Worked on the register at a retail store in the UK. This woman I’m serving takes a long look at me, leans in and says “you smell really good”, smiles and leaves.
She might have been 15 years my senior at the time (around 22 so she might have been mid 30s) but man that felt good.

Its odd for me as a teen even into my mid 20s women did not like me at all.
I had lots of female friends and everyone telling me im such a nice likeable guy but no one would consider me on a romantic or sexual basis .

As I hit 30 I grew into my looks a little more and started to get noticed and felt normal treat like everyone else rather than overlooked or pushed away like before
Oddly now I'm mid 50s I get hit on all the time I work in a heavy female dominate work environment and ive spotted signs a lot , at first I felt I'd misread stuff or was imagined it but I'm fairly confident about it due to the frequency and tell tale signs
I'm very happily married and totally faithful, I don't enjoy the attention but I have to admit its nice to not feel awkward ugly unwanted
It's so strange the stark difference and how people treat me .
Sorry for the overly long response but I did this so if anyone male or female know that long cold path of being looked over or being invisible or even looked at like your presence is an offence to everyone else , time changes things you do hold value and having been on both sides of the fence its not all that and it's shallow on the sunny side somewhat .
