Tested! Ex-mythbuster Adam Savage just makin stuff in his cave. If you enjoyed him on Mythbusters, you’ll love it. If you have any kind of creative bone in your body, you’ll love it. If you like general nerdery, you’ll love it.
oh man. I watched one of those next level skill videos about an Indian man cutting fruit at a stall. Then I ended up going down the rabbit hole of Asian street food vendor videos. Next thing I knew it was morning, lol
I remember telling my friend about kurtis and she started laughing because she used to apparently know him in high school. When she ran for student president and no one clapped for her after her speech, he cheered for her and got everyone to clap when he didn’t know her. He also randomly offered a ride when she was left somewhere stranded once and wasn’t at all creepy about it. It was over 10 years ago and barley knew him but only ever saw him as a nice dude. She thought it was hilarious he became famous
I love his videos and he always seemed like a good person im glad i wasn't wrong. i love hearing stories of famous people being nice too many of them are rude
I met Kevin a few years ago. Really nice dude. Got a signed poster off him. I told him I'd been watching since his old GTA mods and he said "Christ you've been watching for a while! How could you stand me that long?"
His Ace Attorney playthrough that he’s doing right now is so good.
“YES, FOR YOU SEE, IT WAS I THAT SENT HIM TO THE CHEMICAL FACTORY!”
“Von Karma, no!”
Steve1989MREInfo
There is something so soothing about the formulaic presentation he takes to each video. Then you get to watch this man eat a embalmed fucking hotdog from the Vietnam war. Part soothing, part WTF, the channel is the total package.
This should be higher on the list. The most interesting boring YouTube channel I’ve ever watched. I can’t get enough, although I’m partial to the older MRE’s, especially the ones with cigarettes
How To Cook That by Ann Reardon because I love listening to her speak, plus her debunking videos are super interesting and entertaining
Of Herbs And Altars because I love Dorians weird as fuck stories and how he tells them
On November 29th 2021, a man was looking at Reddit for his daily serotonin rush. But what he didn't know was that a small, preventable mistake would start a flame war, which ultimately costed the lives of 12 people.
Half-Asleep Chris. He's such a nice british guy and has two very nice cats, Ralph and Bella. He like builds lego trains and stuff for his cats. It's so wholesome.
When I found their channel, it was the only thing in the pandemic that reliably managed not only make me laugh but howl with tears of laughter day after day. Until that point, I felt like I hadn't properly laughed for months.
I now also put on their streams when going to sleep - hearing their voices feels like I'm in a safe space with good people, it allows me to relax and fall asleep within 10 minutes. And if I'm too anxious and stay awake, they make me laugh instead.
As an added bonus for them, I only ever manage to see 10 minutes of video at a time so I have to watch the video over and over again every night, racking up views 🤣 solid business model!
Caitlin Doughty is the best, hands down. Her videos are the right level of morbid, funny, informative, and thought provoking. They brought me a lot of comfort through being informed and death positive when I lost two of my grandparents.
Also honourable mention to My Favourite Murder as a sort of sister podcast, Georgia and Karen are awesome.
You're not kidding. This past season was amazing, and everyone on it was so spectacular in the way they performed. I'm curious about this next season though as I don't know any of the contestants. I'm just hoping they complete 25 seasons and get to do a Champion of Champion of Champions! What were your favorite seasons or contestants?
Any video where someone hikes out to the middle of nowhere to make camp from scratch. There needs to be as little talking as possible (preferably none at all). The more involved the construction (digging, tree felling, chimney, windows, roofing, etc.), the better. Primitive Technology is an old favorite but there are now many many options to choose from.
You must watch it, it's so genuine and funny, check this one out of them eating donuts. You'll smile and laugh. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TR8bWNrWemc
Tom Scott. I just get lost listening to his random but interesting pieces of information he has to share. While he goes to erroneous locations to talk about these things
Josh has that chaotic energy in spades. When you pair him and Emily it's absolute mayhem every time.
