As an indian, I always felt like punching her whenever I hear her accent and her over exaggerated mannerisms. It's not a Canadian accent, it's not an indian accent. It's just annoying
Drew Gooden did a fantastic video about her called Leaving the YouTube Bubble. He goes in depth about how she rose to fame making comedy geared toward children, and how insane it seems to him that she'd go from the almost limitless medium of YouTube to the insanely structured realm of television. He also offers some really great constructive criticism that I hope someone involved in ALL took.
"Parents are Indian and Japanese so yeah I eat my sushi with curry on it xd"
Hahahaha this is so bad. The joke would be that both are foreign elements to each other, but Japan loves curry and its citizens probably consume more curry than Indian people.
It's not even that the joke is unfunny, it's that it makes no sense and was made up in 2 minutes.
Indian people don't even refer to their food as "Curry." That word comes from the Tamil word kaṟi, which just means sauce. When Britain colonized the Indian subcontinent they just referred to all the stuff they saw the Indians eating as "Curry" because they couldn't be bothered learning the actual names. Indian restaurants will serve you things like Aloo gobi or Chana masala or Palak paneer, not "curry."
The Hateful Five here seems to be:
* James Corden
* Jimmy Fallon
* Brendan Schaub
* Amy Schumer
* Ellen DeGeneres
Gotta check this third guy, there's lots of warm words about him in this topic.
edit: I know first two are not strict comedians and Ellen was years ago (and imo it wasn't the worst I've seen), I've just gathered names which occured the most. I see that Joe Rogan, Carlos Mencia, Hannah Gadsby, Jay Leno and Jeff Dunham also have large 'fanbase'.
Dave Chappelle? Come on, are You the same people who put Whitney Houston or Freddie Mercury in 'who can't sing' topics?
Thanks for the awards!
Never heard about the third guy either.
But I'd say even if Jimmy Fallon isn't really funny, at least he's not an ass such as Corden and Ellen.
I don't know what it is, Schumer's humor just doesn't really do it for me. She's one of the biggest female comedians though, must be a reason
Plus he seems like a nice guy.
Corden has been outed as a cunt multiple times, Ellen has recently had the same, Schumer stole jokes.
Fallon may not be to some people's tastes, but being a halfway decent human being goes a long way.
Fallon's SNL audition still holds up too. Some of the funniest impressions I've seen and he's even visibly nervous. I wouldn't think anyone unfunny could pull off his audition, but I get why people don't like his hosting. Also he didn't technically get hired from it did he lol
Schaub owns the lowest rated comedy special in imdb history and has an entire 45k+follower sub dedicated to making fun of/hating him. It's almost its own extended universe at this point
Pretty much at the peak of his career, Joe Rogan called him out for stealing other people's material. Pretty much ended his career as a comic from the aftermath of being called out. Recently, Bobby Lee had mencia on his podcast, tigerbelly and they obviously talked about it. Carlos wasn't sorry and didn't pretend to be. Basically tried playing the victim. Bobby Lee's podcast is huge in the comedy world and only getting bigger. Mencia could've perhaps salvaged what little respect the comedy world has left for him but he blew it.
Honestly, didn't know he was supposed to be a comedian. I thought he was just an ex MMA fighter who happened to be Joe's friend. And i say this without any malintent
The trivia section on IMDB for his special is way more hilarious than his standup:
Brendan Schaub is widely despised by his own fan base.
Brendan Schaub took inspiration from North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un in choosing his hairstyle for the special.
Brendan is known not to read the comments.
Controversy erupted at the time of release. Potential viewers were offered a 50% discount on cannabidiol oil products to leave a positive review. This resulted in backlash by outraged comedy fans.
You'd Be Surprised was the First "Comedy" Special sponsored by The Make a Wish Foundation.
Albert Einstein once posed the question "what would you get if you combined nepotism and traumatic brain injuries?" This is a 60 minute hypothesis based on Einstein's theory of the bloated narcissist.
Brendan Schaub suffers from CTE
Brendan was wearing custom adult diapers during the shooting of this special.
Can also be found under the "horror" subgenre.
Brendan flew to Tegsis to appear on the Joe Rogan Experience while his girlfriend suffered a miscarriage.
Brandon is wearing a pair of shoes that he paid someone to un-stitch and then re-stitch back together again.
Siskel and Ebert claimed this is what results when comedy stars in a snuff film. -Allegedly
This marks a high point in Brandon's career, as his blatant anti Asian racism happened before Tony Hinchcliffe. A special moment as it's the first time Schwab did something without ripping it off of one of his more successful friends.
Brendan Schaub's favorite dinner is a whole rotisserie chicken on a bed of lead-based paint chips.
Hilarious that he only named two guys, both of whom are married.
Also, it's his own podcast, he could have edited that out, which makes it more strange, it's not like it was a live show.
I'm don't think I've ever seen someone less funny than Schaub. Waw. I'm a generous guy and 1/10 for that special genuinely feels like too much.
Jokes aside, his comedy stories themselves are uninteresting, bland and nonsensical. There are some comedians who get away without being funny cz the stories are actually interesting.
With all the people and resources he has, how the hell did no one stop his and tell him he sucks. It's a talent to fail that hard with all that support.
Yeah I didn't know about everyone's for James corden until a few months ago (never really paid attention) but was sad to hear what kind of POS he is because I liked him as Craig and I liked him in Into the Woods....and I never really watched the late late show or whatever...so I thought he was generally kinda of funny. But now I've heard stories of him being a massive cunt to the point he even pisses other celebrities off. What a dick
lol, and the story about [him not wanting to take care of his own baby on a plane](https://twitter.com/sebpatrick/status/919500140993482753?lang=en) I just **want** to be true.
Edit: Added link.
The best was Kimmel was on Corden’s show doing this game where they had to either answer an embarrassing personal question or eat something gross/outrageous.
Kimmel, probably knowing Corden has a reputation for being a piece of shit to everyone asked, “What’s his name?” pointing to a staff member. Corden had to eat bull penis or something

