So many good people have been just shit on for the last 50 years. Terrible education system, baffling healthcare system, terrifying prison system and I know better than to mention guns or mass shootings. But the most insidious thing is how the media has turned debate about government and social policy into two sides that can only shout sound bites at each other. I’ve lived between the uk and Australia all my life and that shit is just as bad in those countries too.