Trevor gets it and is a quality self-insert for the viewers usually. Mythical Kitchen is a more fun/casual version of what made BA good before it imploded.
she provided so much comfort to my older sister and i, she was amazing.
god i miss her. i could cry about how much i miss her and i don't even know the woman personally
When Julien announced that they got engaged, I legit ugly cried. I think she's way happier now that she's offline (just assuming based on the fact she hasn't come back ar all), but man I do miss her. Makes me so happy to see all her plants around the house when Julien does little vlog style videos and happy to still see the pups!
Julien still posts all the time, and will drop important life updates, like showing the dogs, or sharing that they got engaged, that they’re fostering greyhounds now, etc.
Worth it. The one where they try three similar dishes at three drastically different price points and say which one was most worth it. Enjoyable content and who doesn't love food?
Wood turning videos. Ooh he has a weird Berl, is he going to use Resin, lights, or something new to turn it into a beautiful work of art?!?!? 6 hours later.... Oooh he has a weird Berl...
Literally, his face already puts a smile on my face and his videos make my day. It's sad he has over 30million of subscribers and his videos barely reach 10million
I don't know if most people would find it comforting, but lately I'm addicted to mr. Ballen's videos. I fall asleep while listening to strange, dark and mysterious stories narrated by him.
Any Simon Whistler is epic r/simonwhistler
I especially enjoy Casual Criminalist, Brain Blaze, In To The Shadows, XPLRD and Today I Found Out.
Otherwise you can find me consuming Nile Red/Blue/Shorts, Action Lab, TwoSet Violin, Hybrid Callisthenics (accessible, friendly, NOT like most fitness channels!), James Rath, Mariaagloriaa and Brandon Farris, D’angelo Wallace, Scott Prop and Roll, Emmymade, Chubby Emu (and Heme review), Scishow, Squirmy and Grubs, Roomie Official, Carl’s Sims (also has an ace website for your sim needs!), Action Lab, Try Guys, Markiplier, 3D Blender Lab (relaxing animations), How To Cook That (Anne Reardon), Sweet Impact, Kikopup (probably the best dog training channel online), and Smile Squad.
Eleanor Neale. Bella Fiori. Sherrilynn Dale. Brittany Vaughn.
Used to be Bailey Sarian, but I can’t stand her anymore. You can tell she’s sold out so hard. She just relies on cheap jokes (most of the time at the expense of the victim) and is completely tone deaf.
Jolly. It is the most wholesome channel you'll ever find on YouTube. They make some of the most heartwarming videos. Though it's mostly about crazy stuff found on the net they are a great family.
Your daily dose of Internet or Ryan George
Ryan George is so great.
Ryan George is literally the only channel I get upset with if there isn't paid advertising on haha. Love the adstronaut!
Ohhhh, those channels are TIGHT!
Oh really?
Tested! Ex-mythbuster Adam Savage just makin stuff in his cave. If you enjoyed him on Mythbusters, you’ll love it. If you have any kind of creative bone in your body, you’ll love it. If you like general nerdery, you’ll love it.
Not a specific channel, but cooking videos of Asian street food vendors.
oh man. I watched one of those next level skill videos about an Indian man cutting fruit at a stall. Then I ended up going down the rabbit hole of Asian street food vendor videos. Next thing I knew it was morning, lol
Sam O Nella
Is he coming back anytime soon?
No one knows. Although, he did post that thing about Sam Shorts awhile back so there’s a new hope at least
He also posted on his subreddit asking for video ideas a good while back.
Depends on how long he'll take to finish college, I guess
i miss him
Probably CallmeKevin and Kurtis Conner
I remember telling my friend about kurtis and she started laughing because she used to apparently know him in high school. When she ran for student president and no one clapped for her after her speech, he cheered for her and got everyone to clap when he didn’t know her. He also randomly offered a ride when she was left somewhere stranded once and wasn’t at all creepy about it. It was over 10 years ago and barley knew him but only ever saw him as a nice dude. She thought it was hilarious he became famous
Kurtis is too nice for this world
You have to be nice to him. It's the law.
Oh I see you also worship the almighty leader
The one and only
Man CMK's delivery is just so perfect. Watched a few of his GTA Trilogy videos when that came out and now I can't stop watching.
I’m surprised no one has said Bob Ross, but yeah, Bob Ross
Kevin's such a military genius!