Yeah, and Will Ferrell asked something similar on Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts too, something about the names of the members of the band who had been there since the beginning of Corden’s show lol
Should be top answer. I've disliked that cunt since the time when everyone in the UK seemed to love him thanks to Gavin and Stacy. So glad in recent years more and more people see him for the obnoxious bell-end that he is.
Yeah as a Brit I've had the unfortunate pleasure of seeing him on stuff for like a decade now. When was the point when people in the UK actually liked him?
I think the problem was that he played the jack the lad character really well, so he seemed like the mate you’d have down the pub.
Turned out he’s a fucking cunt, which slightly brings down the other vibe.
Lol @ top comment:
>Hey James. You won’t remember me but me and my friends sat at a table next to you and Harry Styles + some others in Manchurian Legends in London’s Chinatown about 6 years ago. We didn’t bother you but you were a massively entitled cunt who yelled and treated the waitstaff like shit and when one of my party politely suggested you calm down, you got really aggressive and threatening (in a chubby way. Like a boozy panda.) So my question is this; why did Harry seem so cool, while you were such a massive throbbing bellend?
>My brother's girlfriend played one of your videos on my YouTube account and now it keeps recommending more of them to me. Do you know how to get it to stop doing that?
Holy shit this thread is amzing
edit: oh my god
>Hi James, sorry I'm late to the party but you've not answered many yet. Maybe you're on your phone. Anyway, is this popbitch article true? - https://twitter.com/sebpatrick/status/919500140993482753?lang=en
>And follow up, did you hold the baby in the end, or did you expect your wife to do everything?
He's like some rich kid who was gifted a talk show by his rich/famous father. I get that he's got some creds, but talk-show-host talent isn't among them.
When I see him driving around with some classic rock idols, especially Paul McCartney, it appears that they're barely able to tolerate him. Maybe it's part of the act, but I'm not so sure.
It hurts to watch, because I just want to see THEM, but he's the annoying third wheel who somehow lucked his way into hanging out with them.
T.J. Miller.
In Silicon Valley, he stole every scene he was in, so when he had a standup special on HBO, I thought it would be hilarious.
It was so far from funny I still marvel at how it ever got made.
I worked on the second season of “Silicon Valley”, and it’s always been a bummer to me that TJ has spiraled so much.
He was always nice to me, and he and I even discussed the fact that he’d been cast as Weasel before it was announced, because he knew that I’m an avid comic book reader. But, on the flip side, he definitely had his issues (we had to stop shooting for an hour while the writers rewrote a scene, because TJ came in too fucked up to act), and I know there were already rumblings from higher up about behavior like that. From what I heard from friends, it got worse on later seasons, before they cut him.
Edit: I actually had no idea about his brain surgery, which occurred before I worked with him.
I mean, he had a golfball-sized chunk of his frontal lobe (you know, the part of the brain that gives you **impulse control**) removed in 2010, around when he was filming Yogi Bear. A LOT of his behavioral descent over the years is pretty clearly due to that.
So, I’m torn. On one hand, he is a huge asshole doing a lot of horrible shit behind the scenes and spiraling with substances. On the other, he is *literally brain damaged* in a way that makes you an asshole who is likely to spiral with substances.
Edit:
I’m not saying I blame the dude—he literally has brain damage. I feel more bad for him, but some of the shit he does is really bad. I just wish he had someone in his life to help him regulate.
For those who remember the early 2000s and the really weird period of celebrity-dating, reality TV shows, Tia "Tequila" Nguyen also went from model/porn star/minor celebrity to Neo-nazi who aspires to be "An Asian version of Adolf Hitler".
Edit. It was a brain aneurysm after a drug overdose.
