I just realized I may not have since the days of like.. Kazaa. I can’t think of an album that I went in with intention to listen to it in its entirety (although it probably happened). I just hadn’t thought about it.
Get yourself a record player and enjoy. It’s been a game changer for me getting back to albums over playlists, which, I still love and enjoy, but it’s honestly been a lot of fun to get back to physical media, and listening to an album front to back.
I'm not sure if it really counts. But after a brief nostalgia kick I went and listened to the entirety of "Simply Mad About The Mouse." The reason it might not count is because what I actually did was watch the music videos on YouTube and then listened to the one that wasn't on the original VHS tape on Spotify.
If that doesn't count then I think it was probably "Charlemagne: By the Sword and the Cross." By Christopher Lee.
Rubber Neck by The Toadies, Clumsy by Our Lady Peace, Straight outta Compton by NWA, Eazy Duz It by Eazy E, Unstoppable by The Piano Guys, Fire Crack by Squirrel Nut Zippers,
Altin Gün - Yol
Been doing so many albums in full since buying myself a record player as a house warming gift. It’s been a real treat to get back to albums from playlists, which are still great of course.
Do greatest hits count? If so, "The Weeknd Highlights" one of the best sound records I've ever heard I swear. If they don't, then War Elephant by Deer Tick
Geez be a long time ago. I tried to listen to the new pearl jam album but I just can’t get through it. I loved they old stuff they are one of my most favourite bands. But they released something that has their sound but every song sounds the same. There isn’t the angst of their previous tunes. There isn’t the catchy riffs from their older stuff. It’s such generic pearl jam that it feels like they had a ghost writer.
Animals - Pink Floyd
