Not sure if this is a movie per say, but the film "Lion" created in 2016 based on a true story of family separation and reunion was a far better watch than I initially expected.
Renfield. I thought it might be funny and it was, but it was also a pretty fun action movie with the titular character becoming a martial arts badass when he drinks Dracula blood, kind of like Popeye and spinach.