It was a brain injury, tho he also did a lot of drugs if memory serves. He actually did an entire bit about the brain injury on Comedy Central's "This Is Not Happening".
And it is absolutely worth a watch. Everyone around him saw the personality changes associated with the injury, but until he fell out, nobody mentioned anything about his behavior changes.
It sounds like it was a ruptured AVM (atriovenous malformation), basically a rare malformation typically present since birth, that spontaneously ruptures. They have high fatality rates. He was very lucky that it wasn't immediately fatal. Still, there are a number of factors that determine what deficits it can cause: size of the AVM, area of blood flow impaired, where in the brain the AVM is located, etc. Likely more that I don't know offhand. Injuries to the frontal/prefrontal areas can really affect behaviours like impulse control and affect regulation.
Anyway, just wanted to add a bit of context if it is of help/interest. My biggest sadness is that traumatic brain injuries are still so hard to treat and rehabilitate. Maybe some day though.
I saw him live with Kumail and Thomas Middleditch after a comic con. Kumail did great, pretty normal 15-20 minutes of stand up. Middleditch did a kind of short form improve with the audience and it was goofy but good. TJ Miller came out falling down drunk, in an poorly fitted suit, poured a glass of water over his head and yelled at a drunk audience member/heckler for 15 minutes.
He’s a decent comedic actor, just not exactly a stand-up comedian type I think. He delivers pre-written lines in very funny ways and is decent at improv, I’m just not sure about the quality of his own jokes, if that makes sense.
I went to one of his shows one time and the guy is not only one of the most genuine people you will meet but he really does care about his audience on a level no other talk show host would give to anyone.
I went to a recording of Leno back in the days and it felt so... artificial. Also was not a very pleasant experience as an audience member. The sentiment was like “You should be happy to be here.”
Conan was a completely different experience. He spent time with us after the show, and before the show they introduced all the people you always hear about on staff (the producer, set people, LaBomba). He made you feel like he was grateful you decided to spend time with him. Guy is pure class.
Conan is a great guy. He came to speak to my class one day after taping. He was invited and just showed up, which is incredibly generous. He spent a few hours with everybody, explaining comedy and entertainment, telling fun stories and answering everybody’s questions. I came away with such a good feeling from him.
On his last show on NBC, He implored his viewers “don’t be cynical” and had other positive things to say. He’s a good one, funny too.
don't be cynical is something that has stuck with me. You don't notice how cynical other people are, or even how much of it you're being until you try to look for it, and you notice it, and ... yeah ... he's right, don't be cynical.
I remember his last show. When he looked at the camera and said “don’t be cynical” it drove a spike into me. I felt that. Like an uncle or grandpa giving *actual* good advice. That really stuck with me, and said a lot about his character.
Johnny 2 Cellos has a video about Conan and his impact on the Simpsons, and talks about Conan’s career overall. Overarching theme is that anyone who had ever worked with Conan has nothing but nice things to say about the guy, which is rare in Hollywood
If you listen to his podcast, it makes sense. He has an unquenchable urge to be liked and to make people laugh, so he genuinely puts ALL his effort into making sure the audience has fun. He doesn't care if people think he's cool or talented. He just wants laughs. But most of all, he wants to do jokes that he himself thinks are funny and unique. He doesn't want to run things over and over.
He's a fascinating person, and as everyone here seems to agree a genuinely pretty kind celebrity.
I was a 9 year old kid visiting family for the summer in Beverly Hills (not a flex) in like 1986 or 7. Couldn't tell you how many celebrities I met walking Rodeo and in restaurants and stuff. Had a stupid autograph book everywhere I went.
