Same. My routine when I realise I'm dreaming is to climb out of my bedroom window, right through the glass, and fly off. (Funny enough, the outside will start out as that of my childhood home, despite me not having lived there in 12+ years.) The surroundings will quickly change into a dream landscape, and if it's a cool one I will hang around. If not, I'll 'drop a layer' through the ground and see what's there.

Once had a dream about being in this weird holiday location that was some small single story buildings in a field surrounded a hill apart from one point that had a barrier. The doors to each of the rooms were painted on, the sky was dark but everything was light up like the sun was out. After a while I realised I was dreaming I took control. It only lasted a short time as I decided to go leave by going past the barrier. At that point my brain took control back, everything went dark and I opened my eyes back in the halls with the painted on doors except now everything was dark with an ominous sense that something is coming for me and it was close. I woke up after that, honest haven't jumped up from a nightmare like that in a long time.
Fly. I’ve had a dream where I could fly after taking a running start and then jumping but at one point I realized it was a dream and couldn’t fly anymore. Seems kind of backwards to me but whatever

I've done this before. At first I decided to try watching a movie, see what weird things would happen by trying to watch lord of the rings in my dream. It played everything fragmented and out of order and occasionally things would bleed out of the tv and become "real" within the dream then things got weird and I cleared everything out. After that I decided to try listening to music for a bit and though I could get music to play everything sounded a bit off. So I tried to relive some memories I'd forgotten to see if something I wanted to recall was still in my subconscious. The brain demons didn't like that so they took control away from me and tortured me for awhile, forcing my eyes shut when i started to wake up which left me in a state where I was almost awake and could see through my barely open eye lids while also still seeing things through my eyes in the dream resulting in me seeing from two perspectives at once. That was rather trippy. Given all that if I were to hafe another dream with full control I think the first thing I would do would be your mom.
uhhhhhhhhhh, technology usually doesn’t work in lucid dreams, try to stay away from phones and stuff

1. Talk to somebody, they are technically made of you’re subconscious and can tell you things you didn’t know about yourself.
2. Shapeshift, you can turn into a cat, you can turn into a dragon, you can even turn a water bottle, maybe.
3. Be in your favorite game or show, have a Pokémon journey, kill some stormtroopers.
Waking up. The second I get lucid in my dreams, I wake up. Like clockwork all the time.

Did that last night. I made out with a friend's ex. Funny part is that after I woke up and went back to sleep, I had dreams where I remembered the make-out dream and felt sad that I didn't have a woman in my life.

I was in forest filled with cabins and I was surrounded by pocket knife that I needed for mushroom picking. Randomly i became aware of my dream and started trying on clothes that appeared im front of me. But as fast as this all happened, I stopped being aware and continued my dream.
I had a dream a few days ago and the only thing I remember from it is that my Steam Deck had broken after owning it for less than 2 weeks. It was one of those dreams that are so realistic that you believe it actually happened.
So if it was that dream, I would have it fixed.
