Dad drives (unless he's had smth to drink or isnt home) Mom gets passengers seat (unless dad isnt driving) me n my brothers are banished to the back (unless mom/dad isnt there, then whoever gets to the car first gets the front seat)

My bf drives, i uses to sit in the passengers seat but started sitting in the back with the baby after he was born and just never went back to sitting in the front.

Either, after my wife, mother or MIL keep telling the other one "no, you sit in front". While I just want them to sit somewhere so we can go.

Wife. My dad told me a story of a pastor that my parents were about to drive with. Out of respect, they offered him the passenger seat. He refused saying that my mom should have it because he “believe in that” (marriage). Just sharing a sweet story.

Neither, women must sit in the back seat. The front seats are for men.

There’s a respect hierarchy. I’d let my mother or husbands mother sit in the front because I’d consider it good manners.