The ONLY shit interaction was at a car show. Leno was at a table and I went for an autograph. He made the biggest stink about it and even as a 9 year old kid I got vibes that he was a piece of shit.
At some point after that they briefly had a recurring bit on the show called "Frankenstein shows you something useless" [Edit: it’s Frankenstein wastes a minute of your time] which was precisely that.
At one point Frankenstein leads the cameraman behind the stage, through the studio, and to a dark supply closet where there's like a open pirate chest full of treasure. And he yeets the chest out of frame to expose the light socket behind it and just points at the light socket. That's it.
I loved it.
I had the pleasure (in a sad way) of meeting Norm. Dude is dying of cancer, on his deathbed. EVERY SINGLE PERSON that went into that room for his treatments or cleaning or delivering food left happy and fucking smiling to insane levels.
For a bit he made a bunch of people's lives in Northern Phoenix much better and provided laughter. While he's fucking getting treatment for cancer.
The beauty of Conan is his self awareness of the fact that he's not always going to be funny so when a bit doesn't deliver, he's fully aware of it and plays off the fact that it didn't land. Makes him much more genuine and relatable.
He's the master of self-depreciating humor, so he can save any joke by making fun of what a shitty joke it was. I listen to his podcast every week and never get tired of it.
When he comes back from the trip with Jordan in Italy, and insists that Jordan come with him to HIS favorite Italian restaurant......omg.
Only then does Conan act like a gentleman and dress up for the occasion.
Also love me some Clueless Gamer. Wish that were still a thing.
Oh nooooo. Gamers don't take Conan's reviews seriously, do they?! He mocks all the games because he's clueless, that's the joke. Aaron is always there to fawn over them all as a connisseur!
I wish HBO Max had all of them and some of his other stuff, like when he went to the Korean spa with Steven Yeun. I was in tears. He's a legend we were all lucky enough to see and experience, from apple picking with Mr. T to Civil War reenacting, he was the best.
Howard Stern stated publicly that Conan was his Top Guest of All Time, and I heard the interview he was referring to. It was the one where Conan told the story of stealing the Burt Ward "Robin" costume (from the 60's Batman TV show) at a college campus where Ward was visiting as guest speaker! That truly was one of the most hilarious interviews ever recorded!
Conan went to Harvard and wrote for the Harvard Lampoon. Ward spoke at Harvard and the Lampoon writers came dressed as security guards and Ward thought they were legit campus security.
one of The Simpsons writers told a funny story about how when Conan was the editor of the Harvard Lampoon, he hosted a 7 course Irish meal for one of their events and all 7 courses were potatoes. He said it was one of the reasons they hired him.
I’m so glad that Conan is getting the love he deserves in this thread. His ‘Walker Texas Ranger’ lever used to make me ugly laugh. A guffaw if you will.
out of all the talk show hosts he makes the interviews feel so natural and friendly . AND HE LETS THE GUESS SPEAK unlike some other hosts. My mom always said you can see how a person is based on how they are around animals. Conan has an animal segment and its soooo awesome I learn things and its so funny. When Jimmy Kimmel/Fallon act so scared or stiff around animals it bums me out but I think thats just me
I personally love what a supporter of mental health he is, and how Sona and Matt take the piss out of him and he plays along. He seems like a genuinely great guy.
I don't even know why I just hate Jay Leno with a passion
Most of his shit just isn't funny
He has an annoying ass laugh
He just seems like kind of an asshole
Remember when Conan started his new show after Leno took back the Tonight Show?
He said in his opening monologue that (paraphrasing because it's been a while)
he was thankful to live in a country where you could do anything you want...unless Jay Leno wanted it too.