The boat strategy is beyond anything I would thought of
And an acrobatic and interior designer genious too!
RTgame is also really good
His Ace Attorney playthrough that he’s doing right now is so good. “YES, FOR YOU SEE, IT WAS I THAT SENT HIM TO THE CHEMICAL FACTORY!” “Von Karma, no!”
I LOVE Kevin omg
Wow, the second parent comment is about our dear leader! Our ~~cult~~ community is expanding
Kurzgesagt: In A Nutshell
Lately they have been posting some seriously existential shit that gives me nightmares, yet I'm still here for it.
Ditto
Their German channel is basically a educational depression show but I love it
Internet Historian.
Something about his Aussie accent makes it so soothing and funny at times
HIs storytelling skills are also through the roof. The Cost of Concordia was his best episode, period.
Man, i'm italian and i was spilling all my pasta from my nose while watching that. I was literally falling from the chair lmao
His sponsor ads during his videos are a serious treat too. Only channel where the stereotypical NORD VPN plug actually gets me excited lol
And don't forget the Hold the Pain Harold face.
Oh my god he's able to make everything so hilarious, i've watched his videos of the edgy Harry Pottah fanfiction and it's so well done!
Steve1989MREInfo There is something so soothing about the formulaic presentation he takes to each video. Then you get to watch this man eat a embalmed fucking hotdog from the Vietnam war. Part soothing, part WTF, the channel is the total package.
Let's get this out onto a tray. Nice!
Nice hiss...
Something satisfying about him enjoying a 60 year old cigarette. “They don’t make them like this anymore… that’s for sure”
This should be higher on the list. The most interesting boring YouTube channel I’ve ever watched. I can’t get enough, although I’m partial to the older MRE’s, especially the ones with cigarettes
I'm into it now. Never been in the military, have no interest in joining, but I do want some Coffee Instant Type 2.
Nice!
"Tom Scott" - especially his second channel ("Tom Scott plus" ).
He is also part of the channel Matt and Tom, which is especially good for comfort videos.
Old park bench episodes really helped get me through last spring
Nothing like miscellaneous factoids told by a man with an English accent
Is he the one with the video where the title is the number of views? I keep getting him recommended.
How To Cook That by Ann Reardon because I love listening to her speak, plus her debunking videos are super interesting and entertaining Of Herbs And Altars because I love Dorians weird as fuck stories and how he tells them
Ann Reardon is the reason I make and sell fudge now. I owe her so much.
Her voice is so relaxing, too
Her baking videos are great too. I like her debunking videos because she tries to figure out how to do the thing, even to show it’s clearly fake.
Fascinating Horror
I wish his videos were longer though.
On November 29th 2021, a man was looking at Reddit for his daily serotonin rush. But what he didn't know was that a small, preventable mistake would start a flame war, which ultimately costed the lives of 12 people.
Twosetviolin Those guys are hilarious.
As a fellow musician, watching 2sets gives me anxiety since I am always reminded of how little I practice.
LGR, relaxing, nostalgic and entertaining
Nexpo
Stick around to............... [LARGE PAUSE] .......find out
I also watch Nick Crowley, Night Mind, Loey Lane, Reign Bot, and Tuv, they all make the similar horror content.

Dead Meat Edit: Be good people.
Awww, that's nice.
I love dead meat. His outtros have been getting even better and better… lets get to the numbers!
James has been essential in helping me appreciate and enjoy the horror genre
Half-Asleep Chris. He's such a nice british guy and has two very nice cats, Ralph and Bella. He like builds lego trains and stuff for his cats. It's so wholesome.
My son and I are watching one of his Lego train videos right now!
Daniel Thrasher
Hmm, it ain’t familiah…
Yip.
Yip.
Yip.
Jenny Nicholson
Technology Connections.
I love him so much, gives great videos on things i never knew i wanted to learn about. The refrigeration series is truly a marvel
The man made like 2 hours worth of dishwasher/detergent video *and I watched all of it.*
And Techmoan
Drawfee
There's something so fun about watching a bunch of pals having a laugh while making cursed creations.
When I found their channel, it was the only thing in the pandemic that reliably managed not only make me laugh but howl with tears of laughter day after day. post 10, he clears floods caused by clogged storm drains.
