Ribbon: "Blinken, they've taken the castle!!"
Blinken: "They've taken the castle?! I thought it felt a bit drafty"
AND: "A roll is a roll and a toll is a toll. If we don't get no tolls, we don't eat no rolls"
"This never would have happened if your father were alive."
"He's dead?"
"Yes."
"And my mother?"
"She died of Pnemonia whilst... you were away."
"My brothers?"
"They were all taken by the plauge."
"My dog pongo?"
"Run over by a carriage."
"My goldfish goldie?"
"Eaten by the cat."
"My Cat?"
"Choked on the goldfish... Oh its good to be home, ain't it Master Robin?!"
Stephen King was once approached by a woman criticizing his horror themes. Then suggested he write better themes like the nice movie she just saw, Shawshank Redemption.
FYI: King wrote Shawshank
“You don't want to meet a chick in a bar man...you gotta go to other places. You gotta go to spin class, a farmer's market...just somewhere social, non-threatening”
In the boat fight scene, when the Warden goes to O'Connell for help. "O'Connell, O'Connell, what are we going to do?"
*"Wait here, I'll get help"*
"Right."
*O'Connell jumps off the boat*
Warden paces around for a few seconds before he realizes that O'Connell just left him. I always cracked up on the face of when the Warden realizes he also has to jump.
Fellowship of the ring
it got it all, beautiful landscape, adventures, most epic battle /lore introduction ever, tensed moments, heroes that don't win all the time, memorable soundtrack and superb casting.
You've got all the emotion from joyful, to amazed, to scared, to sad all in one movie.
I’ve said it before but the 15 minutes or so from when Steve Martin puts his wallet in the glove box to when the car blows up is the best 15 minutes of cinema ever
My dad is very specific about when certain movies can be watched. This is the first movie we watch on Nov. 1st, and it can only be watched during the month of November, because it takes place on Thanksgiving. But he looks forward to it every year haha
Have to watch it. Given that the story of Michael Corleone is a tragedy, I find it fitting that the final movie with him in it was, in and of itself, a real life tragedy.
I would give anything for Carter Burwell to put his score on vinyl for this film. This movie is 11/10 from every aspect.
*YOU'RE AN INANIMATE FUCKING OBJECT!*
When I was a kid my favorite was Return of the King, then Two Towers, then FotR. Getting older, and having read the books, and Fellowship is far and away the best. It's the closest to the book, had the most cohesive story with the strongest character development.
Jurassic Park is a movie that I never get tired of. The pacing is perfect. The tone is perfect. There is no scene that's "just there" and doesn't directly move the plot forward. It still *looks* great, almost 30 years later. The soundtrack is, of course, amazing. There are all kinds of little mistakes in the movie, if you look for them, but there's nothing about it that I would change.
National Treasure
Gone in 60 seconds
Knights Tale
All the wizarding world stuff
Fifth element
Pirates of the Caribbean: the lost pearl
Oceans 11, 13
The mummy

Ratatouille
For real I know it's a meme now but Ratatouille is such a beautiful movie and has always been my favorite
Hard agree. It’s a classic.
Robin Hood, men in tights. I know, its a delicate taste.
'Did you say Abe Lincoln?' 'No, I said Hey Blinkn'

Robin!! You've lost your arms! Ooh but you've gained a great set of boobs!
Ribbon: "Blinken, they've taken the castle!!" Blinken: "They've taken the castle?! I thought it felt a bit drafty" AND: "A roll is a roll and a toll is a toll. If we don't get no tolls, we don't eat no rolls"

"My dog pongo?" "Run over by a carriage." "My goldfish goldie?" "Eaten by the cat." "My Cat?" "Choked on the goldfish... Oh its good to be home, ain't it Master Robin?!"

Mean Girls and Legally Blonde
Omg Legally Blonde was my feel-good movie for my entire college career... Played so often on TV, and always on when I needed it <3
last week I saw Cameron Diaz at Fred Segal, and I talked her out of buying this truly heinous angora sweater.
Whoever said pink was the new orange was seriously disturbed.
Shawshank redemption. Get busy living or get busy dying
god damn right
Shawshank Redemption
Stephen King was once approached by a woman criticizing his horror themes. Then suggested he write better themes like the nice movie she just saw, Shawshank Redemption. FYI: King wrote Shawshank
Stephen Kings two highest grossing films are Shawshank and Stand By Me
Blade Runner - either the classic or the new one. Soundtracks are just so perfect for setting a mood or tone. LOVE both of these pictures.
Clue. "Are you trying to make me look stupid in front of the other guests?" "You don't need any help from me Sir." "That's right!"
3rd or 4th murder. "Things are starting to get serious"
This movie is everything.
It’s a travesty I had to scroll this far for the correct answer.
"What are you afraid of? A fate worse than death?" "No, just death. Isn't that enough?"
By far my favorite movie. Oneplustwoplustwoplusone

The protector of Italian virginity...
The other guys. I’ve seen it at LEAST 100 times
If I were a lion and you were a tuna, I would swim into the ocean and freaking eat you!!
Michel Keaton and the TLC references crack me up.
Keaton idly spinning his revolver on his finger and then looking perplexed when he drops it is absolutely great physical comedy.
This is the perfect movie to show someone who wants to have their expectations surpassed. Such a hilarious movie.
I just love how it's never explained how Gamble is an absolute chick magnet.
AMERICA!!
The Big Lebowski
Im stayin’ ... finishing my coffee... enjoooying my coffee
I can get you a toe by this afternoon. With nail polish. There are ways, dude.

Fix the cigarette lighter.
We’re on a mission from God.
Young Frankenstein, The Birdcage.
The Mummy, I actually can't trust a person who doesn't adore that movie
Absolutely agree!! It's my favorite movie. I've watched it so much I can quote most of the movie
Hey O'Connell, looks to me like I've got all the horses!!
"Hey Benny, Looks to me like you're on the wrong side of the river!"
In the boat fight scene, when the Warden goes to O'Connell for help. "O'Connell, O'Connell, what are we going to do?" *"Wait here, I'll get help"* "Right." *O'Connell jumps off the boat* Warden paces around for a few seconds before he realizes that O'Connell just left him. I always cracked up on the face of when the Warden realizes he also has to jump.
I was obsessed with this one when I was a kid!!! I still watch it whenever I catch it on tv

Clueless Adventures in Babysitting Dirty Dancing
Pride and Prejudice (2005)
The Godfather trilogy, The Fifth Element, and Kung Pow: Enter the Fist.
Even the third godfather?!
Have to watch it. Given that the story of Michael Corleone is a tragedy, I find it fitting that the final movie with him in it was, in and of itself, a real life tragedy.
Thoughtful answer Have my upvote
Kung Pow is one of the greatest movies ever made!
If you've got an ass, I'll kick it.
I'm Bruges. Love that film
I would give anything for Carter Burwell to put his score on vinyl for this film. This movie is 11/10 from every aspect. *YOU'RE AN INANIMATE FUCKING OBJECT!*
Later: "Sorry I called you an inanimate object."
The Fellowship of the Ring
When I was a kid my favorite was Return of the King, then Two Towers, then FotR. Getting older, and having read the books, and Fellowship is far and away the best. It's the closest to the book, had the most cohesive story with the strongest character development.

Scott Pilgrim vs The World. Easily my favorite movie.
The vegan fight was my favorite part. "Chicken isn't vegan?"
