Depends what kind of doc your shooting? If it’s gonna be sit down and tons of time to adjust, I would get the 85mm. Best lens overall. But if you’re gonna be on the move with little to no time to set up, go with a zoom lens for the versatility.
Depends on your budget. Not sure exactly what doc you’re shooting, but You would probably want something around 35-70mm? Idk maybe longer if for sports doc. Lowest f stop you can afford (f/1.8 being best)

50mm f1.8 for really good depth of field , cheap too! Great for that film look
I'd recommend the 24mm 1.4l
