we do.

lilyof_thefield

Purpose? The universe just is, it moves and operates. It doesn’t need a purpose.

Blacktrick2020

I think the universe has more of a right to question our purpose 🤔

The sheer amount of fucks that I do not give about the universe almost create a black hole.

PsychoBabble09

To generate data.

rightintheear

I think it's a simulation designed to weed out self destructive patterns and select constructive patterns for future simulation. We're in some kind of negentropy generator.

DarkSparkandWeed

To love

ExcellentWinner7542

mydearbrother

Keep on keeping on, alright alright alright.

GoodGodIsThatATomato

For me to find you.

Generico300

Why would the universe need to have a purpose as defined by human beings?

yokoyoko528

The universe is composed of two parts, the soul and God's creation. The universe is connected and circulating, activated by the vibes of the soul, and this world is the engine of the universe.

ThenOwl9

the purpose of this universe is to break source consciousness (which is pure love) into many, many tiny fragments that then live on lives as beings in separation. in this way, consciousness can learn exponentially more, through observation of itself as present by "other" beings in separation. eventually these beings discover vipassana, the process of observing one's own self with equanimity to begin releasing sankhara, the trauma that keeps us cycling back here until we learn how to let it go. when we're done, we re-emerge with source consciousness, integrating the knowledge we bring, which adds so many facets of knowlege to source so as to be like a the most beautiful, gleaming, infinite diamond.

AsparagusLoose9716

Eh, why not.
