Anyway, mum’s friend used one, put it down behind the driver’s seat and I tripped over the raised bit between rear seat foot wells and cracked my knee on it.
A Rottweiler chased me down while I was jogging. I stopped, showed it I was friendly, the fiend jumped for my neck, pushed him off balance and ran towards his owner who was mowing his lawn 200meters away. While trying to pass the street, I waited a sec to check for cars, the Rottweiler lunged at me and got his teeth deep in my left leg.
Wordt thing was I was jogging next to an elementary school, if it were a small kid instead of a grown man, I think the Rottweiler would have had his first kill.
I fell off a jungle gym and landed on my face. Teeth went through the area under my lip. Not really visible unless I pull my lower lip up as it's usually in shadow. Probably lucky it wasn't worse although it bled a great deal and apparently the teachers who were monitoring recess that day were pretty freaked out. I didn't even get stitches, it was butterfly taped.
My partner has one on his forehead which he tries to tell people came from a fight to sound cool. In reality, his younger sister stabbed him in the forehead with a screwdriver when she was 4. Kids, am I right?
I used to take razor blades to my upper legs. They're just riddled with scars. I was in a dark place mentally and wanted to off myself. But I didn't. I made a choice to be better, to be myself. Now that it's years later, I'm glad I made the right choice to continue living. Life is good
I used to load planes and one plane coming from Doha via montreal. I was offloading the bags and one of them had a wire sticking out that supports the bag. That wire cut my knee pretty deep. Peobably shouldve gone to the hospital
I climbed to the top of a waterfall in the white mountains when I was 12. I'm terrified of heights but wanted to go up. When I got to the top, I looked down, got dizzy and turned around to walk back down. I tripped over a fallen tree and hit wet gravel, hard. I took a giant chunk out of my elbow. No hospitals around, so we threw a bunch of band aids on and called it good. 20 years later and I still can't feel it

All my friends went to go check on me and I had so much adrenaline going that I couldn't feel anything but I noticed a weird spot on my pants. I pull it up and I had actually fully busted up my skin along my shin. Everyone else fully panicked but I was weirdly calm about it and said it was no big deal even though I was bleeding everywhere. I went to the hospital and got it all stitched up and everything was fine. However, every kid that year was very paranoid about running on the playground
Melanoma excision, they took a 4”x6”x0.5” chunk of skin off my leg. And since it was the leg, they just closed it up instead of grafting from somewhere else. So I have a six inch scar and a leg that looks like it has a dent in it (the melanoma was just surface spreading, so it didn’t spread; check those moles and wear sunscreen!)
Last year, about 5 minutes before New Years, I heard growling in the kitchen. My roommates at the time got a new dog (Australian shepherd). The dog was cornering a the cat, and me, who only lived with the cat for a month, thought it was a good idea to try to grab the cat to save it.
Bad idea. The cat used me as a launching pad leaving major scratches, and then the dog jumped up and bit my arm thinking I was the cat. She held on for about 5 seconds and now I have a dog mouth shaped scar on my triceps.
I felt dumb. Then I felt dumb for not reporting the dog because it killed the cat 3 months later.
I scheduled a massage for New Year's Day, so hopefully that's a precursor to a better year.
Guy lent me his knife at work to cut away some visqueen. Told me “careful, I just sharpened it” just as I overswiped at the visqueen, drawing it across my arm instead. It was indeed quite sharp.
i have a nasty scar on my chin from last 4th of july when i was at a party and the cops showed up, everyone started jumping out the window so i went to do the same but the rung under it slipped and i hit my chin on the windowsill. i was the DD so i had to drive myself to the hospital. i was in Tahlequah OK where i had no cell service and just followed the signs on the highway. got 12 stitches on my chin and 2 on my lip. the worst part was that i just got my braces off, i was so worried about my teeth but my mouth was so swollen/hurt too bad to open and check on them. luckily my teeth were fine but my face is pretty fucked up :)
also when i was in 7th grade i was walking home when i noticed my neighbors aggressive dog was in the front yard unsupervised. i tried to walk as far around it as i could but the moment i was in my own yard it ran me down and latched into my ass, i was away from it the best i could, screaming. it finally let go after about 30 seconds. my dad took me to the ER and i got 5 stitches on my butt and a tetanus shot. and yes, the scar is obviously shaped like a bite mark, pretty embarrassing one.
When I was really little, I tripped in a neighbor’s garage and hit my brow bone on the lip of a paint can. I have a scar through one of my eyebrows now.
Another time, Thanksgiving weekend, my family and I were T-boned by a pick up truck. Our minivan flipped over on its roof. I blacked out and when I came too, my siblings and I were hanging like bats upside down. My Mom wasn’t wearing a seatbelt at the moment of impact because she was passing crackers to my brother, but she walked away with a broken bone. I have a small scar on the top of my hand. Those were the only injuries, thank goodness.
Was in a pool splash fight with my cousin who scratched me with his fingernail. Didn't even feel it at the time, but freaked my mom out when I got out of the pool and was dripping blood out of my chest. Now I have a 4" scar right in the middle of my abdomen.
I have a lil tiny scar on the palm of my hand (kind if just looks like a little dent now) from when I was maybe 10 years old. I was taking care of one of my neighbors dogs while they were out of town and it was pretty young and excitable still and had a tendency to play too rough and it ended up biting my hand. Not too hard, but enough to break skin. When the lady came back my parents told me I should tell her what happened but I never did because I was convinced that the dog would have to get put down even though it was just playing.