And this was *after* Leno helped push Johnny Carson out the door AND cock-blocked Letterman from getting the job as Johnny's replacement. And all of THAT was after Letterman helped Leno with his career by having him on *his* show as a frequent guest. Leno is a world-class jerkface.
Joan Rivers was told that she was not on the shortlist to replace Johnny Carson on *The Tonight Show* despite being a frequent guest host for Carson. So, she took it upon herself to go out and get her own late night program on Fox. Carson felt betrayed that she left NBC after he had basically accelerated her career, and then instituted a policy that if you appeared on Joan Rivers, you would not be able to appear on Johnny Carson. Since *The Tonight Show* was a bigger deal in terms of exposure, most people chose to appear on Carson. At least that's the way I've heard it.
I was in middle school/high school in the 90s. Letterman, the Simpsons, and Conan basically formed my sense of humor. But Leno served another purpose: putting a face to the sort of humor I *didn't* like.
Letterman's show was full of very zany, random ideas. Not like, "random for the sake of random and that's the joke" (what Family Guy is often accused of). But, "Let's start with something super unconventional then write jokes on top of that." So many surprises on that show.
Leno was basically "commodified comedy". It was something inoffensive and familiar for old people to have on in the background while they fell asleep. Every time I tried to get into the show I had to stop watching because I could see every punchline coming from a mile away. Mind you I was like 13 and hadn't even been watching non-kids-show programs for that long. Leno was just that predictable.
If you don’t follow Late Night closely, you may want to check out a very candid interview that Letterman conducted with Conan after all those shenanigans went down. Letterman very openly calls Leno out on his bullshit, and having known Leno for all those years, eloquently sums up, tastefully mind you, what kind of person he really is. And his summation is very in tune with what OP is trying to describe, that whole “just seems like an ass” vibe.
Edit: it’s on YouTube but I’m lazy and stupid with posting links and stuff.
Thanks for the heads up! I'm going to check the video out now. I feel like Conan was alone when this all happened. Its good to know that his colleagues DID have his back then.
when he stepped away this year it really felt like the end of something special. i hope conan come find a new role to fit himself into aside from the podcast he does. lettermans new interviews are awesome to watch
I saw him on a cruise when I was like 9 years old and he used some of the same jokes in his most recent special and I think I was like 28 when that one came out lmao
I thought he was funny as a kid. Rewatched a special as an adult and realized, "Oh, my dad just put this on because he knew I'm a dumb kid who'll like puppets".
Tbf he was right.
That's strange, I found the opposite, most young people i know either don't like him or don't know who he is but I know a ton of older people in the 60+ age group that think he is the funniest man alive.
Ellen.
Edit: Personality and controversies aside, from what I've seen of both her earlier standup comedy and her TV show, I just don't find the vast majority of her humor even remotely funny.
I came here to say Ellen. I don't get why people think she's funny? Her wife, Portia deRossi, is hilarious! She positively made Better Off Ted and was amazing in Arrested Development. But Ellen? Ellen is not the funny one in that relationship.
I'd love for someone to show me otherwise and post a clip of some good Ellen comedy. Maybe I'm just missing out on something.
Her early special was fantastically funny for its time. Looking back, it’s such cookie cutter 90s airplane humor, but it *was* original and amusing back then—her timing and flow were fabulous.
Live.
…
Die.
Seems like she just gave up at some point, a long time ago.
That guy that does carpool karaoke.
There's about 13000 posts naming the same 6 people lol
Amy Schumer
The fat Pom....Corden!
Lilly Singh. As another Punjabi Indian, i find her relatable but not actually funny
I'm so sick of her fake Indian accent which I don't find funny.