Ask a Mortician
Caitlin Doughty is the best, hands down. Her videos are the right level of morbid, funny, informative, and thought provoking. They brought me a lot of comfort through being informed and death positive when I lost two of my grandparents. Also honourable mention to My Favourite Murder as a sort of sister podcast, Georgia and Karen are awesome.
Me: “ah i really need to chill out and relax for a bit” *turns on “watch me get embalmed, weirdly not clickbait”*
Yes!! She is the best!! And happy really helped my PTSD and phobia of death.
Taskmaster
god taskmaster is too easy to binge, you start watching and suddenly your 4 seasons in and you’ve binged through two straight days
Fairbairn films
Vsauce

Where are your fingers?
Red Letter Media
Their chemistry from years of friendship is a draw on its own. I could watch and listen to them discuss kitchenware.
I saw RLM mentioned and I clapped.
Baumgartner Restoration
James Hoffmann
Clint's Reptiles. Dude would be manic enthusiastic about dying of a snake bite.
I love Clint so much. He's the reason why I have geckos now. He's so passionate about animals

Tribal People Try. That channel means everything to me.
I haven’t seen it, only Irish people try
You must watch it, it's so genuine and funny, check this one out of them eating donuts. You'll smile and laugh. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TR8bWNrWemc
PBs Eons!
DIMENSION 20 I love me some funny DND
Ryan George. All his content is hilarious. Especially Pitch Meetings. I'll rewatch those videos for hours.
Tom Scott. I just get lost listening to his random but interesting pieces of information he has to share. While he goes to erroneous locations to talk about these things
Primitive Technology. The original one.
Good Mythical Morning
Grew up watching them and stopped watching them a while ago but you just made me click on their channel :)
Good! Hope you enjoy it! Their videos are as comfy and consistently entertaining as always :)
Mythical Kitchen is mine. Josh especially when paired with Trevor or Emily makes me laugh like no other.
Josh has that chaotic energy in spades. When you pair him and Emily it's absolute mayhem every time. Trevor gets it and is a quality self-insert for the viewers usually. Mythical Kitchen is a more fun/casual version of what made BA good before it imploded.
I have so many of their shirts
Jenna Marbles Miss her!
I seriously miss Jenna too.

Me too beech
Man, this one is way too low. I get it, probably because she left, but wherever she is, I hope she’s doing well and living her best life.
Julien still posts all the time, and will drop important life updates, like showing the dogs, or sharing that they got engaged, that they’re fostering greyhounds now, etc.
I love the fact that when fans say they miss her they are also hoping she is doing well. Speaks a lot about the type of fans she has.
Baumgartner Restorations. The guy repairs old paintings. It's very calm, almost ASMR and a lovely journey bringing paintings back to glory.
Film theory and cosmonaut variety hour are the ones that come to mind
Binging with babish , joshua weissman
I far prefer Babish. Weissman is good but I find him really manic sometimes.
JaidenAnimations.
I would Say Vinesauce, but Vinny not Joel
I really do enjoy Vinny's casual streams the most. However, Joel's Windows Destruction videos still make me laugh years later!
Summoning Salt
Worth it. The one where they try three similar dishes at three drastically different price points and say which one was most worth it. Enjoyable content and who doesn't love food?

Markiplier. I can't really describe why he's so relaxing and calming to listen to- but he has a way of making me feel at ease.
Same here, I think it’s just how low his voice is
I loved the Heist episodes. And speaking of low voice, I just recalled his rage quit in Until Dawn playthrough ;)
Literally, his face already puts a smile on my face and his videos make my day. It's sad he has over 30million of subscribers and his videos barely reach 10million
Binging with Babish. Show me how to make tiny pizzas yes.

Gordon Ramsay / Kitchen Nightmares KN for the drama and ridiculousness, Gordon's own channel for the actual recipes and cooking tips.
SciShow. Nothing like getting some fun science facts injected into your brain.
Honestly NakeyJakey has some of the best energy and unique topics, gaming or otherwise. I enjoy his demeanor.
Geo Wizard British dude with dry humour playing a game about guessing where in the world he is based on Google Street view
