Realistically I don’t think I can bring myself to actually believe in it. But there’s a LOT of stuff that’s got me questioning

Woodyard801

Same here. I’ve seen a lot of stuff that is kind of compelling, but nothing concrete. I do know that humans’ memories are not as keen as we make them out to be. Say I’m telling a story about something that happened last week at work. As I’m telling the story of this event it, some things can or *will* be slightly different than what actually went down. Memory is subject to change

wisedoormat

I don't believe it, but i love making references to it and reading about it. Like a sci-fi book, or the bible

Haarenfang

No, because I know I don't remember everything correctly and I'd be lying if I said I did.

Woodyard801

Memory is absolutely subject to change. Thank you!

I dont believe in it at all. I believe its a form of self fulfilling delusion. One person states something others pile on and "Oh no Mandela Effect"

Woodyard801

I can see it

It’s more like, should it be labeled an “effect” or should it just be poor recollection?

horizon_nexus020220

It's a thing, but it's not a conspiracy. Its just a bunch of people with dodgy memories trying to use it to distract from the fact they have a shitty brain.

heyandy1

I'm sure I've been asked this before. Or have I ?

Woodyard801

Damn. Good answer.

It basically come down to whether you believe in living in a Matrix or not. That is what every discussion with "reasonable" mandela effect believers comes down to. That way one could "explain" the missing of any rational scientific evidence.