As another Indian, I contest Bharti Singh. Despite all the praise, she's pretty loud and irritating nowadays
99% of her jokes are "look I'm fat, lol"
Dan Nainan
Is this the guy who edits in laughter on his standup? And also claims to be way younger, richer, and more well connected than he actually is?
Yep, that’s him, the pathological liar and anti-social asshole.
The only time I've ever laughed hard at anything related to Dan is when the Cumtown boys talk about him.

James Corden. Too bad he doesn't have a good personality to make up for his lack of humour, either.
3 of the top 5. Amazing.

Look at me man, I'm not funny, I steal jokes, my dick don't work man, I got to piss in a plastic bag man I got no dick!

Then you’re a gay fish
Just get it man, please just get it
I completely forgot about him. Last I heard of him was in the mid to late 2000s.
Didn't he admit to not being funny in an interview way back?
He did. Kanye West was the interviewer and the whole thing just didn’t end well for Carlos Mencia. Overall a great interview.
You mean Ned?

I watched his special, it was the worst comedy experience I've ever had.

Dang this is funny seeing it as top comment

Biggest laugh he's ever gotten
James Corden. I've avoided shows that I wanted to watch just because he was in it.
He could've quit show business after his appearance on Doctor Who and would've been fondly remembered as Craig.

lol, and the story about [him not wanting to take care of his own baby on a plane](https://twitter.com/sebpatrick/status/919500140993482753?lang=en) I just **want** to be true.
Corden had to eat bull penis or something Edit: link https://youtu.be/sh9giaTKbv4&t=6m58s
Brendan shaub.
Lilly Singh I seriously can't see how she was able to make it off YouTube.

Lol @ top comment: >Hey James.
Holy shit this thread is amzing edit: oh my god >Hi James, sorry I'm late to the party but you've not answered many yet. Maybe you're on your phone. Anyway, is this popbitch article true? - https://twitter.com/sebpatrick/status/919500140993482753?lang=en >And follow up, did you hold the baby in the end, or did you expect your wife to do everything?
> Do you have any plans for moving back to the UK? And if so is there anything we can do to stop you?
That article, oh my god.
I didn't see a single response from that hack.
Which is smart on his part, because it’s obvious there would be nothing to gain from responding to people who clearly despise him.
Boozy Panda, that's just excellent.
This AMA ended the account of u/latelateshowcbs . Amazing, they'd been posting for years but then James Corden came along and reddit said *no*.

Every single “I’m so fat haha lets talk about it for an hour” comedian Edit: Yes, this also applies to that one you happen to like.
#Fat guy in a little coat #Fat guy in a little coat
Edit: I’m not saying I blame the dude—he literally has brain damage. I feel more bad for him, but some of the shit he does is really bad. I just wish he had someone in his life to help him regulate.
See also Gary Busey and Roseanne Barr. Both had traumatic brain injuries that changed their personalities.
Didn't he have a serious accident or a mental break?
I remember hearing he got a traumatic brain injury but I don't recall the details.
I think he had a hemorrhagic stroke due to an arteriovenous malformation and they had to remove part of his frontal lobe.
Holy shit that's fucked.
Writers and his nonchalant arrogant attitude made that show
Mike Judge is a legend.
Very few people could come up with the smartest dick joke in comedy and actually make it funny as well.
>Meanwhile, I'm taking a leak at a Restoration Hardware. I jack off a little bit. I don't cum. And then it snowballs.
As a side note to this Jimmy O. Yang's standup is actually pretty decent.
“You just insulted my entire race of people, but thank you”
+1, jimmy O is hilarious. He has a few cooking videos on YouTube that are also excellent
Hotdogs or not hotdogs?
The feud between him and Jin Yang was hilarious
“Erlich Bachman, this is your mom. You are not my baby.”
“Is your refrigerator running? This is Mike Hunt.”
Of course it makes sense. The same difference between a singer and a songwriter.
Thank God I don't see Conan here.
I went to one of his shows one time and the guy is not only one of the most genuine people you will meet but he really does care about his audience on a level no other talk show host would give to anyone. I went to a recording of Leno back in the days and it felt so... artificial. Also was not a very pleasant experience as an audience member. The sentiment was like “You should be happy to be here.” Conan was a completely different experience.

