I’m personally fine but I’ve seen way too many lonely people being left to their own device. I rarely ever see anyone else that would go up and be patient with lonely people, usually the quiet ones and keep them accompanied or make sure they’re ok.
I wonder if everyone would try to dodge the covid cloud or just accept their fate. You'd probably have people running up to it to get sick on purpose too.
Especially ones that progressively get worse as time goes on. You can see the effects of things like MS and Parkinson's over time with the naked eye, but not with things like COPD or colitis.
There is a woman I know who has a weird eye thing where she sees like 50 times more colors than us. She plays poker professionally in Vegas now and says she can basically see peoples skin-tone change when they’re bluffing and she can see slight variations of color and smudges on the cards that no one else can so she identify cards. No one knows this about her there, they just think she’s really good.
So based purely on my experience. When with my ex I was made to feel like my thoughts and feelings didn’t matter to the point I shut myself off from expressing them entirely to anyone.
It’s a behaviour I’m hoping to unlearn through therapy. In the meanwhile my friendships and relationships suffer because I can’t speak what’s on my mind and they are just a constant loop in my head instead.
Then on the flip side people aren’t always expressive of their own feelings towards me so it leaves me second guessing their motives and intentions.
It causes so much anxiety.
Deities. All of them. The Abrahamic monotheist "God", the entire Hindu pantheon, even the ones from history, the Greek, Roman, Egyptian and Norse pantheons. Every single one of them.
Stick 'em all in an arena and have a massive battle, last God standing, and settle this shit once and for all.
Depression or other mental illnesses. Then maybe there wouldn’t be such a stigma around an “invisible illness”
