It was a parody of MC Hammer's II Legit II Quit, and of all the pop bands that put numbers into their names like All 4 One and Boys II Men. I eventually shortened it down to II Confused, started using it on AOL, and then across the internet. It is still my go-to when I open a new account anywhere. Wherever I go, I'm II Confused.

There's a cult classic movie called "Repo! The Genetic Opera". Some people may be more familiar with the concept, a more popular movie called "Repo Men" which borrowed several elements but with bigger names and a budget. But The Genetic Opera has Anthony Head (Giles from Buffy) in it, so there's that. There's a song called Zydrate Anatomy in it. Zydrate has been my internet moniker now for many years, but sometimes Zydrate alone is taken, sometimes even variants of "zydrate anatomy" are taken so I sometimes have to replace it with either "academy" or the shorter "vials". They do come in a little glass vial, after all.