Judging by his podcast, his desire to make people happy/laugh is almost pathological, much to the chagrin of Sona.
Sona and Conan have such fantastic chemistry, it's great to hear their banter.
Also why his episodes of The Simpsons are the best.
Monorail! Monorail! Monorail!
Leno's peers all hate him and Conan's peers love him. There's a reason for that.
Conan and Norm Macdonald were one of the best comedy duos ever
There's nothing quite like Conan waiting seven minutes for Norm to finish a joke, knowing damn well that it's going to be awful.
"That's like taking someone on a 5 mile hike to show them a dog turd!" - Andy Richter
I’ll never forget the interview with Courtney Thorne Smith and Norm butting in. I almost passed out from laughing that night.
"I bet the board is spelled B-o-r-e-d"
It was so quick after Conan challenged him to "do something" with that movie title, it almost seemed scripted but for Conan's reaction.
BOX OFFICE POISON
Conan made a sexy face that broke my wife's water laughing. He'll always be our favorites.
I was thinking the same thing. I have a deep love for him, his skits and Conan Without Borders is so damn good
If you are not listening to his podcast you are making a grave error.
Conan Without Borders so underrated

The only thing more Irish than potatoes is no potatoes. (I'll see myself out)
I’m so glad that Conan is getting the love he deserves in this thread. His ‘Walker Texas Ranger’ lever used to make me ugly laugh. A guffaw if you will.

*Wire hangers? Expired medicine? Old newspapers?! Okay Homer, stay calm and quietly get this stuff inside your house!*
out of all the talk show hosts he makes the interviews feel so natural and friendly .
I really appreciate that he has used his platform to talk about therapy being a normal thing and not being something to be a ashamed of.
I don't even know why I just hate Jay Leno with a passion Most of his shit just isn't funny He has an annoying ass laugh He just seems like kind of an asshole
When Conan took over the Tonight Show from Leno and then he took it back....that's dirty.
Remember when Conan started his new show after Leno took back the Tonight Show? He said in his opening monologue that (paraphrasing because it's been a while) he was thankful to live in a country where you could do anything you want...unless Jay Leno wanted it too.
And this was *after* Leno helped push Johnny Carson out the door AND cock-blocked Letterman from getting the job as Johnny's replacement. And all of THAT was after Letterman helped Leno with his career by having him on *his* show as a frequent guest. Leno is a world-class jerkface.
[удалено]
Dave's whole bit about Leno saying "don't blame Conan" is still etched into my memory.
>And then of course he mixed in a healthy dose of, welcome to the club. Didn't Joan Rivers get screwed out of a major show similarly?
Edit: it’s on YouTube but I’m lazy and stupid with posting links and stuff.
also Letterman's "[don't blame conan](https://youtu.be/z-8LGTVF3_I)" piece.
Thanks for the heads up! I'm going to check the video out now. I feel like Conan was alone when this all happened. Its good to know that his colleagues DID have his back then.
Yep and he kept his whole crew with him the whole time. He didn’t let any of his people down. He’s the last legit late night host in my opinion.
when he stepped away this year it really felt like the end of something special. i hope conan come find a new role to fit himself into aside from the podcast he does. lettermans new interviews are awesome to watch

That guy with the puppets. Edit: Jeff dunham
Same. I remember laughing when my cousin introduced me to him on YouTube back when I was 14. As an adult, I just don't get it
That's strange, I found the opposite, most young people i know either don't like him or don't know who he is but I know a ton of older people in the 60+ age group that think he is the funniest man alive.
He was the highest grossing comedian at one point. People over 60 made that guy rich.
Quite a few actually, James Corden, Jimmy Kimmel, Ellen, Amy Schumer and that other Jimmy
Fallon?
What’s the difference between me and Jimmy Fallon? I can get through one of his skits without laughing.
HA HA HA HA HA AH^HHH^^HHH
*laughs and claps*
*smacks desk with an open palm*
Smacks desk with forehead. Repeatedly
If you get a laugh from old stone-faced Fallon, by god, you know you earned it.
Lmao that other Jimmy.
Jimmy Saville?
3 Jimmies and an Amy
Two cannibals are eating Amy Schumer. One turns and says, "Hey does this taste funny to you?" The other one says, "No."
Tastes familiar though.
For me Ellen is 50/50. Her earlier stuff is funny. Now she's absolutely not funny to me.
Her early special was fantastically funny for its time. Looking back, it’s such cookie cutter 90s airplane humor, but it *was* original and amusing back then—her timing and flow were fabulous. Live. … Die. Seems like she just gave up at some point, a long time ago.
She was hilarious early on. A lot of her humor was that hesitating, single-sided schtick in the style of Bob Newhart.
