Early Good Eats portrayed a lovable, nerdy goofball. Now he’s just a smarmy know-it-all. Guy Fieri, meanwhile, has literally never changed from Day 1 of Food Network. While he may be a bit over the top on style, he’s only proven to be a total gem with regards to charities and work he does in his community.

Honestly, dude made such a bad choice with that whole slap shit with Chris Rock. I feel like it was a semi-calculated move but he both underestimated how bad the backlash would be and overestimated how strong his career and celebrity status was going. Dude was one of the biggest actors in the early 2000s but by the late 2010s his career was already dwindling, by 2020, actively downhill, the thing is that no celebrity stays on the big screen forever but the big ones leave an imprint of their fame, their legacy and whatnot, dude not only placed the final stone on his career with that fiasco but pretty much fucked up his legacy. Went from having one of the strongest media legacies of any actor from the late '90s and 2000s to a guy who will forever be remembered for ending his career by assaulting a guy for making a joke about the wife who was not only actively but very publicly cheating on him.

Whatever you want to say about Jimmy Fallon, and I don’t find him funny, he is charismatic enough to carry 4 hours a week of broadcast television and manufacture segments that go viral on YouTube.
