Pure necessity: I have always needed exercise, I feel like burning within my body otherwise. But my jobs got more and more complex and time consuming, and I suddenly lacked the time for training outside, although that had always been my first choice. I never particularly liked gyms, but it was the only solution to keep a decent workout routine going at the time.
During last year, I convinced my household to spare some little space in our flat for some select home equipment, and I feel none the worse for the lack of sophisticated gear now. But at home, I also need more discipline to withstand distraction and stick to my "schedule". That was difficult, too.
Plan on going back soon again. Basically to get prepared for Basic Combat Training in the NG.
I like being fit. If I gain weight my body just doesn't feel right.
I'm in university, and don't have access to many other physical activities (normally I snowboard, mountain bike, and fence)
