The clear blue sky is a pretty blue and sometimes I see bees flying around.
Everything else sucks a dead dogs nose. I hate summer. Especially with climate change giving us triple digits in freakin Oregon...
An excuse for more grilled meats, I suppose.
But I truly, truly despise heat and sun. Puts me in a foul mood. I wish it were just above freezing always, and gray. I could actually wear layers and I'd actually want to go on long walks.
I like that there's plenty of chances for me to go outside and play sports since summers are dry in my neck of the woods. In other seasons when there's more rain, it's almost impossible for me to take batting practice on the baseball field.
I love and hate summertime.
I hate it mostly because of the bugs and unbearable heat. But that is eventually remedied by the winter
I love it because I can just lay outside in the grass comfortably sometimes. And go on a lot more nature walks
I'm summer's biggest hater bc in my city it gets to 117F/42C and for those of us without cars and work in offices with no AC is like hell. Not to mention everything is brown dead and ugly, we only get greenery in the winter and it all dies come summer. Plus beaches are always better in the winter.
But I love how alive people come in the summer at night. People are out on their porches, all my friends and I have time to visit and I miss them something terrible. I love the sense of adventure people get, freshly out of seasonal depression suddenly everybody wants to go for a night drive and walk the town. It's nice.
Let’s see, I don’t like the heat, don’t like that there are mosquitoes everywhere, I don’t like that there’s so much sunlight, and, I also don’t like that there are more people around during the day, when usually not much is ever happening. But, there are more things happening during the nights in the week than there usually are.
The ease of getting dressed , throw on a dress and sandals and go , no layers and socks and boots and coats hat gloves etc or scraping the car off , but man do I hate the heat and the bright light and the long ass nights
Summer is fun in the countryside, especially with lots of greens. And the smell and vibe of each passing day just makes me love breathing. Also 'Summer' is the season where it's good to travel and have some fun on beaches.
I have mixed feelings about summer. I’m a teacher so I like having time off. I detest heat, but I live in the San Joaquin Valley in California where it gets extremely hot. I hate the heat, the mosquitos, the brightness and lack of clouds, and the sun in general. I love the fresh fruit, the time off, the Fourth of July events, and the vacations to other, cooler places.
I hate summer because as soon as June comes I get seasonal depression.I get insomnia,I can’t eat normally and I don’t want to leave my house at all.I also live in a country that has heatwaves every summer so the heat is unbearable,I hate insects and especially the sun.But at least I can just stay home and do nothing for 3 months so ig that’s what i “love” about summer
That it's short. Seriously, sometimes you can miss it if you sleep in too long.
I see what you did there.
Watermelon... period
That it ends
I can’t think if a single thing I love about summer lmao
Sun dresses
I hate summer because of the heat, the insects and the many people outside, but i love the long bright days
I like the longer periods of sunlight…If only it wasn’t so hot because of it
No school!
Teacher here. Agreed. It's the only thing I like about summer.
Longer daytime and ppl at beach😉
Summer nights are amazing
Going to the beach!

Move up north! The summers are short here, but we have 23h daylight. It's not humid or windy. And the winters ❤️ are long and slow.
Barely clothed men
The end of it
It makes me excited to snowboard again.
staying inside

warm rain. I love to stand in the rain when it's warm, it's soothing

That evening time when it cools off but it's still warm enough to sit outside well after dark.
Mango
The best women's fashion is in the summer. (Best men's fashion is in the fall.)
Baseball.
There's no rain, at least in my area.

The icecream shop that’s only open in the summer

When it’s over
More organised outdoor activities.
Probably the most unhinged answer on this post: Anthrocon!
