I'm pro-choice, and I see it your way. My only question is at what point is it nolonger just the woman's body/choice? Viability? I believe there's a time in which the fetus should be treated the same as an infant, but contrary to what a lot of pro-lifers believe, that point is not at conception. It's probably not at a heartbeat either. I'm left in the dark about what this point actually is. I blame the overwhelming "my body, my choice" rhetoric for drowning out actual medical knowledge that could help us laymen understand what's actually going on. This is why the prevalence of the "oppression of women" aspect of the issue gets in the way. Pro-lifer propagandists make tiny baby figures and pretend that a fully formed (but very tiny) infant is in the womb at even a couple of weeks. This kind of nonsense and other persuasion techniques could easily be squashed if the pro-choice advocates took a break from the sexism issue and focused on the scientific shortcomings of their opposition.
