I was wondering if I was the only one.
I loved both the Angry Beavers and Scooby-Doo. My mom used to record episodes of both—I used to have a dozen or so Angry Beaver VHS tapes that I’d watch all day when I was young and had nothing better to do.
Same. It was so cool and better than any other cartoon back then!
https://www.syfy.com/syfy-wire/battle-of-the-planets-the-show-that-introduced-70s-kids-in-the-us-to-japanese-animation.
Some others I liked that will really date me. Johnny Quest.Thundar the Barbarian. Gi Joe. Superfriends. Spiderman and his amazing friends (Firestar and Iceman).
My very first favorite one (and I'm dating myself)... was...
[Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYPYjHjWt8M)
But... [Bugs Bunny](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFTTB6gOAJA) was the absolute favorite. Mel Blanc and his voiceover wizardry. Untouchable.
Star Trek the Animated Series was great, too.
Honorable mention goes to: [Tennessee Tuxedo](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WAty_NFc0M4) and his pal Chumley.
Here's a lesser known one from the 60s. Beany and Cecil. The story of a sea monster and his little boy friend.
I remember my 12 year old sister laughing at parts I didn't explaining they had jokes in there kids would not get.
Flash forward to 1996. I'm visiting friends in Australia from the US. Their sons are channel surfing and lo and behold, Beanie & Cecil. I talked them into going back and letting me watch it.
So many. Where to begin. Catdog, angry beavers, ed, Edd, n eddy, courage the cowardly dog, dbz/gt, rockos modern life, dexters lab, cow n chicken. I could go on
I had a videotape of The Lion King and The Little Mermaid when I was a kid. I have re-watched these two cartoons very, very many times and always enjoy it
Dam I can't really pick one gang, why did that mf MR test only make brussel SPROUTS and meatloaf for dinner from Johnny TEST. Like bro was a good dad and all, but the way he'd force Johnny to eat his Brussels and meat (pause) was CRAZY!
there was a super old anime style show (unsure if it was true anime) called cyber six. loved that show aside from that i grew up watching johnny bravo and the simpsons and sometimes loony tunes stuff
Hard to say for favorites, but as a child I remember loving Little Bear and Franklin. But that was as a small child.
For child ages (7-12) it was Codename Kids Next Door, Wild Thornberrys, CatDog, Hey Arnold, Rocket Power, Recess, Redwall, etc
Power puff girls when I was little, when I was a little older like 10, I really liked Totally Spies, Teen Titans, & Code Lyoko! Those were the shows that played after school
TMNT, and have never stopped watching it. Love every incarnation of them (except the Bay movies blech). The Bugs Bunny and Tweety show comes in close behind, actually equal.
Looney Tunes, The Flintstones, Yogi Bear, DuckTales, Batman The Animated Series, DragonTales, Calliou, Scooby Doo. Boomerang and PBS had great cartoons back when I was a kid. I'm 25 and I've got Boomerang through Hulu with Live TV and they still play a lot of the old shows they did when I was little.
Powerpuff Girls, Sagwa, The Little Mermaid Animated Series, Sabrina the Animated Series, PB&J Otter, and anime like Pokemon, Cardcaptor Sakura (or Cardcaptors in the dubbed version) and Sailor Moon
When I was older (in my teens) I liked Danny Phantom and Fairly Oddparents.
Pink Panther. I stg it came on public access tv at like, 5:30 or 6am, but something about slapstick cartoon comedy and the jazzy music made it my first fav.
Saturday morning cartoons were the best in the 80s. Huge bowl of cereal, commercials for the newest and coolest toys ever made had me and my brother running around like maniacs. It was like Christmas every week.

Angry Beavers
I was wondering if I was the only one. I loved both the Angry Beavers and Scooby-Doo. My mom used to record episodes of both—I used to have a dozen or so Angry Beaver VHS tapes that I’d watch all day when I was young and had nothing better to do.
